    Beef and chicken fajita

First time here and the beef and chicken fajita with the garlic butter sauce is super tasty. Side dishes are also great- rice, guacamole and beans! Highly recommend.

Like all Pappas restaurants, this one is no exception to the excellent quality menu, food, service, and atmosphere. It was a great pleasure to share the experience with a Canadian coworker, trying guacamole for the first time, scarfing down a beef fajita burrito, and finishing with Tres Latte for dessert. My Famous Shrimp Brochette was a little undercooked for me, a crispy bacon fan, but that didn't stand in my way! Wonder weather allowed Al fresco lunch on the deck. Maria was incredibly efficient and friendly as our server. Of course, best of all my client picked up the tab!

Hello all, I had the Pappasito's Grill. It came very hot and tasty. My Margarita was delicious, and I shared a Tres Les dessert that was very nice. My service however was shaky. My tortillas came late and some beans were missing. This was a Friday evening and it was very busy. The ambiance is nice casual feel. Go check it out.

Went for lunch with a group on a weekday. Pappasito's is fairly consistent and this location is the same in terms of food quality and service. It's in not the best area of town and they do at least have a security guy in the parking lot. The chips are good, queso and ground beef are also tasty. Due to inflation, fajita pricing is obviously insane and overpriced but at least the meat here was tender and cooked well. The beef and the lamb lollipops were especially tasty and cooked well in our big feast combo #3. The onions are rendered down to a nice doneness too so everything was pretty spot on. They do make their tortillas in house like some other chains but they aren't quite as delicious as Lupe's. Service is fine as well. Overall, it's a solid Texmex spot for this Willowbrook area and the dishes are consistent to expectations.

I really enjoyed my time! My waiter was awesome! She gave great recommendations, explained menu along with tips, and was so courteous! The ambiance of Pappasitos makes you think fun, enjoying family time, and experiencing great food! This restaurant is in a private parking lot with security guarding the area. There is nearby construction so majority of parking is near the back but it's very well lit. I just ordered drinks and appetizer! Let's just say I was full! The food was fresh. My drinks were delicious. Whoever came up with the trio of margaritas was thinking smart and taste buds were on fire! They were definitely on to something! My nachos with guacamole tasted great! I definitely would love to return soon.

Beautifully presented fajitas. The steak was perfect but sadly the chicken was pretty dry. The guacamole was fresh and we loved the chips and salsa too.

Our waiter was fantastic, he checked on us to see if we were good and was very friendly. The food was amazing and the drinks were top tier, ambience was very family oriented. I would visit this location again.

    margarita flight yum yum

Can't believe I have missed reviewing this location especially after my last experience a few months ago. Coworkers and I have ventured here for happy hours a few times and enjoyed ourselves. Their margarita flight is good in my books. I think this place and the food is very much overpriced than typical Mexican flare but doesn't taste much different to warrant the up-charge. This place is overall 3 star, the food is 3 star; the beef fajitas...maybe 4. Service tsk tsk... The last time I was in here for a team goodbye happy hour. Now we're a mixed bag as far as racial makeup is concerned and during this day, I definitely was treated second tier. We had two servers, one female and male. The female server was walking away from an older coworker and I had beaconed her to order something more. As I was speaking to her, the aforementioned older coworker at the other end of the table, beaconed her back. This server immediately walked away from me mid-talking to address my coworker. The male server was off to the side and immediately clocked what happened. He made a chuckle and half ass excuse before asking me what I needed. However, I didn't witness anything funny. Now we all know why she did that, whether others want to admit or not. And I'm purposely not sharing the race of that coworker but it doesn't take a rocket scientist. Last time I checked, my money is green too and it isn't your business how long it is but neither it nor my plastic will ever decline!

If you didn't know...Happy hour is BACK! The mini matador nachos are so good and at a reasonable price. They are loaded with all the goodness and cheap! $5.95 The taco had a lot of flavor! The bartenders are always attentive and you know we love great customer service. Go to happy hour, you won't be disappointed

This is a perfect time to come on a Thursday for Linner with your Momma! Zero wait time! It's been awhile since we've been here and kinda forgot just how loud it was! I mean seriously loud to the point to where if you want to have a conversation without shouting or going "Huh" every other word, then I suggest sitting out on the patio where you have a better chance at having a normal conversation over the constant stream of traffic on 1960. This is the location my entire family has gone to for as long as I can remember and it has always been noisy, but we typically go in the later evening. Really didn't expect it to be at 4:00 on a Thursday. Enough about the noise cause I'm starting to sound like my mother let's talk about what's really on everyone's mind..... The FOOD! I mean really just look at it sitting there looking all tasty. For those of you that have never been... WHY!?.... The green sauce used to be served along with the red and chips, quick side note: the red sauce is awesome they serve it nice and warm and before you know it you're on your third bowl and you feel no shame! Ok back to the green, well it is extremely popular (and a tad spicy for some even tho they say it is not. You have been warned ) it is phenomenal and you will ruin your appetite on it! It had become so popular that "they" decided it needed to be charged for $1.95 bit tacky, but didn't stop us from ordering it. Mom always gets her Shrimp quesadillas and loves them! I always get the cheese enchiladas that are served with a Chile con carne sauce, but I opted for the cheeseaholic version, it comes with beans and rice. Their rice Is excellent not sticky or under cooked. Their prices are fairly high and yes you can find cheaper Mexican food places about every 3 blocks in Houston, but here's the thing. 1: The food, ALL of it is delicious 2: The portions are still huge! 3: The service excellent And the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's just so noisy, but that could just be me.

