I just dropped my car off at a generic auto shop and they justified all the issues I had. Showed me what the issues are and how it's damaging my car. They did all the fixes on my car for a fraction of the prices that this dealership would charge. I personally would never recommend this dealership because the hairs on my back stand up when I've come here with my father growing up. Inquired about a 2021 TLX for an online price of $25,000. When discussing final out-the-door prices, I was given multiple points of pushback where the associate would not tell me. Upon request I received a final contract where the price was now $34,000+. Had a negative experience at this dealership & it was due to the sales manager Mohammad Farooq. I had a pleasant encounter with Monty, but it all went downhill when Mohammad came to the table. I talked to Monty days in advance of coming in & made it clear that I'm looking to sell (trade) my leased non-Acura vehicle & NOT looking to return/zero-out my balance of the remaining lease term. There was equity in my car that I wanted to capitalize on. Monty reassured me that was fine so we looked at a few CPO vehicles I was interested in while my trade was getting appraised. Found a car I liked & Monty was ready to start talking numbers, but I wasn't talking numbers until I saw the appraisal. We get back to Monty's desk & that's when Mohammad comes telling me that he'll take my car & zero out the remaining lease payments & disposition fee (as if he was doing me a favor). I declined & reiterated that I'm only interested in selling my vehicle, not turning it in. When I told him about my CarMax offer Mohammad started telling some BS story about how he once tried do sell his car with a CarMax offer & blah blah blah. Wasn't interested in the blatant lies so I cut him off. If I was ignorant maybe I would have believed him, but I've done this many times before so his manipulation tactic didn't work on me. Basically in the end he said that he will take the lease ($18k value) & not pay me the trade ($21k value) which means I was leaving around $3k on the table. I declined & left. On top of that, they add $2k onto their advertised prices ($1300 for LoJack & $700 for BS accessory fees). Neither is needed plus the LoJack is questionable since it seems like they charge that additional fee no matter what, even if they're reselling a car that they sold in the past with that fee. Someone should look into that... Anyway, I went to another Acura dealer who took my trade for $20.5k & I went home in a CPO Acura that was priced better than Paragon. I'd never shop at Paragon nor would I ever recommend their network of dealerships to anyone read more

