I went a 2nd time. Another huge disappointment. I even emailed per the instructions in the response to the original review but never heard back: I was going to just ignore the response to my review because I wasn't planning on returning since another location opened up in FiDi and my experience there was much better, however I had, yet again, a terrible experience at the Fulton Street location. I had seen that Paris Baguette was now carrying Ube products and as a Filipina I was super excited. My mother is visiting me helping me with my babies and she has a bad hip so I decided to try out this location one more time and give it another chance. However, the experience was far less than ideal and my mom and I ended up wasting a lot of money as the drinks we purchased just ended up in the trash. We had incorrectly assumed an Ube latte contained coffee as all Ube lattes we have gotten elsewhere are coffee drinks. When we return to ask what was in the drink since we had wanted a coffee drink, the person working there just told us it was Ube powder and milk, which was not what we had originally wanted. I told them that it didn't taste anything like Ube and that it was so horrible tasting that we were just going throw it away. The staff just stood there and just stared at us without any response. I think the most disappointing thing about this location is the lack of customer awareness. At any other café I have gone to in the neighborhood, if something was wrong with a drink or it tasted bad, they gladly remade it or substituted it for us but every time I have an issue at this location and shop in general, the staff seem to have no idea what to do and how to handle it. If they get my order wrong (which has been multiple times) they fix it, but if there is some kind of other issue, they don't know how to keep a customer. This will be the last time I go to this location, but I wanted to share this feedback as it was another really disappointing experience and a waste of our money. If we are able to get a refund for the drink purchases, I would greatly appreciate it, but at this point based on how my experience has been here, I am not expecting it. Nice & small spot in the heart of seaport next to a supermarket. Came here for the Dubai chocolate drink they had for a limited time and it didn't taste anything close to it at all.... I came across this bakery on my walk from my hotel, Fairfield by Marriott Manhattan/Financial District and 1 Police Plaza. The baked goods look delicious, especially the cakes. I didn't get a chance to try the cakes because I stopped in before 9 AM. I did, however, try several of their pastries - Crab Meat Croquette and Ham & Cheese Pastry. Both tasted good. Surprisingly, they never offered to warm them up for me. I guess I was supposed to ask them to do so. The prices were reasonable. The store was well lit and bright. The server, Nury, was friendly. While Paris Baguette is not usually my first option given a choice of bakeries for their individual serving size pastries, their ability to bring more affordable eastern-influenced western pastries to a broader audience is unquestioned. Their cakes a very consistent store to store and the general consensus (that I've heard so far) is that most people enjoy them for celebrations. I picked up a cake here a few weeks ago for party and it was a success, specifically the blueberry flavored cake has blueberry flavor in the cake batter itself, in addition to the berries placed on top of the piped cream. The Paris Baguette cakes have a very light crumb, and aren't very sweet, kinda like a chiffon cake, compared to the more moist, rich and somewhat denser batters used in traditional western-style layer cakes. Range of cake prices is $35-$50, depending on the flavor and size. Individual pastries run $2-$6ish. There is seating available at this location for about 20 people. Parking is available via street parking and structures though recommended to take public transport via subway or bus with will bring you within a 5-10 min walk depending on the train or bus line. read more

Ah, all of my favorites now within reach. It is openng day, so not accepting cash, only cards. It shares a space with Key Food Supermarket so shopping is convenient. Nice new digs. There is covered seating but does not look too cozy in freezing cold or otherwise bad weather. Pretty good bakery, part of a chain, that surprisingly is owned by Korean Americans. read more

So for my daughter's 1st birthday, I decided to stick with Paris Baguette because of how cute their cakes are! I had slices of blueberry chiffon and decided to go with this flavor knowing that it tastes so good! I ordered the whole cake and it looked so pretty! But the weird thing was that there was a hole in the middle like a tunnel. I guess that how Paris Baguette cakes are! It is filled with nice glazed blueberries with few leaves on the top. The cake was also decorated with "Happy Birthday Constance" didn't expect the quotation marks but it's okay. Buttercream tastes really good since it's not so sweet and great consistency! I had large slices since the cake is very addicting! I love cake so much but sadly I cannot eat that much or else I gain a lot of weight! read more

I stopped in Paris Baguette for an early lunch before a business meeting in the neighborhood. It was fine. I had a savory pastry with "crab," which I expected to be fake, and it was. I also had something labeled as hash brown bread, which also had ham and cheese in the stuffing (in case you don't eat pork). Those two together were sufficient for a meal. They have a little enclosed seating area. There is a funny sign. I should have taken a photo. It said something like after you leave the main store, if your food is damaged or dropped, there will be no replacement and you have to buy another. Something must have happened. Restaurants vary in whether they will give you another drink if you spill yours. So I am not complaining, merely observing the explicit note posted on the door seemed unusual. Popped in for a morning coffee and sandwich. The bread is fresh enough, the coffee hot and tasty enough, but the service....well, impersonal is the word that comes to mind. The vibe at this location was missing - the shop is an odd shape around a corner, with people stuffed in, still in hats and coats. Next time I will probably try someplace else. The menu options are good and the food was okay, but for New York... well, I'm more inclined to find something I enjoy more! read more

Stopped by to pick up a quick bite for breakfast and a cup of coffee. I got the crab meat croquette and a sesame tapioca ball. Tasty, always open and perfect place to study in the busy life of New York. The pastries I tried were delicious like the danish coffee pastry and their cappuccino cake!! This location is particularly terrible. I've been on three occasions and service is always slow. The employees also seem miserable and unwilling to help. The final time I stopped in, I asked an employee if there were any more strawberry croissants since none were out. She replied, there's some in the fridge, then returned to stocking the shelves with other items! Um, if a customer is asking for a specific item, it's because they want to actually purchase it and need assistance. Bizarre customer service, and I walked right out the store. read more

Paris Baguette locations are just randomly plucked all around the area. This one is connected to a supermarket and it was packed when we went. Pastries are plentiful and fresh. Love that they have an outdoor seating area that is covered as well. Can't go wrong with the pastries. read more

I was a big fan of Paris baguette until recently. I bought a cup of chai latte and a pastry and was peacefully enjoying my time. Then, the manager(?) came to me and told me that I had to leave, the reason was I had been there for more than 30 min. I could understand if the place was full, but there were obviously 2 open tables and it was well before lunch time. pastries were decent but not worth the price. the staff was not friendly. it's super clean in there, you pick a tray and a set of tongs and load your tray up with whatever treats you want. not bad but i wouldn't revisit unless i was in a pinch. read more