Upon walking in the restaurant was clean it was pretty packed for a Wednesday night but the aroma of the food! OMG! Our server was really nice and patient because my friend and I talked for about 30 minutes before we finally ordered our food. He has the beef enchiladas with rice and black beans. He cleaned his plate...literally not a grain of rice in sight! I had the smoked chicken verde enchiladas and WOW! What an amazing dish. I consider myself a Mexican food connoisseur especially being from California. I have always said Tex Mex?.....eeeeyuck! But Candente has changed my tune! I will definitely be back to visit when I return!

Glowing red. Burning. Candente…read more Let me start by saying that I'm not into Mexican food unless it's an auntie or grandma making it at their house. I prefer traditional homemade Mexican food but here we are. (Oh I googled and suggested this place lol) Went in for a team lunch on a Friday. Coworker's birthday lunch and she wanted Mexican. Party of 9 and we were seated promptly. They have a lunch menu and a happy hour as well as a full menu and full bar. The interior was nicely decorated. And open. There is bar seating and patio seating as well. Our waitress was Aisha and she was amazing. Friendly, helpful and patient. And able handle our large group and a few more tables with a smile. There were a variety of options. Salads, fajitas, nachos, enchiladas, etc. Also complimentary chips and salsa. My Order: chicken tortilla soup, lunch fajitas combo - chicken and beef. Chicken tortilla soup (3.5/5) - it was a bit salty for me but I am not a salt person so most things are salty to me; everyone else said it was tasty, there were tons of shredded chicken, avocado pieces, tortilla strips Fajitas - combo (4/5) - chicken was seasoned well and the beef (medium rare) was perfection and so tender and juicy, mexican rice was fluffy, and normally I would pass on the beans and get extra rice but my coworker suggested the charro beans and wow, that was a win - the seasoning was great, there were chunks of meat and the texture was nice, the only thing that could have been done better is the flour tortillas - they over-charred them making them too crispy and left them with a burnt taste. A couple of people got the elote salad and raved about it. So that will be a next time try. Def will be back. Everyone enjoyed their meals and some even ordered food to go. Would recommend.

Parking can be challenging on weekends, but there is complimentary valet and a few extra spots in a lot across the street. There's interior and exterior seating, with cozy booths and tables. Service is friendly. Chips and salsa: Superica has some of my favorite chips, crispy and thin and perfectly fried. The avocado crema salsa and warm serrano pepper salsas are delicious with a mild kick. The bottled red salsa is fresh and green salsa packs a nice punch. Migas: Scrambled eggs with tortilla chips and cheese, choice of chicken versus chorizo on top, finished with fresh avocado. I really enjoyed this combination and the generous portion for the price. The eggs are well scrambled without being dry, and the pairing with cheese is proportional. The chicken was a touch dry, but some salsa solved that well. I enjoyed stuffing each component into a fresh tortilla and devouring it as a breakfast taco. Refried beans and rice: Really delicious. The refried beans are of the smoother variety without as much chunkiness, which I prefer, and topped with creamy cheese. I could have used a touch more tomato in the rice, but overall enjoyed the texture and flavor. Patatas with salsa roja, topped with egg: I enjoyed the flavors in this dish, but there was sooo much salsa. The potatoes were thus a little soggy, though still cooked well. The over medium egg was cooked nicely and complemented the potatoes with creamy yolk. Bacon: Really generous portion for $7 as a side, and cooked well. Crispy potatoes: I enjoy that these are fingerling potatoes smashed and roasted, but they could be crispier. They seem to be on the blander side on purpose to allow seasoning to taste, and I really like pairing them with the red bottled salsa provided at each table (probably due to their association with ketchup). Hotcakes: The literal star of every brunch, these hotcakes are consistently delicious. They're massive yet somehow cooked perfectly through so that they're fluffy and soft on the inside and just with a slight crunch on the outside. The pairing of the creamy warm (!!!) maple syrup is heavenly. Because of how huge these are, usually one is enough to share between two people, although they also come in stacks of two and three. For reference, we finished 3/4 of three between four healthy and hungry people and it wasn't for lack of trying. Whenever I crave weekend brunch, Superica is always a top option.