I ended up at Paragon last week for service to my 2015 MDX. I've been in the market for a new one for a while, but still couldn't decide. But I'll be honest, I was not looking to get another Acura. Nothing against the brand, but after 17 years, I was tired of the MDX and ready to move on. While it was in service, I had a chance to speak with Eudes, a very competent Client Advisor, who introduced me to Frank in sales. Like I said, I was there for service, not to shop for a car. Frank is a car dealer that is a very rare find. Almost as rare as a 2025 CPO MDX A-Spec Advance under 15K miles in Murder Black.(My garage guy came up with that name when he saw it) I told him about my research for a new car, and that the MDX wasn't one of them. No problem, no pressure. He got to know me, and why I didn't like the MDX drive anymore. Of course a new Tech package would be better than my 2015. Still, I had other plans. I wanted more engagement in the road, tight European handling and street style. As if there was a "your wish is my command" moment, he brings me out and shows me this car. It was like this car was trying to find ME and Frank made the introduction. No pressure, as Frank wisely explained to me how I can get a car fully loaded that had features I could only dream about, at a better price and value than a new 26 Tech package. I consulted with people who work in the auto industry representing hundreds of dealerships across the country. I called them to see if they could get me a better deal. Not only could a better deal not be found, but that package in that condition wasn't on any of their lots. And that's when I learned the term Unicorn, in dealership lingo. That is an incredible series of events to come together. And they came together over on Northern Boulevard at Paragon Acura. I started off with Ronnie in the Service Department who was taking in info on my old car. The guy has a naturally friendly personality that makes you feel like you're not gonna get screwed. He's an asset to Service. And Frank, what can I say? He turned a car buyer coming in for service, who was in the market, but had already written off the MDX; into someone who drove off the lot on Friday with the best vehicle I've ever owned at a great deal. This car is so much fun, that to call it driving, barely scratches the surface of how you feel ..behind this wheel. The internet isn't going to find you the right Acura for you. Paragon will put you in the right, and smart choice of models. You just read a review from someone that had a great experience buying a car at a great deal from a dealership, in person. AVOID! - Honestly, I never write reviews for anything, but just had to write one for this specific dealership. My friends and I saw a, what-I-thought was a 'great' deal on their website, a 2021 TLX Acura "CERTIFIED" Pre-Owned @ $26K flat. We went in-person to check it out, Car looked great, sticker says Certified Pre-owned, everything checked out. A new salesperson (which I'm assuming), Muntasir, greeted us and offered to help and the first thing we asked was if this vehicle was certified and he said it is. Keep in mind on the Certified part. We walk in, talked some numbers, and I was actually going to give him the easiest deal of his life. After about 2 hours, I signed the papers, opened up my new insurance, gave him my down payment, and he said he will get right back to me. And the first thing he tells me after getting back with his team is, it is NOT CERTIFIED, due to recall issue. As you may know, I was pretty upset and demanded a full refund which they say this will issue, and I left the dealership with the receipt. This was Sunday of Sept 15th, they mentioned to me that I will receive my refund by end of Friday that week, Sept 20th. I gave them another call and one of the receptionist told me to wait a couple of more business days, so I did. I reached back out to them on Monday and they tell me the refund process has actually started on the 20th, Friday!?? So what was being done the whole week? So he tells me to wait by end of week so I did, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Still nothing. At this point I've started a dispute/chargeback against them because I was not receiving my refund, which was ALOT. They put me on with the manager, Mohammed, and he claims that my bank has taken the money from them which is false. I reached back out again on Friday, 27th, with a different manager, Justin Hill, and he was a bit more proactive with it and actually discussed it with their accounting team. He notified me that since I have the dispute active, they are unable to refund me until that has been settled, because they're afraid that I will receive a full refund from Paragon Acura, and double from the bank, even though I stated that the bank will automatically settle the claim once the refund is in. This wouldn't have happened if the refund was issued by that first week. So overall, stop falsely advertising on your website and in-person, actually PROCESS the refund when stated and not have me wait more than 2 weeks at this point. And to Mohammed, just stop lying, the bank did not take the money from you guys, Justin stated it. Its one thing to tell me that the accounting team is backed up and another that the refund has not been processed at all, and also inform your sales people better on your listings before settling on a deal. It makes your ACTUAL, dedicated sales team look bad. I'm done talking with Paragon, and relying on my bank to help dispute this claim, please avoid this dealership if you like to keep your money. What could have been the easiest deal of their lives, turned into a stupid tedious refund process. I've lost all my trust in this dealership. To top it all off, I was still monitoring their website and they finally took off the 'Certified' label on their website a week later, and lowered the vehicle to $25.7K, and is now sold, since I cannot see it on their website anymore and the link I had previously says its sold. Honestly, I have been really loyal w Paragon and I just haven't had a great experience lately at all. Let's just say they wanted a deposit to even get some quotes. The salesman Marco M. was pleasant BUT----- if anyone ever deals with the sales manager Mohammed, you will all sleep comfortably knowing that he pays 702 for an Aspec - and don't be scared to ask him because he freely told me he can show me what he pays on the computer but couldn't give me any numbers - nothing for loyalty - his sales tactics were so subpar. Finally Mohammed - did you not read what the salesman wrote on the form he presented you with- it had the car I currently have and the car I was interested in - but yet you asked me the same things over - and all that for you to tell me you pay 702 on your Aspec - no one asked. Total waste of time!!! Besides I'm still waiting for the email I was suppose to get today (9/14) - just don't bother at this point - obviously my business was of zero interest. And because of this I have decided to part ways with Acura and mostly PARAGON it's time to move on to better and perhaps even better customer service. It was very simple payments nothing serious out-of-pocket had a lot of residual in my lease, which by the way did not get from them recently went back I literally got fucked. I've heard stories about the old bait and switch. I round up getting a fucking car or an SUV. All I can say is do alot of research before coming here. I did not have a lot of time due to work and my MDX was having issue that I needed a car asap. While the listed price may seem great, they will be adding on other fees that would boost up the final price. Not to mention, the after sales experience and getting charged for "amount remaining" on sales tax. They used a "third vendor" to assess the taxes , so beware you will end up getting your plates held up at the dealership until they collect what they needed. I am waiting a response from Acura corporate to explain to me why they can't get the tax amount correct in the first place since the whole process took a good 4-5 hours... what's happening in between these hours? I almost seek legal guidance from the local attorney since I never such a bad experience, especially coming from Acura. The client relations manager can only do so much to try and work things out , which I appreciate, but my expectations fell short and I should have just stayed local. read more

