Jeremy was not actually our waiter initially; however, we requested our ticket get transferred to him and for good reason. We waited for our waitress for over 5 minutes without our waitress acknowledging us. She walked past our table several times. I almost never review places but this place is awesome! I stopped in here for a drink before hitting the airport and wanted to try the mango margarita. I'm a mango margarita connoisseur and this place had the best frozen mango margarita I've ever had. The chips were fresh and the potatoes taquitos were great. I have visited this location before prior to Covid and I wasn't impressed. We visited this location again with a work group and everyone complained about their food. One main reason that the food was not up to par was everyone's rice was undercooked. Crunchy Rice I am not a fan of crunchy rice. With this being a Mexican restaurant that should be the first thing they get right. And as petty as this sounds the chips and salsa was even bad. My quesadilla was good though. Olé Olé Olé. Had a fiesta here at Pappasito's a few weekends ago. Had a large party come in, and we were seated within 15-20min. My favorite part about going to Mexican restaurants is the chips & salsa. The ones here were really good, and the waiter always brought over more chips when he saw the bowl getting low. We got the guacamole as well, and they make it fresh by your table . The queso is a good appetizer too (not too salty which I liked). As a main entree I got the Camarones Diablo (spicy shrimp). It came with a side of pick de gallo and supposedly tortillas (i didn't receive any, but I think the menu said i should have). Anyways, the shrimp were really tasty (they came in their shells). I won't say this is authentic Mexican, but good Tex Mex for sure. read more

Location was busy but the service was pretty good. My order and my sisters order was incorrect but we let it slide because we do love eating here and it wasn't the waitress fault more so the kitchen. Pappasitos never disappoints! The sizzling fajita plates are to die for, the shrimp is always delicious and the steak is the best. My boyfriend added jalapeño sausage to his fajita plate and it was delicious! I love the garlic butter that comes with the sizzling plates as well!! The Cajetas are a must for dessert, it's huge! Ice cream rolled in coconuts and pecans, drizzled with cajeta and chocolate. So yummy! And the service was amazing! Daughter took her daddy to lunch here for his birthday, and it was semi-spectacular. Pros: Excellent, tasty food and LOTS of it. The homemade tortillas, like the ribs, the steak fajita meat, chicken, and shrimp, are phenomenal! Adin, our server, was a little diffident and very quiet-voiced, but efficient. Clean and spacious bathrooms, in which cost-saving measures are evident. Cons: Very noisy; the music is loud, especially in the bathroom and on the walkway outside the door. While the food is great, the table size is tiny, and the tables are too close together; I didn't really want to hear a neighboring table's conversation about a friend's transition process, but I didn't have much choice. And -- this is weird -- the toilet tissue is about 3/4" narrower than standard. This is a great place to take visiting relatives from out of state. And it was a pretty terrific place for a birthday lunch! (Don't tell them it's your birthday. They'll make a big deal out of it and tell everyone how old you are.) read more

Friday 5/5/23 Cost: It's a little pricy. We were about $25 per person with water. Service: The service was great. Some of the best I have ever had. Our server was completely on top of everything and that really made our night. Food: Good food, everything was top notch. The tamales and chicken tacos were awesome. The queso sucks, it's velveta with Kroger brand rotel basically. No flavor and pretty lame, but all the entrees made up for it. Waiting: We had a reservation and they sat us about 5 minutes after our reservation which was great. While we were waiting, a server came out and asked us if we wanted drinks which was really nice. Overall: I would definitely go here again and I would recommend it. The food is great. The service is great. The wait is not bad and they are very organized which I really liked as well. 1. Ambiance-- Loud. 11:30am and the music was blaring. Kitchen was loud. Everyone was loud. We literally had to yell to each other to communicate. We were put in a booth in the middle of the restaurant. 2. Food-- We were surprised by both the quantity and the quality of the food. I got the Fajitas; my son got a combo plate; my daughter got a taco plate. Let me tell you, you get tons of food. One taco is twice the size of any normal taco. We boxed the leftovers, and my fajitas lasted me 3 meals. 3. Service-- Nothing to complain about here. They were prompt. Made sure our drinks were filled. Kept our chips and salsa filled. They brought the check and boxes for our leftovers immediately. 4. Cleanliness-- I did not have a chance to visit the restrooms, but everything around us was very clean. 5. Price-- Our total price was high for a usual afternoon, but we did have 1 beer and 1 margarita, and any alcohol tends to increase the price exponentially. I would put this on the slightly expensive side. Final Note: We enjoyed our experience, but I think it would have been better if they lowered the music, or fixed the acoustics by adding things to absorb sound, or moved us outside. read more

We have eaten here regularly. Our last visit the wife and I both had the shrimp with the taco and the enchilada. This was right after Christmas. The shrimp was basically raw and the taco tasted unusual as well. We showed the shrimp to the waiter and he offered to cook it more. It was just a disappointing trip.
