Minus another point for that, Finally after 25 mins the food trays were back to full, and we only had a bit of time left for our lunch, serve the rest, then drive back to the office, by the time we got to the office, the food was cold and we couldnt eat it cause we had ran out of lunch time. minus another point for that. Finally took the opportunity to make a dream come true and check this place out. The buffet of food is comparable to any other chinese restaurant (or even a panda express, no hate intended). Indoor seating, limited but comfortable beverage options, awesome service. The food: Orange chicken was great but could be a little more crispy. The broccoli beef was awesome! The teriyaki chicken needed a little extra sauce due to the meat being a bit dry. Coconut shrimp had the perfect feel to flavor balance, if you can dig that. The chow mein looked funky to me but tasted great. The yellow rice was throwing me off as well, but came with plenty of flavor. I was sad to see they ran out of steamed fish and it was going to take a little for her to bring out the new tray. This will be my reason for visit #2. We recently discovered this spot while in the area to pick up some Wingstop. The food overall is a-okay but we keep coming back for the standout steamed fish and stir fried vermicelli noodles. It's like an upgraded Panda Express but you get to decide how many of each dishes you want since you pay by the pound. Currently if you go over a certain weight (forgot how much) you get a free soda can and two sesame balls. There is also an additional 10% off discount right now. Food stations have been clean and service has been very friendly during our past three visits. My non-veggie eating 7 year old also loves their veggie egg rolls. This has come highly recommended by several of our neighbors so I decided to check it out. I'm not gonna lie-several of my neighbors have some really poor judgment, and it became obvious it clearly extends to their taste in Chinese food as well. This place was pretty bad. Nothing tasted fresh or particularly good. My wife was a little more forgiving because she said it reminded her of the place that she went to growing up in the valley so I guess that's a win for her? Did nothing for me. The only redeeming factor, which I do genuinely appreciate it, and why I went from 2 stars to 3, is the fact that they give you incredibly generous portions for the price. You can feed a family for a pretty decent value here. And that's definitely something right now so if quantity over quality is your driver, then this is definitely a place to look at. After reading recent reviews, we decided to give this place a try again. I must say, the food was absolutely delicious and we actually really like the self serve option. Being able to choose what and how much we wanted was a definite plus. I myself liked being able to take a little bit of everything. Service was fast and friendly too. We were allowed to weigh our plates before paying so we could decide if we wanted to add a little more. And, the restaurant itself was spotless. Pan Pan Wok used to be one of our go-to spots when it first opened -- the food was fresh, flavorful, and overall satisfying. Unfortunately, something has changed, possibly new management, and our last couple of visits have been a letdown. Most recently, my husband and I picked up food and were pretty disappointed across the board. The beef broccoli had almost no flavor, and the texture was off -- more like boiled beef than anything grilled or stir-fried. The green bean chicken had decent flavor, but the green beans were so tough they were nearly inedible -- not just undercooked, but hard to chew. The orange chicken had a nice flavor, but the chicken itself was extremely hard, possibly double-fried to the point of being unpleasant. But the biggest disappointment,, The chow mein. What we got definitely wasn't chow mein -- it tasted like overcooked, mushy ramen noodles with no flavor at all. If we lived closer, we definitely would have returned the food. We really wanted to give this place another chance, but after this visit, we've decided we won't be returning. Sad to see a once-tasty spot go downhill. read more

Worst experience ever. I came in to pick up an Uber Eats order, and the lady at the counter told me to wait fine. But then she just stared at me and started talking in Mandarin with the other workers while looking at me like I didn't belong there. Super obvious and disrespectful. Then out of nowhere, she tells me someone else already picked up the order in the rudest tone possible. I called the customer, and guess what? No one picked it up. So basically, she either gave it to the wrong person or just didn't feel like handing it over to me. Felt pretty racist honestly, like because I'm young and Latino, she decided I wasn't trustworthy or something. I got the 2 item combo with half rice noodles and rice, greet bean chicken and the veggies. The rice was quite dry and I didn't care for the rice noodles - both rather tasteless.
