Lovely Bakery I love their cakes there it's not very sweet and not heavy at all. The place is up-to-date very friendly staff.

I know this Paris Baguette has been around for a few years now, but my first visit was just this past weekend. It's bright and airy, with tons of pastries and yummy-looking treats. I was greeted right away as I entered - and the friendly staff were pleasant to interact with during my visit. There's all sorts of pastries here - from savory, to sweet - all sorts of flavors and toppings to choose from. They also have a sandwich section offering ready-to-eat choices such as egg salad, tuna, roast beef, among other options. It sorta reminds me of an 85* - and I appreciate that there is one closer to the UCI area, as the nearest 85* is a few miles away over at Diamond Jamboree (in quite possibly, one of the worst parking lots in OC). I already had breakfast, so opted against a pastry, but went for a drink instead. I inquired about the sweetness level of the Korean Iced Milk Coffee - and almost immediately, was offered a sample. It was pleasant - I went with a Large - unfortunately, this coffee drink is premade/premixed, so there wasn't an option to reduce sweetness level or opt for a milk alternative. Plenty of outdoor seating upfront, and plenty of parking. Although its part of the Albertsons shopping center, Paris Baguette sorta has its own sectioned off parking lot that it shares with Habit Grill next door. read more

Nice looking shop. Terrible quality and price! Have traveled and had pastries and baguettes in Paris many times, I know the French people would be pissed if they knew how this shop was miss using the words Paris and Baguette. They don't really have real baguettes. I just bought a 'twist pastrie' (shown here), which was $5 for piece of deep fried dough coated in cinnamon sugar that was worse than pizza crust. Grabbed a few breads for a quick Sunday brunch. The staff were welcoming (per usual) and the store was super clean. No fingerprints on any of the glass, and the tongs and trays were spotless. A few of their breakfast items had just been prepared as you could still see the steam from the heat on the glass. I wanted to try something new and I saw a hash brown bun with ham and cheese. For about 4 bucks, that bun was super worth the price, and it was very tasty!! It is drizzled with ketchup for the perfect combo between sweet and savory from the cheese. Ordered a warmed pastry and coffee ahead of time online. At most locations, they'll warm it when you get there or have it warmed already. Pastry was not warmed either way. Coffee was ordered with whole milk and simple syrup, had to ask for both to be added in when I received plain coffee. Cashier only ended up adding the milk. Location wasn't too busy and all these specifications are on a receipt taped to the items. Would appreciate a better read of the receipt in the future! read more

The REVIEW: VANILLA SWEET CREAM COLD BREW: -- this is as close as I have had to my favorite cold coffee beverage in the state -- my fave is "Cloudy with a Chance of Cold Brew" at Lofty Coffee in Little Italy SD (it is amazing) -- tall, rich, thick vanilla heavy foamy creamy head -- nice quality java that is smooth w/no bitterness or sourness -- NOTE: Do NOT stir this or drink with a straw. The proper drinking procedure is to gently sip away at it getting cream and some java with each sip. If you stir it, the beautiful, delicious cream will fall to the rocks below (ice cubes) and you will lose a ton of the tasty cream. -- a bit too much ice in the bottom so it was gone a little sooner than I would like RATING = A- STRAWBERRY CAKE (in plastic bag): -- individual size -- nice pungent sniff of strawberry -- moderate strawberry taste in the mouth -- not artificial tasting -- soft -- not dry -- I am mostly NOT a cake guy, but this is pretty good. Fast and courteous experience. One of the smallest PBs I've seen but they have all you would expect -- from drinks to cakes, etc. Something new or special I saw at this location, VEGAN ITEMS! This Paris baguette is not as big as others, but decent sizes with a lot of outdoor seating and it's close by uci; probably for college students to hang out. The pastries here are great and not so sweet; price is about the same as 85 degree, but they offer boba drink. They do have coffee and tea. Staff here are nice but parking can get a little crazy. read more

An amazing addition to this plaza! We came on a Saturday morning just to check it out but also on Sunday night to buy something. The space is tiny but they make the most of it and have everything any other Paris Baguette has. The workers were kind enough to still let us in even though we came ten minutes before closing. I got a fruit custard pastry, cookies and cream macaron, and a coffee macaron. There was such a wide variety that I am definitely going back to try more items. The fruit custard pastry was delicious as the custard was smooth and perfectly sweet, the fruit on top was fresh, and the pastry was super flakey and crispy. The macarons were okay. I probably wouldn't get them again because while they were good macarons, the flavor didn't come through. Most of the staff here are actually very friendly and helpful. However, there is one older female employee whose service has been consistently unpleasant. I've seen her several times, and each time her attitude was not welcoming. She rolled her eyes at customers more than once. Although we personally didn't have a direct issue with her, we witnessed her doing this to several other customers who were simply asking questions. That kind of behavior really affects the overall experience. Honestly, we would consider going to another store in the future -- especially if you don't want to be met with eye-rolling instead of basic courtesy. read more

When I heard Paris Baguette was replacing Asian Box I was excited! Being able to have an asian bakery so close to campus is nice. I walked by and picked up some pastries. I got a sausage/hot dog pastry and a tiramisu tart. I really enjoyed the tiramisu tart since it wasn't very sweet. The workers are also very nice and welcoming at this location. Came to try out this new location near UCI, there were some seating outside of the building all of the pastries looked really good and i got the strawberry croissant which tasted really good with lots of strawberries and cream inside of it. my biggest disappointment was the peach iced tea. i've ordered this drink many of times at other locations and it's always been sweet with a nice peach fruity flavor. However it came out super bitter and flavorless here. i even asked the employees and addressed my concern and they said that's how it's supposed to taste, bitter. there was not much peach flavor either so i'm not sure how they're making it here but i def won't get it again. read more

Fair pricing. The puff pastries are all good, nothing extraordinary though. The cold brew was pretty weak, the matcha was disappointing, it just tasted like vanilla milk. We also tried the croissant which was good. So in general we would recommend to get the pastries and not come for the drinks. read more

Wow! Amazed with this new location they just opened by UC Irvine! Upon arrival the staff greeted me immediately and I walked into an array of goodies all along the wall. I got the ham cheese pastry and it is to die for! Make sure you ask them to warm it up! The sweet potato twist was flavored well -- exactly like the inside of a sweet potato -- but impractical at it's size, nearly tearing when picked up. I would opt for a smaller version if I came back. Ambience & Atmosphere The café was very clean and organized. I'd be interested to see how it handles busier periods or the end of the day. There are 3 stools inside, which are mainly for waiting for drinks, but there's a lot of outdoor seating that's shaded. Service No one greeted me upon entering, nor offered assistance, despite being the sole customer. However, they did provide water when I requested it at checkout. Menu & Food Quality They offer a large variety of creative pastries on their menu. This creates a "fun" moment for everyone as you pick out pastries which catch your attention. Value For Money The quantity of food you get for such a low price is quite worth it. In terms of calories/dollar you're getting quite a good return here. I have an obsession with this place ever since it opened within 200 feet of my apartment. I am here all the time. The staff are amazing and sweet. The pastries are immaculate and perfectly baked. The strawberry croissant, mini cream puffs, and lemon mochi donut are my faves. Their cakes are good and well priced too. They have free WiFi and cocoa and cinnamon toppings for their coffee.
