Not sure how good is their coffee, but the wait is too long. Most likely for not having enough team members. The problem is that the space inside is tight, and they do have many tables inside where they deliver your food. However, I was expecting a high cost since I was in Coronado which is a pricey area. As for the taste itself, all of the flavors were delicious together! I make different variations of avocado toast at home and never would have thought to put mustard on my avocado toast but it worked very well. They are serious about coffee and they have a huge selection of specialty coffee drinks, cold brew and all the alternative milks. The chilaquiles used to be amazing here, I would come everyday to get some for breakfast. They changed it from red salsa (which was amazing) to a green salsa (which is overly peppery and overall doesn't taste as good). They also added salt cured cactus which doesn't add much to the dish. The green pure/salsa they add is also way too peppery, it overpowers every other flavor. Please bring back the red chilaquiles, drop the salt cured cactus. Whoever the chef was that was preparing the red chilaquiles, I hope you come back. Coffee is decent. read more

I was staying nearby and decided to go over to this cafe twice. The inside of the cafe is very cute and ample seating. The lattes, I tried the vanilla latte and the honey cinnamon latte, were both very good and smooth. They do the have a for here cup option which I really appreciate. I decided to try the Belgian waffle this morning -- there were a lot of flowers that I ended up having to pick off, there is also like a bird seed below all of the fruit. It looks like breakfast is served all day - which is always a plus in my book! There is a variety of soups/salads, toasts, pastries, and even 'big plate' entree items such as salmon and burgers. I decided to be a bit adventurous and try one of their wellness lattes: the blue mint magic latte, which includes blue spirulina (super algae!), dok anchan (butterfly-pea flower tea - which is a super plant!), mint tea, honey, and almond milk. Thanks to Eric, for not only making it look good, but was also really tasty. I was able to taste the different tea flavors with a touch of sweetness from the honey. My boyfriend had a cortado with oat milk (which he orders at every coffee shop) and says it was solid. The espresso was dialed in well, and it mixed well with the milk. The espresso was slightly sweet and the milk was just the right texture and the right temperature. Overall, we had a great experience and would come again for a tasty drink, try their food menu, and enjoy the beautiful decor. I'm tired of establishments claiming that their food is gluten free when it isn't. Gluten free isn't a fad, it's a real health concern. Half of the menu items are labeled gluten free when really the waffles are made in a shared waffle toaster and the breads are warmed in a shared toaster. Disappointing for an establishment that claims to care about to care about allergies and restrictions (see their quote in the photos).
