The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The service was great! Our bartenders were super friendly. Our server was very bubbly and efficient. I love the outdoor patio. We ordered the Salmon with summer beans and it was delicious!! Truly a great night!! Everyone around us were laughing, smiling, taking pictures and having a great time. We WILL be back!

Had a great time here with some of my chapter sisters post a play for lunch. We had the rosemary focaccia and I had the SPICY FENNEL SAUSAGE and Brussel sprouts . The pizza was good but needed some additional flavor. I also had the PARAGARY'S '83 which was tasty and perfect blend of gin and sparkling wine. Our service was great as our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The only issue with the entire dining experience was the flies. Flies flew around the table so much we were swatting every few minutes. The manager tried to put a cup of lavender and hot water on our table to keep them away but it didn't work. We complained about this several times but nothing could be done. I swatted a fly and my pizza box was hit then my cup of water fell on the floor breaking the glass. It was a lot! Besides that it was a good time. Will come back for the brunch menu

The back patio is so beautiful, here's a picture of my fun friends and I enjoying it!

This is a restaurant that never fails to impress us. My husband and I came 5 years ago for one of our early dates (We had a server named Jackson we will never forget) it was such a memorable experience, we have consistently came back. We've celebrated our engagement, marriage anniversary, date nights and friend dinners. You name it. Last night, we came randomly for a dinner date and we talked about how the location is made to highlight PARAGARY'S! There's nothing else in this area that stands out like this restaurant. We always enjoy the food and the drinks. Service is great. The feel of the place is always so relaxed and enjoyable. My husband made the joke "and when the bill comes, I don't even care because I genuinely enjoyed every minute here!" Ha! We are so lucky to have a restaurant that never fails, and holds so many memories for us. Wishing for many many years of successful business!!! We love this place! - Cassandra & Carson, forever customers

The restaurant was absolutely stunning and today's weather was perfect for their outdoor seating. A nice simple table setting with a small brunch menu and an expansive wine and drink list. Great for brunchers! My only complaint would be that service is slow but friendly and courteous. The food was great and we really enjoyed the lemon-blueberry pancakes. A burst of lemon in every bite. Tangy, sweet, and delicious. Definitely a nice brunch spot..

The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. Our party went for brunch and tried the breakfast potatoes, chicken apple sausage, strawberry coconut French toast and the avocado toast. The ambiance on the patio is chic, calming, and beautiful with water features crackling in the background. The greeter and bartender service was excellent but our server was not warm or inviting. He made us feel like a burden and barely checked on us. I'll try again and ask for a different server.

My significant other and I came here on a Monday night for a date night! We had no reservation and got here around 7pm and were seated immediately! The interior was nice, it felt very classy and kinda old timey? but i loved it and they also had little bag stands you can ask for, for the girlies who would like to hang their bags! so cute! Our server, Andrea, was very nice and attentive! She came around and checked up on us multiple times and recommended a few items on the menu that we might enjoy and she was able to answer all of our questions! Thank you Andrea for having such good energy and providing a good experience! We got: - Foccacia bread: I wasn't sure if I liked this bread or not at first, there was an herb in it that I couldn't identify but it reminded me of vietnamese pho! I ended up enjoying it and I really liked the side cheese with it. My s/o didn't really care for it and I do wish it came out warm! That would have made it ten times better. - Affrogato: My cute s/o didn't realize that affrogato is coffee and vanilla ice cream and we both aren't the biggest coffee drinkers at all so we both personally enjoyed the ice cream more then with the coffee I got: - Short Rib Raviloli: This was tonight's special menu and I was so glad I got it! It was super good, packed with flavor, and not too heavy and the sauce that was all over the plate was good! My s/o got: - New York Steak: He gave me a bite of the steak and what can i say? it was a perfectly cooked and seasoned steak and he enjoyed it too It was a perfect start to our date night and I definitely want to come back during the day time because the outside looks gorgeous!!

We had a reservation at 6 and we're seating immediately when we got there. The food was really good. The pizza are good value and the pasta was good but kind of overpriced. The desert was really good and would like to try their other options. I would come back. The inside and outside is really nice. We would've sat outside but it was way too hot. Our nice waiter was attentive and even put the shades down when we sat so the sun wouldn't bother us.

I would recommend staying for dessert too!

