Enjoyed the Nuttelachiato. (Made up drink BUT I'm glad they made it up!) absolutely a delicious drink! Didn't enjoy any of the food during this visit but really enjoyed coffee. In terms of ambiance. It's a small coffee shop that you're most likely not going to spend too much time inside as you're on the usuals and will want to be by the water. The service was good. My girls were craving crepes this weekend and were excited to find this place a short stroll from our hotel. Walking in, the delicious sweet smells of pastries draws you in and makes the decision tough cuz every thing looks good! Very disappointed. I ordered a fruit + Nutella crepe and there were only about three people ahead of me. It still took over 15 minutes because they had only one person making crepes on a single pan, even though they had two pans available. The service was extremely slow and disorganized--orders were piling up and there wasn't any clear system for managing customers. By the time they got to my order, they told me they were completely out of fruit. I agreed to switch to just Nutella (the only option left), but then I saw and overheard staff adding oil into the Nutella container to "make it last." Why would you add oil to Nutella? That's not acceptable. I ended up canceling my order and leaving. read more

I love Parfait Paris in Coronado. I always order the San Daniele croissant sandwich which has prosciutto and Brie with a delicious sweet sauce for the perfect sweet and salty combo. The location is amazing as it's at the Ferry Landing and near Centennial park, so I often come grab a bite and coffee and then walk around the area to enjoy the water and sunshine. (FYI, there's a great family friendly beach at the ferry landing with calm waters) The service is also great here and I often get my food much faster than expected. read more

A small French pastry coffee shop located in Coronado Ferry landing area. Perfect place to pick up a warm coffee and a sweet bite. Friendly attendants with fast service. The coffee Alfonso makes is good with a nice attitude. They have nice bar seats along the wall. We enjoyed our stop here on Coronado. It's right in the middle of it all and a good pick me up before the rest of the island exploration. read more

It was kind of a confusing experience. I was trying to redeem my rewards from parfait Paris, and I thought the staff member behind the counter understood which croissant I wanted to redeem, but they just gave me a plain croissant instead, which is weird because that's not what I asked for at all. I did not notice until I got to my car because I was meeting up with a friend nearby for sushi. I have a better experience at the downtown location honestly, I don't think I'd come back here. I am just glad I got some earl gray and rose macarons. I'm not sure if the prices went up for the box but I spent $32 for it read more

Cute little place, not much seating inside but there are tables outside in the plaza. Had the Le noisette which was so good if you like hazelnut. It's very rich and creamy. Might be a little too sweet for some people. Also had the matcha latte which I wasn't really a fan of as it was too bitter and powdery for me, but the chai latte was really good! Holy crepes!! Not only does this place make super tasty coffee but they also sell delicious crepes! After searching around the area for some coffee my fiancée and I stumbled upon this cool place. Doesn't look like much from the inside but the atmosphere outside is super chill. They have tables and chairs around the area so you can sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean that comes with the cool sea breeze. So we ordered large hot crème brûlée latte and Nutella crepe with fruits such as strawberries and bananas to go. The girl working by the cashier gave us a iced crème brûlée latte instead so I politely reminded her that I had ordered the hot latte and they were able to fix the problem right away with no problem at all. The creme brûlée latte was nice and sweet but not too sweet. The Nutella crepe was filled with Nutella and fruits!! It had a great combination of chocolatey hazel flavor and fruits. Overall I really enjoyed the food/drinks this place had to offer and if you're a chocolate fan I'm sure you will as well! read more

Heard great things about this place before going, so was excited to try what they had to offer. I was not disappointed in the pastries as those were really good. Croissants and pain au chocolat were excellent. However, my coffee experience was mediocre at best as my iced drinks ended up being so diluted with milk that they were white. Couldn't really taste the matcha in one or the espresso in the other. Can't really say anything about the full coffee menu, but didn't have an enjoyable experience with their iced drinks. Came here while awaiting a boat ride across the harbor. We had their 6 macaroons (for 17). Our favorites were: vanilla, raspberry, and the jasmine. All very strong but fresh flavors. All their other treats looked great so will make sure to check them out another time as well. The shop is small but they were fast about getting you in and out. Service was not good. We ordered 3 scoops cup. I ordered, mango, Ube and blood orange gelato. The server got the mango, vanilla and we told him 3x that we wanted Ube. He continued and put the blood orange on top of the vanilla. Then we told him we want Ube. Then he got another cup and said you want ube? Then we told him forget it. Didn't want to deal with more confusion on his end. We continue to order Lavender Honey latte and Dubai Chocolate latte. We went to the side as we wait. He got on his phone and the other girl got on her phone. Both on their phone not making our drinks. Another customer came in waiting for his croissants. Then the girl realized we were staring at her and then she asked "oh, what drink did you ordered?" Our drinks literally told about 10 mins. Then the first server, left for the day and the girl stayed making our drinks. The guy really had no care in the world. Another girl came in and another guy. The girl that came in was giving better gelato portions as opposed to ours. The guy that came in was talking to the girl that was making our drinks. They were talking about personal stuff. That's not professional hearing their business. They are all talking loud, hard to avoid or tone out their talking. We like to support small businesses but man, that was terrible service. We thought about going to Cold Stone across from them instead. But we didn't want to support corporate business. Everything was so picturesque. Food: 3/5 Unfortunately, the food was not the best. We got the smoked salmon sandwich which was not very flavorful. The salmon was also slimy. The pesto spread was good though. It was creamy and the artisan bread it was served had great variety. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is such super cute. When you walk in, the desserts all look super appetizing. The seating areas are super cute and the floral decor are stunning. Service: 5/5 It is an order then sit down establishment. There is great attention to their dessert. I saw them heat up a knife just to cleanly cut the cake. The food service however did take some time to come out.

We used to come visit here when we come to San Diego. On this summer day - the restaurant doesn't bave any AC on so it made it a bit uncomfortable to enjoy our desert when it is a bit cooler to sit outside. The other thing that got to me was that the men's restroom was out of service so they did not announce it or anything but the women's bathroom was to be used by both genders but it was crowded so a bit uncomfortable. Service wise we got our deserts and the deserts are still very delicious. We were a larger party and they were able to accommodate and get all of our orders correctly. Noise level was normal and gave us time to sit down and relax our feet. Over all - food was good but things were a bit worn down from a building perspective

Cups are also on the smaller side. Rikka Fika is pretty good for SD matcha if you don't want to risk getting a cup of just milk. I'd come back if I'm in the area for the vibes, but it doesn't beat OC matcha.

We stopped by this lovely French bakery in Coronado and were absolutely blown away. The macaroons were incredible--especially the espresso and caramel--and the croissant and pan de chocolate were perfectly flaky and delicious. One of the best surprises was discovering they use French flour, which meant even our gluten-free family could enjoy some treats without worry. Such a rare and special find!