I leased an Acura RDX, and went to Paragon Acura for first service. The engine oil cap was not properly capped, after service, but I did not know this: I am a 69 year old lady. I have nothing to do with the car except buy gas and car washes. No-one had opened the hood. I smelled something from the front air vents and complained to the person who brokered the lease. I have multiple witnesses who also smelled something. But, no warning lights came on, and I waited till second service to ask for the issue to be located. I did not go back to Paragon Acura, but went to Acura of Valley Stream because I had heard good reviews about the service there. They located the problem and said oil had sprayed all over the hood liner, engine cover and upper engine. They gave me a service report. I went back to Paragon Acura with the report from Acura of Valley Stream, on 11-9-24, and the Service Manager there (name withheld) told me it had nothing to do with Paragon Acura, although he confirmed I had come for first service there. I was shocked that a reputable company would not take responsibility for a mistake that had happened in their service department: I am going to pursue this. I will find out if the customer service department of Acura has the same view as their service manager. I will find out what the Better Business Bureau has to say, etc. I will share what happens going forward. read more

After being note free for years there was only one car that I felt compelled to purchase, however the current car market is an expensive venture, as the shortage of chips has created a shortage of supply. Well I decided to go back to Paragon due to a seamless process on getting my certified TL a couple of years back. I was introduced to my personal sales rep Mohammad Farooq in mitigating what options are available in this market. Needless to say there is was not much wiggle room, but Mohammad did educate me on the market conundrum I found myself in. I was specifically looking for a black on black MDX 2022 Aspec with red trim leather seats. I ended up leasing the Liquid Carbon Metallic color with the red trimmed seats, and let me tell you, I'm very happy with the decision! In this market there is a bit of a waiting period and one can get a little frustrated, but Mohammed was very patient and diligently kept me updated on the progress as my car left the factory, was in transit and so forth. The finance guru Adnan Muhammad provided with what I can consider a pleasing experience and trust me that NEVER happens at ANY dealership!!! Look, at the end of the day, going to a dealership can be a daunting process, but at least for me, these two gentleman were able to get me into the car I craved with decent experience. Right now is a difficult time to get a car, but if you absolutely have to get something, look for Mohammad Farooq and Adnan Mohammad at Paragon Acura, and you will not be disappointed!! read more

He finally quoted me 6-9% and when I said I'd just wait until a stronger financing incentive comes around, he had the audacity to imply that I couldn't afford the vehicle as if I'm some clown who doesn't know how to manage my money. Reluctancy to sign a high APR loan does not mean I don't have enough money to purchase the vehicle; why pay 6% in interest on several thousands when you could be getting PAID 6% interest instead in buying bonds? Not quite sure what goes through salesmen's minds when making comments like that; probably not the best way to make a sale. Clearly sales isn't a fitting role for Simon if this is how he is going to speak to customers. Also, they told me they provide the highest trade in value for Honda products, but gave me an estimated offer of $3k less than what a Mercedes dealer offered me. I called Paragon Acura and asked the salesman if there are any extra fees in addition to the listed sales price of the RDX I was interested in. He replied that there is a state tax and a $500.00 DMV fee. I scheduled an appointment and was told that the vehicle would be ready to test drive upon my arrival. I drove for over an hour from NJ to the dealership. I waited over a half hour at the dealership before being told that the car was on another lot. The salesman also informed me that all of their vehicles have LoJack installed and that the cost is $1,600.00 for it. After being informed that I would be required to purchase the vehicle with LoJack I left the dealership. The next day, the manager Juan called and informed me that LoJack can be removed from their vehicles and that customers are not required to purchase vehicles with LoJack. Juan suggested that I come back for a test drive. I told Juan that the salesman is dishonest and that I will not do business with Paragon Acura. read more