First time at Paragarys! Love the lowlit, romantic ambience. Indoor and outdoor! The holiday decorations were so fun. Cocktails were delicious and refreshing! Was hoping for some sweet holiday themed ones tho! I believe our server's name was Lamar? I'm not sure but he was so great! So hospitable and helpful. Truly great. Started off so strong with the mussels omg so good that broth!!! The mac and cheese, broccolini and pizza yum!!! Was hoping for the pizza to have a sauce though I don't believe it did. Enjoyed the wine list! And our server helped me out with tasters! That dessert was truly the most special thing I had, I think about it all the time. Fudge and honeycomb and delicious ice cream. Something really special in that oh my!!

I've always heard of Paragary's but never got around to going until now. I was hesitant because I dislike difficult street parking, especially on the weekend. Thankfully, I was able to snag a spot in the small free parking lot across the street. My friends ended up having to find street parking a little ways down, even early at 10:30 a.m. We had brunch reservations, which you can easily make online via OpenTable. My first impression was how cute and vibey the restaurant is, even more so in the back outdoor area. I loved all the greenery, waterfall fountains, and the fireplace. It's a very pretty spot for brunch, and the outdoor heating lamps make it cozy on a chilly morning. I also appreciated the bag hooks at every table. Service was excellent. Our server checked on us at all the right times, and we never felt rushed. Our drinks didn't all arrive at the same time, but at least our food did. I had a peach bellini and had no complaints. For food, I ordered my usual eggs benedict, which I like to get at any brunch spot. It was good and standard, tasting as expected. What would make me want to come back is to enjoy the outdoor seating again, though I am not sure I would go out of my way to return because of the parking and for average breakfast food, which didn't quite feel worth the price. Or maybe come back to try lunch or dinner. Regardless, it is a nice restaurant and a chill place for brunch with girlfriends.

This place is great for weekend brunch. It's been a while since I've been to Bacon & Butter, but I think the brunch here is just as tasty. Which is to say that it's among the best in town. There's no parking lot, so you need to find somewhere to park on the street. The restaurant itself wasn't busy when I arrived at 10a. And it didn't seem busy when I left either. They can accommodate large parties. - drip coffee: solid coffee - Pumpkin French toast: this was fantastic. It was nice and light. Not greasy at all. Not overly sweet. This is what I want when I order French toast. Probably among the best I've had. - Breakfast burrito: very enjoyable. Classic flavors done well. Nice and filling. - breakfast potatoes: these are served with many of the dishes (including inside the breakfast burrito). Delightfully crispy in the outside while creamy on the inside. Yummy seasoned salt. - bacon: I had a strip of bacon and it's good! Yes, bacon is always good, but despite its ordinary appearance, it was light and crispy even though I thought it was going to be a lot more chewy. I saw some complaints on other reviews about the speed of service. I was with a large party and was chatting away so I wasn't in a rush. I don't recall the food taking an unusually long amount of time. And our waiter checked on us at least twice while we were eating. The interior is nice. It has kind of an old timey ambiance in a good way. it's classy and clean. I'll definitely return for brunch. And I'm now very interested in dinner. The only question I have on my mind for brunch is whether I stray from the excellent dishes I already, or is I stick with the tried and true.

The Standouts: * Oh my goodness get that octopus dish back in my mouth. Wow, I can't describe adequately the unique texture they were able to get on it, with a crispy exterior and tender interior. There was a generous helping of garlic sauce which came with it and the potatoes that were on the side were also fantastic. Easily the best dish of the night. * The Ravioli was also delicious. It comes with a herby, earthy pesto on top and a delightful balance of cheese filling. * Lovely selection of Italian drinks including alcoholic and NA options * Interesting bruschetta flight - 4 pieces of toast each with a different type of topping. The onion Jam and pesto ones stood out to me. The Improvement Points: * The AC was not working very well when we were there. It got pretty toasty in the dining room given that it was a Sacramento summer day. I would love to see the AC back up and running next time. * The Carbonara, while nice, was not a standout in my opinion. They have a carbonara, they do it well enough, but nothing particularly special - light on the guanciale. * Location is certainly loud. Just the way the dining room is designed, no problem with the experience. Just be prepared to listen and speak up a little for dinner.

