I've now ordered take out twice. First of all, the food is good. It is also from a region not commonly served here, so a few unfamiliar choices, which I liked. The menu is a bit limited, but they make their food well and plenty of veggie options. However, there are a couple of things on the business end they *have* to fix: each time, one dish in my order was wrong (I ordered in person). I cannot say if it is the masks, or a language issue, or something else, but that is unacceptable. They could offer a checklist or order online, but I may not return if it happens a third time. Came here on a Friday for early dinner with a friend. We ordered the following: Samosa chaat: recommended by our waiter, Amit. I love this dish in other restaurants so it's not surprising I loved it here as well. A bit salty and strong flavors but delicious Masala Potato Roll with Egg: as another reviewer mentioned the egg does not really add to the roll as it's a super thin small layer I couldn't even see it, it was almost part of the paratha. The paratha wasn't as flaky as I thought it would be. And as another reviewer stated, the salad inside was overpowering-lots of arugula and mint chutney. Perhaps they can state that there's mixed greens inside on the menu and next time I'll just have it taken out of the roll. The "desi" fries that came with were just over well done fries with mint chutney on top. I'd suggest they get thicker fries as it would pair better. Coconut Shrimp Curry: super flavorful, nutty, creamy and mild. Shrimp was tender and perfectly cooked. Rice that came was a bit small so we ordered another loved this dish Rose Lassi/Mango Lassi: the rose one tasted super sweet like the fake syrups you get but Amit was so nice about exchanging and not charging us! My friend loved the mango so much she took some home in a cup which he filled half way with more lassi. Amazing customer service !! Cleanliness : very clean, I loved the black plates and the staffs uniforms (long black aprons and black shirts) professional and neat. Paratha Wala is such an amazing restaurant! They are extremely clean and their tables are appropriately distanced. Their food is wonderful-- we had the wings, butter chicken, and chicken roll with the Desi fries. For drinks we had the mango lassi, masala chai (hot and iced), and some boozy beverages. Always wanted to try this restaurant as it's within my neighborhood and had good reviews on Yelp. Here's why you can't believe all the rave reviews you read and why I'm giving them a low rating. Came to dine in on a Friday night. Asked for a table for four and was directed to 3 different servers? Fine. Was escorted to the table and given only a drink & cocktail menu. Umm...where was the food menu? Had to ask and was given one menu for four ppl. Didn't matter. Little did I know everything went down hill from that point. If anything, SERVICE was SEVERELY LACKING. Not exaggerating. No service till 15-20 minutes in. Had to ask for water. Waitress took our order and entered it into their "electronic menu order" ipad. Six items we ordered NEVER came out. Not once did a waitress asked or checked on us. They were all hiding away by the bar or up front completing online orders. Perhaps all the rave reviews are for online orders and they got their food, but I never got mine!! Was being patient with the slowness, but after waiting 2 hours...nothing. Their excuse is that they had problems with their electronic ordering system of it letting the kitchen know the order. I call BS because it was listed on my check and had to tell the waitress not to bill us the SIX items we never received. Waitress apologized and asked if I wanted my missing dish to go. It was close to closing time. SMH!! Arrived here at 7:30 and left around 9:40pm. One other patron sounded pissed when he was waiting for a check. Where was the manager? I never usually ask for a manager, but there was not one in sight. I think I would have enjoyed the food if the bad service severely didn't affect my mood. Went home hungry. This is comfort Indian food, with a fine dining experience at a bargain price. Flavors are not watered down. Different levels of spice for the sensitive palate, with great non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Go for cocktails and snacks. Lamb is also excellent. Went here with my sister and mom for the first time and we had a wonderful experience. The appetizers we got were delicious and full of flavor. Out of all the meals we got, the coconut salmon curry was my favorite. Also, our waiter Amit was super friendly and attending. My wife and I pass by here almost every day when we wait for our daughter to finish her dance class, but never go inside. We decided to stop in and try it out because we had pretty much tried every other restaurant in the area. We were pleasantly surprised to see how nicely they had it set up inside and outside. We ordered the sweet chili wings and samosas for our appetizers, for our entrees I ordered the coconut shrimp curry with roti and my wife ordered the salmon curry. All meals were delicious and filling and the customer service was excellent. Amit, our server was always checking on us to make sure that everything was okay and always made sure that we kept a full glass of ice cold water, and answered all of our questions with a smile. He offered great suggestions on what to eat and wasn't pushy or overbearing at all. We enjoyed our meal (I left nothing on my plate!) and will definitely be back to enjoy some of the other dishes that Amit recommended because they all sounded delicious. My boyfriend and I tried Paratha Wala for the first time and loved it! Our basic information and temperature were noted once we arrived and we were seated immediately. The menus were disinfected before the server handed them to us. We ordered papdi chaat to start, the portion was good for sharing. We'd wish there was more papdi compared to the chickpeas and potato ratio but still delicious. I ordered the paneer roll slightly spicy and my bf got the butter chicken extra spicy and garlic paratha. The paneer roll was served with desi fries and creamy tomato sauce, it was really good (will be back for the roll). My bf enjoyed his dish as well, said he was impressed with the level of spice (loves spicy food) of the butter chicken and raved about the subtle incorporation of garlic in the paratha. Ordered on Uber eats tonight - food arrived on time and was delicious. Very fresh ingredients, great flavors large portions and was great. The food is not as heavy as other traditional Indian food, which was a nice change and was really good. We had the kale fritters, chicken Tikka bowl, potato paratha roll, and the golguppas, all were excellent. They also gave a small cup of kheer for father's day which was a nice touch.
