    The hamburger steak
    Dolan T.

So the other day my daughter did her errands and went to Papa's deli to buy lunch for her and my wife and this girl knows I love my hamburger steak I never been there before so I ate it buggah was Ono as picky about food as I am. I liked it the only downside was the Mac salad was blah other than that food was good but I heard they sell Filipino food I got to try that

    Loco moco

Not too shabby for a plate lunch place where most of it is less than $15. I got the loco moco and to be honest it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. Service was great as you really just order what you want then eat elsewhere. Atmosphere here was pretty much just a waiting room due to really all your doing inside is waiting for your order to be called. If I had to be blunt I probably would come back again to try there other plate lunches when it's around that time of the month where I'm pretty low on funds and don't want to go to mcdz. All in all great cheap eats that for sure would have you coming back for more to try their other options they offer.

A new eatery by the airport that serves a lot of local favorites. They have ready-made rentals for breakfast and lunch. I had a pen with a burrito fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and lunch in me that actually worked. Been here about three times already. I look forward to trying more dishes. I tried a beef bent with pork and the beef tasted like fish. It seems like they fried the beef in a pan where the fried fish previously.

Combo - Lechon Kawali and Pork Adobo (pepper on Mac is my doing, haha)

Wow what a great surprise, very homey spot with good food for great prices. Where can you get a full plate lunch for $10-$15 bucks. The order. Combo Lechon Kawali and Pork Adobo. The Lechon was packed with flavor and crispy. For most they may say a bit salty. That's right up my alley haha. The Adobo was soft and the sauce was more shoyu slight sweet style vs tart vinegar style. End it with the fact that food was ready in two shakes, I'll definitely stop by again to try other items. They have breakfast and lunch options. A lot of Filipino dishes, but offer a lot plate typical lunch options, then top it with steak and seafood choices. It's more of a hole in the wall spot, so if you are quesy, then this probably ain't an option for you.

    Pork adobo, Longanisa and eggs

I ordered the pork adobo, longanisa and eggs. Order came out real fast. There is a sitting place to eat but it was all taken due to the fact that it's only 3 people. Counter help was very nice and helpful. As for the food it was good nothing special but maybe will try other things on the menu next time.

Takeout lunch from Honolulu, Hawaii... Papa's Deli is a hole-in-the-wall place with no air-conditioning, but plenty of heart! I've had this place on my back burner and... an opportunity popped up when I was in the area at the right time! I rushed over before the door closed for the day... The humble, quiet man at the cash register was pleasant with a shy smile. He took my order cheerfully! I looked over the reasonably priced menu, then at the Daily Specials and chose the Roast Pork plate. He didn't offer me a plastic knife with the disposable fork that he handed to me. I found out why... The roast pork was so tender and cut up already! How convenient! I also enjoyed the fresh green salad and comforting brown gravy on the rice! I'm so happy that I finally tried Papa's Deli! Can't wait to return!

Cheap eats... Papa's does it all and quite early in the morning thankfully after I was done with my bloodwork you know I'm hungry especially since it falls on a work day. Located in the Airport Commercial Center which has ample free parking makes it a quick and easy stop to fuel up for the day though I didn't expect a carnivore feast as the menu offers so much comfort food from breakfast, soups and a very protein rich plate lunches and I'm aware of the industrial location so you know that this is the place for early morning hangry. I ordered breakfast and it was "Steak and Pork Adobo" and with understanding everything is already made and kept warm nice, fast and ready to go though there is a downside to that as the steak was sliced and cooked so it was pretty much done not to a point that it's hard but some may feel that way though with these prices you just can't beat it. Pork Adobo was nice and flavorful not too salty and my eggs was scrambled all on a bed of rice at $12.95 is a deal but what I didn't see since there was some guys already sitting enjoying their meal was they have a grab and go breakfast bento and at $6.95 that indeed was the deal I haven't seen at many places. Two guys work it and they were nice and polite offering a comforting vibe for early morning hungry folks as work is not just a nine to five days. Thank you!

Ok. So this place has become one of my favorite breakfast places recently. It's just off Nimitz Hwy by the airport. Plenty of parking. It's a takeout place. No seating. Once you walk in you're greeted with a really friendly staff. Bentos are available and a full breakfast menu. I came for the Bigger Breakfast C. Pork adobo, longanisa and steak. Wow. This plate was loaded. Great value for the price and filling. Food came out fast and hot. Adobo and longanisa were great. Steak was just ok. But what would you expect for value plate lunch. I'll be back for sure to try all the other breakfast items on the menu. And of course the bentos.

This is a great place to get a quick breakfast that's very filling for a very affordable price! This is a go to spot for our company, especially the three meat breakfast. There can be long lines of customers, so be ready. The only downside is the seating is limited to three people. We usually take out and go somewhere nice , park and eat, lol.

They used to be called "Christinas" across the way but now they are Papas Deli.....Located in the "Nimitz business center" same center as mini garden express...... Same good very affordable food...friendly cool staff..a very good value More of a pick and go place but definetely a place for good cheap eats....3 choice breakfast under $8 2 scoop rice...2 big eggs.... I went with pork link sausage (3) bacon (3) and like 6 piece portugese sausage.....if u hungry this place is the deals

Loco moco made with meat loaf. Should be called meat loaf moco instead.
    Tripps F.

