The service was service, nothing great or out of the ordinary. The reason for this review...I love Paris Baguette but this location is so bad compared to the rest. I gave it 2 chances. The pastries taste old, they were out of a lot by midday on both occasions. The mini fruit tartes tasted old. It has not been a pleasant experience at this location. Maybe it's by chance or maybe this is how they are on the regular. I can't tell you how happy I was when I found out that there was a Paris Baguette down the street from me! I raced on over early Saturday morning and luckily there was no line. Their pastries are next level. What they do here is give everything TLC, that is why it is so delicious! I happened to be in the area and decided to try this place today. It keeps popping up on my IG feed Lol I wish I had gone earlier in the day cuz by the time I got there (2:30ish) most of their items were sold out. I was still able to grab a few goodies tho. I wanted to try the coffee but didn't know what to get. The staff was really helpful in making suggestions. I went with a hazelnut iced latte. Freakin delicious!!! Rich with just the right amount of sweetness. I was able to get 4 pastries plus a coffee for less than $20. The store was clean and low key.. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often. read more

I was in Glendale came to drop off my boyfriend to the dentist that is in the shopping center where Paris Baguette is located and he was the one the recommended it to me, & let me tell you when I stepped in the little cafe shop I picked up my tray and I didn't stop getting pastries lol, everything looked so yummy and fresh ! Majority of it was gone so I was like "this must be really good" so I decided to go big lol and take some to the grandparents.. I tried the Ice Nutella late which is very yummy it's not as sweet which I loved, I tried out the chocolate croissant which was soooo good and crunchy and not that chocolatey which to me that's good. & obviously I got a selection of pastries ! Overall it was really good, the service is not that great they are a bit rude but maybe I just caught them on a wrong day, but overall it was a decent little shop ! Flaky and light, with a little bit of sweetness, these croissants are addicting. Every morning on the way to work I have to steel myself against swinging by and picking up one or maybe 4. They also have a bunch of savory pastries as well, ham and cheese breads, hot dog in a bun, and curry filled bread. Everything is reasonably price and baked fresh for the day. If you need to celebrate or a birthday, they also have a wide selection of cakes to choose from. Just like their pastries they are light and tasty, not too sweet, and not too bland, but just right. I happened to park in the small plaza where this Paris Baguette is located and decided to walk in. I needed to buy a cake anyway for my sister's birthday, so I figured looking inside wouldn't hurt. I walked in and found just what I was looking for: a petite cake to feed about 5 people. The Mini Sponge Cake was sitting in the refrigerated display case. Their fresh Strawberry cream and their Green tea cake can never ever disappoint. Just trust and try it. They even provide candles depending on how old the bday girl or boy is turning and the knife is always included with matches that are built in to a little section on the knife. The egg tart was old, but it was my craving that brought me here. The cream cheese donut tasted Asian but was good. The prepackaged golden teddy came in chocolate and vanilla options. When I entered the store yesterday, the employees were arguing with two ladies (no idea why but super unpleasant). Then the sales girl asked me about my order and after a minute or two commented on my dog. She said that pets were not allowed in the store. I corrected her that he was a service animal, and referred her to ADA, DOH, and other sources. She continued to act damn, ignorant, stating that she was only a part-time employee and asked for a certificate. I advised her that she was now out of compliance (providing source and details). She then hesitantly continued with the purchase but now claimed she had no idea how to add a writing to or by the cake as only the owner could do it... I mean, three strikes, what a mess. Today was my first visit to Paris Baguette. It is stop number three on my quest to find exceptional croissant in Northeast LA. PB is a franchise and therefore owned by many people on a per shop or several shop basis. As a franchise they are required to stock Paris B products which means that most product comes in frozen for bake off or some as in the Soft Cheesecake comes in frozen, cooked off, packaged and needs only to be defrosted. How do i know this? I am someone who spent many years in retail stores that require nutritional information on items that are shipped in, baked off and packaged. In other words since the Croissant arrive frozen and need to be baked off they do not require nutritional info statements printed upon them. Boring stuff, yes. But this gave me big info about the manner in which the Paris Banquette does business. Same situation as 85 degrees btw. This unit is owner and run by friendly, though busy, personable Korean people. Today I bought: Plain Croissant Garlic baby Croissant Sweet Roll Soft cheesecake portion Cup of Drip Coffee The Plain Croissant are flaky, buttery with a sold center bursting with butter. the only odd thing is that this Croissant was brushed with a sugary film which was off putting but not by much. A very good croissant even though it is a "corporate": Croissant made elsewhere and baked off here. The Garlic babies were tasty: perfect for snacking or as a vehicle for a cheese topping for parties or just for your own Pandemic pleasure. These also had that sugary film. In this case the savory garlic played well with the sugary top. Add cheese before re-heating for a dynamite hors 'd'oeuvre. The Sweet roll was odd: basically a sweet bread roll stuffed with pastry cream. It was good just not to my taste. The Soft cheesecake is an Asian tradition cheesecake. The Japanese call it a Souffle' cheesecake or just a Japanese cheesecake. Egg whites are added to the basic cream cheese recipe which gives it a lighter texture than a so called normal cheesecake would have. It ate very well and survived being frozen very well as well. The cup of Drip is a big surprise: full bodied, strong, tasting of cherries and pecans. I real find! A place that knows that we need a kick in the butt in the AM and this cuppa joe does the trick! This Paris Baguette (btw: where were the baguettes??) is owned and operated by owners that do a terrific job. Everything is very clean and unfortunately because of the Pandemic product must be wrapped and therefore obfuscated from a proper view. But it is the eating that means more than the viewing. They have what looks like a full stock of cakes though i will have to wait until the next visit to ask about those Baguettes and cookies for that matter. Be that as it may: i will definitely be back to buy Croissant and taste their other sweet goods. read more

There was three flies in the bakery case. I told the young girls working there and all they did was let the flies out. They did not throw away the batches of bread from the case. Whatever you're looking for at Paris Baguette, you'll probably find that and MORE. They have everything from coffee, small snacks, cakes, tarts, and really delicious loads of bread. Remember, they can heat things in the back for you if you're eating it there. We used to go here all the time after the Korean market but the Korean market had closed. Glad that Paribaguette is still here though! Some of my favorite things to pick up here are- the bread loads with cream in the middle, ANY roll cake from here (great for parties), lattes, any of the pastries with a hot dog, strawberry flavored pastries, egg tarts, and specifically the big fruit tart for bigger parties. I purchased a couple of the fruit pastries along with some croissants and a pastry with coffee on it. The looks compared to the taste were nowhere up to par with each other. The fruit pastry tasted sour, off, and stale. The coffee pastry was dry and tasteless. The employees were really nice while boxing up my items but I ended up with part of their glove in my box.