The theme of today's meal was unfortunately S A L T…read more The Octopus appetizer was the best part of the meal. The yukon gold potatoes were amazingly crispy with a nice bite to the skin. The inside was pillow-y soft, and when mixed with the salsa verde was full of flavor with a fabulous punch of garlic. The salsa verde could be put over a nice flank steak and it would absolutely kill. That said, the octopus was a bit *too* crispy. I felt I had to really chew to get it down, and I just wanted a nice snappy skin for some textural juxtaposition. For my entree, I got the Bolognese which was definitely full of salt. The pasta was wonderfully thin and bouncy, but I feel the chef may have had an off-day. My friend and I had to down like multiple cups of water with our meal which made it hard to enjoy. Plus, the garlic bread felt like biting into a brick. The inside was quite fluffy and soft, but the crust was simply too crispy. I almost felt like my teeth were going to give way. Honestly, I can't in good faith recommend this place to my friends, so neither would I recommend it to you. (aside from the pasta classes)

BEST. DINNER. EVER…read more Picture This: We are one of those obnoxious couples who have the audacity to hold hands and sit on the same side during dinner. Maybe steal a kiss. Yep. That's us. We arrived at Ella just before our 9:15 reservation and were promptly sat at a beautiful table. And wow, this table was gorgeous! The beautiful design of the space keeps your eyes entertained on every level. Both beauty and intrigue. It is a feast for the eyes before you get to the actual feast. However, we were hoping for a more intimate date experience so we asked for somewhere a little more secluded. Without hesitation, we were moved to another, equally beautiful table. Enter Kelly and Hunter. These two help to make our evening even more spectacular. The ambience was perfect. We started with their signature cocktail, gin and tonic with their homemade tonic and a martini. Hey-ooo! Dang that was a good drink. And efficient ;) We moved onto the heirloom tomato starter. Here is where I realized it started to get a little difficult. I was trying to look polished and refined, and really, you could've licked the plate. My handsome man is a vegetarian so he got the Barada spaghetti. I'm assuming he liked it because he ate every last bite. That, and he told me it was delicious. I ordered the lobster risotto. I have a hard time with food that looks too pretty to eat. But, I stopped staring at the beauty of the plate once the delicious smell rose in the air. Best risotto I've ever had. Hands-down. Makes a second place look pretty sad. No dessert but that can be remedied the next time we visit. We ended up having one of those dates where we ordered the appetizer and an hour later we hadn't finished it because we were still talking. I realized we hadn't even finished our appetizer course and yet, the restaurant was almost empty. When Hunter came by to refill the waters, I apologized that we hadn't even started eating yet and asked what time they closed. Hunter proceeded to provide the most amazing interaction. Making eye contact with both of us, he very kindly explained how they wanted this dinner to be an utterly unique experience and not worry. That we are here to enjoy ourselves in this beautiful restaurant so drink in every moment. And so we did. Kelly was awesome. We chatted for a bit about the musical tattoos on her hands. Just kind and sincere. Incredibly diligent service. At no time was I in need of anything. Waters were kept full, table kept cleared, food served exactly on time. It's a well oiled machine underneath the vibrant atmosphere. The food was spectacular. The ambience was one of a kind. A feast at every level. PS - I'm positive the open kitchen in the back would've been fun to watch, if I could have peeled my eyes off of who was in front of me.

However, when we let our server know that we were not pleased with the lobster risotto because it was under-seasoned, his solution was to bring us salt and pepper and explained that customers do find their food to be under-seasoned. Well that was not the case for the two other dishes we ordered. There was no remaking or comping. I had to season the dish on the table. On top of that, my daughter let the server know that she had peanut allergies. When one of the sides were served, there were peanuts on it. My daughter saw it and avoided it, but the server did not tell the kitchen to not put peanuts on it or warn us about it. He later on came to say oh I forgot to tell you that there's peanuts on this dish. There was no damage done. But there could be.

This is my first classic martini (unlike lychee martinis I've had before at other places). My server asked how I like it, with olive juice or with lemon twist or another option I don't remember. To be honest I don't know how I like it because it's is my first classic martini. So I was honest with him. I said I'll do whatever you recommend because I wanted to try a classic martini cuz I've been watching Gossip Girl. I felt silly admitting I wanted a martini because of a tv show. But my server actually did his research and found that Blair (a main character in the show) likes her martini with a lemon twist. And that is the martini I got. He brought frozen glass and poured the drink on the spot. It was such a vibe and a great drink. For food I got the grilled prawns. This dish is delicious and goes so well with my martini! For my second drink I got the shiso fresh. I was debating between two drinks and asked my server for suggestions. He is absolutely right with this recommendation. Shiso fresh is refreshing and sweet but not too sweet. I loved it. Service is wonder and drinks are tasty. I can't wait to come back!