Hot, brown and lots of it. That's how I can describe the loco moco without being mean. Who makes loco moco with meat loaf? First bite threw me off because when you order loco moco you expect hamburger patty, not mushy meat loaf! Gravy nothing to write home about either. Again, it was hot, brown and there was lots of it. Cheap prices, but I would pay a few bucks more for a better loco moco that isn't made with meat loaf. Tried their roast pork a while back and was nothing spectacular either. Three stars because the people were nice. There's some counter seating at the window, but it's very hot inside the restaurant so don't expect to be very comfortable while eating your food. Lots of parking in the shared lot fronting the restaurant.

    Jiwon C.

So much good food here and the workers are so kind! With shared parking with the plaza, it is easily accessible and quick to get to. The food here is so tasty and feels like it was made with love. I highly recommend for a nice meal. There are so many options to choose from. I like the lunch plates a lot, it has everything I want in a meal.

Every single item on the food and drink menu is crafted with such robust flavor with so much dimension in each bite. The drink menu is unique, I had a cocktail I can't remember the name of it but it had plum something and was created by one of the servers there. So cool to see employees own work on the menu, he shared with us how hard and long he worked on the craft cocktail to make it perfect. Now this is a bartender! Would definitely recommend making a reservation, unless it's just you and maybe one other than the bar is mostly open seating I think. I got lucky and walked in on a Sunday night and there happened to be two open seats at the bar which i hear is unheard of due to the popularity that is this restaurant. It's a cute restaurant and is definitely a well oiled machine

I came here 2 weeks in a row so this is the review for both times. The first time I came by I went…read morewith my coworkers for my graduation lunch. They were very busy but thankfully we had a reservation. We started with the Fete Spread as the appetizer, the spreads are delicious, I like the green one the most, its nutty and slightly earthy The red one is tomatoey n sharper and the white one is creamy and sweet. This app also comes with refillable toast, which we definitely made sure to get another serving of. Then I was going to get the Korean steak as my entrée, however my coworker got it and I wanted to try something different and new so I went with the beef pot pie per the waitress' recommendation. However, I really wasn't that good in my opinion. I felt like the bourbon in the pie filling made it taste off and unappealing to me. Then I got dessert because why not. We got a lilikoi cheesecake from the Millie Fete bakery. I did not like the cheesecake very much as well. The chocolate mousse on top was good, thw cheesecake itself was good as well. However, the crust also had alcohol infused in it, which made it taste off and bitter to me. I even asked my coworkers to taste it and they agreed. We also got a scoop of kulolo ice cream. I didn't realize it was going to ALSO be infused in alc, I think it was rum, so again, the ice cream tasted slightly off to me. Kulolo is already perfect why mess with it... Also my OTHER frustration was that it took an OBSCENE amount of time for the cheesecake and ice cream. Logically, the cheesecake would just need to be plated and the ice cream just scooped. However it took 15-20 minutes for us to get the dessert which is ridiculous in my opinion. THE SECOND TIME I came, it was a slightly better experience. We had the spread and toast appetizer like previously and it was good again. WE also got the quinoa cakes and it was super flavorful and crunchy on the outside. I got the Korean steak this time around because I must try it. It was good, the scallion rice was good, flavorful. The steak was okay, it tasted good but I think it was a bad cut/quality of steak (they said it was ribeye?), but there were a lot of the silverskin/gristle (connective issue that can't be bitten through). Made the overall steak experience very unpleasant. I'm not sure HOW much I'd want to revisit as they have some pretty good dishes but some others are a little worse quality. Plus because of how busy they can get, the service might be a bit lackluster and even frustrating.

She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. Great dinner...but if anyone is listening...bring back the shrimp and grits!!!

The bread is toasted, crispy, and buttery. Everyone in my party enjoyed it. We did not expect our food items to come in really large portions. I loved the chicken karaage! The batter was light and crispy with great flavors and had a yummy sauce drizzled on top. It also came with a scoop of rice, buttered corn, and Mac salad. Mac salad was delicious! Prime rib sandwich came with salad and au jus sauce and a side of salad. It's good but also very filling. I didn't try the burger or teriyaki chicken but was told both were delicious. After dinner, we ordered a few items from the bakery to eat on the plane. You have to take a number and wait for them to call it. I got 2 kouign Amannn, 2 Dubai coco puff, and half dozen green tea puff. The kouign amann is a circular croissant. I liked that it was soft and flaky and had a sweet, crispy glaze over it. The Dubai coco puff had a strong pistachio crunchy flavor but I thought it was way too sweet for me personally. The Star of the show are the green tea cream puffs! I would come back to just order that! The top filling tasted like a thick creamy brown butter green tea-flavored icing. The filling inside doesn't taste like brown butter and less thick but still really good. Overall, they had really good food and items from the bakery. Highly recommend the infamous green tea cream and chicken karaage dish! Customer service was quick and professional though I felt like our server wasn't that friendly lol.