PARAGON is a FRAUD - DO NOT BUY BEFORE READING THIS PLEASE READ, and save yourself. I purchased a Certified Pre-owned (CPO) Acura from Paragon Acura in Winter. So, at the time of purchase there was no way for me to check if AC blew cold air or not. Soon after purchase, I discovered that the Air conditioning (AC) of the car doesn't work, because of a past accident. The accident was never disclosed to me by Paragon. Also, I learnt that my CPO car needed new brakes right after purchase. I reached out to Paragon, and they refused to fix any of these. BTW the 182 point check CPO report from Paragon is showing that the AC works and Brakes are brand new.. total FRAUD. The total cost of fixing these is $3000. Paragon is simply DEFRAUDING customers in the name of CPO cars. They are picking cars from the Streets and selling to innocent customers as CPO. Learn from my experience. read more

Being the salesman Thomas Ng at Paragon Acura had exceptional ratings I honestly wasn't sure whether or not I should write this review but, decided that it was my responsibility to at least make other online car shoppers like myself aware of what can happen! I found a Fathom Blue CPO 2018 Acura RDX with 18k miles at Paragon Acura; exactly what I was looking for, for months. I saw that Thomas Ng was listed first and had good ratings so I chose to work with him. Just knowing it's an Acura dealership and with my years of experience in dealing with Acura dealerships I figured I couldn't go wrong with whoever I picked. I sent a message to Thomas Ng asking for more information, we then spoke and I asked if they would be able to deliver the RDX to my area because, I'm undergoing Chemo. treatment for cancer and that I preferred not going out and doing everything via phone/email etc. Thomas assured me this was fine and confirmed that they could deliver the RDX. Great! My sister suggested that I at least do a virtual tour of the RDX so, I requested one. Prior to the tour Thomas informed me that he thoroughly looked over the RDX and assured me that it is in immaculate condition except for two small light scratches that he found on the front and back bumper. Awesome! We get started in the front and Thomas is doing great zooming in on the RDX etc. When we get to the back I had to keep asking him to back up and slow down. Every time I asked him to do this he kept aiming the camera at different areas of the RDX and I had to keep saying "no back-up I saw something". At this point I had a hunch that he wasn't being completely honest with me so, I asked my cousin who lives in Manhattan to go check it out for me before I make the purchase. I gave Thomas a heads up that my cousin was heading up there; he said great I'll look out for him. My cousin arrived and could not find Thomas but, did find the Blue 2018 RDX. We FaceTimed, I got to see the areas I wanted to see and my cousin took pics. of what Thomas said were small light scratches (see pics attached). During this time I was communicating with Thomas via text, describing to him what my cousin looks like so my cousin could get the keys to start up the RDX etc.. Long story short Thomas was very busy but, did finally swing by to unlock the RDX for my cousin. The inside looked good but, the floorboard carpets were very dirty/stained; looked like the removable mats were never used. My cousin never got to talk to Thomas or start up the RDX but, that's ok I had seen all I needed to see. The next morning I received a text message from Thomas which I attached a screen shot of. After reading his text over a few times I decided that I had to write this review. I mean come on I'm not expecting "perfect" but, even eBay has guidelines and points out every pulled string or stain on a $10 shirt! I've never in 16 years had a negative experience at the Montclair Acura dealership in NJ or the Jacksonville Acura dealership in Florida with my 2004 TSX and 2008 MDX. A reputable and honest ACURA dealership would never agree that the huge scratches (down to the plastic) that you see in those pics. of this Certified Pre Owned (CPO) 2018 Acura RDX with 18k miles are "actually normal"! A reputable and honest ACURA dealership would never certify a car in this condition and take advantage of its online consumers like this; it's very disappointing and so sad to see! read more

There's no organization in this location but I'm forced to come here because it's the closest location to me. Driving in does not take long and even with appointment, they don't care and just takes first come first serve. Their level of customer service is below average and clearly only the manager seem to care for their guests. I however was never greeted and had people stand wherever they please waiting for an advisor and yet, I was skipped. Prices are high when it comes to changing filters or a simple tire rotation and other maintenance. One star for having snacks and beverages and even then, they lack cleanliness of the snack area. Things were not replenished and tables were not cleaned. But hey, at least they have snacks for us to kill time. The last straw was obviously the wait time after paying to get the car back. We went outside and asked multiple people to get our car which was literally parked right across the street on the sidewalk. Every person said hold on, I'll get it for you then walks inside to get some coffee or help someone else. Waited over 30 minutes to get the car and then finally a manager came out and we told him it's right there and how the other staff brushed us off. So annoyed with this type of behavior.
