I ended up landing on a their "Bleu Cheeseburger" with sweet potato fries. The burger was massive but looked overcooked and dry. I typically prefer my burgers to be juicy and cooked to a medium-rare doneness, but unfortunately the server did not offer that option and instead went for a well-done preparation, which was disappointing. Aside from the burger being well-done it still retained a good amount of flavor and freshness. So this place used to be really awesome with their milk shakes and epic burgers. I think with the cost cutting, the portions have gotten a lot smaller; beef Patty used to be thicker and less fries - which if fine cause we don't need that much fries. However, when you used to order a milkshake, they would bring you the glass with your milkshake along with the metal can that had the rest of your shake in it. Now, they only give you the glass which is not that much to begin with. So you really are getting ripped off on the price of the milkshake. The cola float used to come out with the vanilla ice cream and the cola in the bottle. The cola was a Mexican cola with the real sugar. Now they just give you fountain cola for your floats.... Totally not the same; the taste was off and the presentation was blah. It used to be a real treat to come because of the big milkshakes and the cola floats... but with those changes in place... this joint is just another ho-hum hamburger place not worth the price. You get more for your money at Whataburger. Good ole days of this place are gone... it's not worth the drive into town for the price to get the same thing that I can get from the Whataburger in my subdivision. First off, the company is taking COVID serious with all the necessary precautions taken: Socially distant tables, hand sanitizer, masks required, staff with gloves and a slightly abbreviated menu. We all ordered the same to keep it simple and that included the patty as medium rare. I knew I should have gone medium, but didn't. My fault. At first when I saw the prices I thought $16 for a burger seemed a little expensive, but the burger was the size of my head and the quality was amazing!!! The service here is also amazing! Our waiter, Uziel, came to our table and reviewed our order to verify everything was correct before going back to the kitchen. Even though the restaurant was packed he remembered our dessert and brought them out to us once we were finished eating. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. The mozzarella bites were filled with warm gooey cheese and the marinara was definitely homemade. The French fries were made from real potatoes and the servings are HUGE. So I came here about 10months ago and gave this place a 4 star review but me and my gf went back again excited for some good food but were really disappointed. The ambiance of the place is the same but the quality of the food has gone down a lot and we can tell because we got the same exact things we did last time. The fries were the same as usual so still solid on that aspect. Mozzarella bites were good but nothing special which also sucked because they used to be the best i've ever had. The worst part of everything would probably be how everything came to us at like room temp to cold. Barely any cheese pull off the mozzarella bites, not because of lack of cheese but just because they were barely warm. Wanted to give the benefit of the doubt there but our entrees came out exactly the same. Another upsetting factor was probably the lack of service from our server. The place wasn't as busy as usual yet he still barely came to our table. We were sitting there not touching our food waiting for him to come by with a check for probably about 20-25mins where as compared to before we were being checked in on constantly. Tasted like they were from sonic. The service was wonky. You check in first and tell some one what your order is. If you think that starts your order and that means you would be able to get your food faster then you'd be wrong. You then have to wait for a table then someone will come read out your order to you again. And then they will put the order in. So I'm not sure what the purpose of the first interaction was.
