I simply can't enough of their fajitas. I live up North and every chance I can get to go to Pappasito's in Texas I do. It's been a few years and I was craving for the table side guacamole. THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING THAT AMAZING DISH TABLE SIDE ANYMORE. I did ask if we could face time with the chef while he made it. But that didn't happen. I lived in Texas in the mid eighties when I first was introduced to this fabulous restaurant. Haven't had a better fajitas anywhere and I probably won't. Great atmosphere. Be sure to stop at the station where you can see the flour tortillas made. Excellent service.

Was here in town for a local conference and multiple people said to stop here in the corner of Pappasito trifecta of restaurants it looked like... we arrived as a squad of 12 and were promptly seated and greeted by the host and our amazing server was on it with drinks and making all the food suggestions! We did Queso and Chips and of course guacamole...which was soooo good! Everyone raved about their dished but most had food envy of what i picked cause lets be real your girl had her weight in chip and dips!! I had the crab stuff shrimp and my goodness! Could be a meal! If you are in town or local go here!

Great food with amazing people! Came here for dinner to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time! Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, and friendly. I started out with a guacamole (made simple) and a margarita. Both items were delicious and started the meal off right! For the main, I settled with the taco dinner (1 chicken, 1 beef) and thoroughly enjoyed it. I did try my friend's ribs and they were surprisingly good! Ended the dinner with a little ice cream to celebrate. Will definitely return to try out more items as the food and drinks were great!

We were invited here for a birthday party recently on a Saturday evening. We had reservations but they were packed and we needed to wait a few minutes so we grabbed margaritas at the bar. They were very good and there was a large drink menu. We were seated about 20 minutes later and our server Laura came shortly after. She was awesome and took good care of us. We ordered a variety of items and the faves were the fajitas, the fresh made tortillas, the bacon wrapped shrimp and the queso was so good! They did a birthday song and dessert for the birthday girl and that was fun too! Definitely a great place for a celebration or date night out.

We had excellent service with Mimi this last Sunday. It was the Labor Day Weekend and they were short several servers. But she did the best she could and took care of us. Pappasito's on Lombardy is next to several other Pappa's restaurants. The atmosphere is very casual. Despite the being short, Mimi got to us as fast as she could. We ordered the Tortilla Soup with added Chicken and Avocado. It was a perfect blend of vegetables and spices with out having too much tortilla flour in it. We also split the Chicken and Beef Fajitas. We had to pay extra for the Cheese and Sour Cream but I think this is becoming the norm now. You could taste the fact that the meat was grilled on mesquite chips. The only thing that was lacking is that they did not have a very spicy habanero sauce. Mimi even brought us a single scoop of the delicious Fried Ice Cream. They have a Fajita Wednesday with reduce prices but Mimi told us that the place is packed. I would probably avoid that day despite the deal. We will definitely come back again.

Best Mexican seafood enchiladas! It is a must try if you are ever in Texas. Sydney took very good care of us. The manager and isn't chef are very attentive to food allergies and I appreciate everything they did for me.

I had heard wonderful things about the food, and within a week, I had the pleasure of dining at two different locations, trying a different entrée each time. The stuffed shrimp with crab meat was my favorite; as a seafood lover, it was some of the best shrimp I've ever tasted! The flavor was extraordinary, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the meal was! It was a 10 out of 10! I plan to return just for the shrimp! I should also mention that the portions were quite generous. I ordered the Chicken Fajita Soft Tacos, and to my surprise, the tacos were quite large. If you have any doubts about Pappasito's, allow me to alleviate them! They offer delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and exceptional service. I plan to return soon.

Beef Fajita*, Quail & Shrimp Brochette. An absolute banger Combination!!

I absolutely love this place. It's not the cheapest Mexican, and deff not the most traditional, but you will NOT leave hungry and the flavor is AWESOME! Flour tortillas are made from scratch in real time. They literally have a machine spitting them out right there in the restaurant. The fajita combo plate is awesome. That's what I always get. Deep flavors all around. They give you a garlic butter sauce to dip the giant shrimp in. There is also quail and steak. Let that sink in. Giant prawn fajitas dunked in garlic butter next to juicy steak and a tiny little BBQ quail. Tear some of each up and put in into home made flour tortillas and cover it with guacamole and salsa? What?! That bite is UNREAL! Only thing that is kinda weak is the chips and salsa. Very thin and oily and the salsa tastes like fire grilled tomatoes as a base. Some people would kill for this. It's just not for me. Service was solid. We sat at the bar since it was packed and the bar tenders did their best to juggle us. The ambiance is fun. Very lively place and full of good smells! Regardless - I can't wait to go back!! Cheers!!

It had been a few years since I visited a Pappasito's, so I had honestly forgotten how amazing their fajitas really are! The chicken is good but the beef is on another level. They may be pricier than their competition, but truly one of those instances where you get what you pay for. We did have a little issue due to their tortilla machine breaking down on a busy Friday night. However, the customer service provided by their manager, Brittany S., was a master class in hospitality. My son even requested a return visit for his 16th birthday next month.

Had to separate my beef into really small containers.
    Rafael C.

Can you please listen to customers when they say "just the beef and tortillas!!! That way I don't have to waste my time separating the beef from all the green stuff you decided it was ok to put in there. Which I told you I didn't want.

Nice place, nice atmosphere and the service was good. Now on to the food.I was looking over the menu trying decide what i wanted?I ended up going with the beef enchilada plate. While I was waiting she brought out the chips and salsa. The chips were the really thin kind which I like. Now the salsa wasn't that great imo.It had no flavor to it and it was really thin.I like my salsa to have a little substance to it.About 5 minutes later my plate came out piping hot.The enchiladas were pretty tasty.Really cheesy and had onions on top of them which was a added bonus if you like onions. The beans were also good and the rice was not bad.Im just not a big fan of Spanish rice. But overall it was pretty solid and I would definitely go back. The only thing that was lacking was the salsa.I can eat it but wasn't that big of a fan of it.

The staff held the wallet in their lost and found, made sure to ask verifying questions, and asked me to confirm if all my belongings were still in the wallet before leaving. I remember when they were located further down Lemmon Avenue in a much smaller space. They've since moved uptown, and the new digs are beautiful and very inviting. After we were seated, our server, Ruben, greeted us with a warm smile. We were especially excited since we arrived just in time to catch their lunch specials--and there are plenty of great ones to choose from. We started with a couple of frozen margaritas and a cup of queso while browsing the menu. The margaritas were spot-on--not wimpy at all, with just the right kick. And the queso? Absolutely outstanding--some of the best we've had in a long time. The salsa was excellent as well. My wife chose the lunch-sized chicken quesadillas, while I went with the #7 lunch special, which included a cheese taco, a chicken enchilada, and a beef enchilada topped with chili con carne. Our meals arrived after a short wait, and everything exceeded expectations. My wife was thrilled with the portion size--it was just right--and she was all smiles after her first bite. The chicken fajita meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly marinated. My lunch special hit the spot and delivered exactly what I was craving. We had a fantastic experience at Mia's Tex-Mex. Ruben took excellent care of us throughout our visit, and we'll definitely be back again soon!

The restaurant seemed warm and inviting with all the natural light, but as the meal progressed, there were quite a few misses that degraded the overall experience here. First, they didn't really have much in the way of non-alcoholic drinks except for sodas, which I typically don't drink. I wanted a flavored lemonade or an agua fresca. The waiter said they had lemonade and they could add some mango flavoring, but when I go the drink, it was terrible. It was like a Countrytime or something to that effect. I couldn't taste the mango flavoring. The waiter was kind enough to offer to remake the drink when he realized I didn't like it, but it was the same again, so I gave up. It just tasted so artificial and gross. For my entree, I ordered an enchilada plate with scrambled eggs and potatoes. The first time it came out wrong. It was beef enchiladas and not the cheese that was listed on the menu. Then they brought out my plate again and it was now covered in queso. According to the menu, it was a cheese enchilada with chili con carne, but I didn't want to raise the issue. I was really hungry at this point and just accepted it. The food was okay...2 1/2 or 3 star territory. The restaurant itself was pretty cool. I like the location and the abundance of natural light, but the miscommunications with the kitchen and the generic lemonade drink exposed some real opportunities here.
