Popped in for a warm beverage and to take advantage of their happy hour where pastries are $2 with a purchase. However, using the app for the 1st time scored a free pastry! Lovely surprise! The filling of the croissant was perfect, not too sweet! Americano nice and warm and smooth! I've never been here before and the cashier was so friendly and helped me with the app! Love the vibe and wish I would have worked from here earlier in the day, so many outlets to plug into and plenty of seating!

This is a great place to grab a tea or a coffee drink. A good selection of Matcha, chai, tea, and coffee drinks is available. The chai tea had a lot of flavor. It was a little sweet for me. The lavender Matcha is very good. I like that they have a good variety of teas The English breakfast is very good. The pastries and cakes are yummy. The chocolate cronut was the perfect afternoon treat. It is crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside. The top pair was dipped in dark chocolate. The chocolate cake was also good. It had a creamy chocolate layer with a delicious chocolate ganache icing. The staff is very helpful and nice. The space has a lot of table and chair seating. It is clean and comfortable. Paris baguette also has a good rewards program.

I've missed Asian (especially Korean) bakeries and this reminded me of the bakery I would get pastries with my mom. While in town, I visited a couple times and was pleased with the selection. I was excited they had some bread to make sandwiches with. But I also tried blueberry yogurt cake, mixed berry tart and a coffee bun. I enjoyed it all. I would say the coffee bun was interesting and different from the pasties I would normally get. And the blueberry yogurt cake was also good and the yogurt filling helped make it a little less sweet than like regular frosting/icing. The staff was all nice too. One of the ladies gave me recommendations for her favorites when I asked and I appreciated that. The inside was pretty big and I can see people sitting and working out of this space, like a cafe.

I've been to Paris Baguette a few times. This time I tried a savory pastry (curry bun) and a sweet pastry (coffee croissant donut) from the self serve area. I also ordered an iced caramel latte. The employee heated up the curry bun for me which was nice. There was a lot of seating available on a weekday during lunchtime which made it a good spot to catch up with coworkers for lunch. I enjoyed looking at the cute full cakes as well.

Need a cup of joe or a carb pick me up? Look no further. Paris Baguette has several display cases full of scrumptious pastries and tarts. They're all made fresh and are warmed upon request. I wasn't lucky enough to try any food offerings during my visit, but I did have the pleasure of trying their lavazza cappuccino. They offer fine espresso and many milk options and syrups if you have a preference. Give this place a try, hopefully I'll be back to try their food options.

Adding another photo from another trip! Not sure why it didn't upload. But I love Paris Baguette and it's definitely a great spot for a quick tasty bite to eat.

This is my favorite bakery in Rittenhouse! Though Paris Baguette is a chain, this location lives up to the brand's quality. Despite their name, this is actually a bakery chain that originated from South Korea. The staff here are all super friendly. Whenever I get a pastry, they offer to heat it up for me whether I decide to get my pastries to go or dine in. There are always a bunch of people studying or working on their laptops. I assume it's a great study spot for those that enjoy studying at a coffee shop like environment. I have tried their cakes, pastries, and even drinks. I really enjoy their cakes and pastries as their flavors cater more towards the Asian palate (not too sweet). They even offer a great variety of savory pastry options! I've noticed that they're always changing up their menu so you can always drop by to try their newest seasonal items. Their cakes and pastries often change depending on the holiday (not to mention their super cute decorations and themes!).

I needed a beautiful Christmas cake to bring to a party. Paris Baguette has the most adorable ones. So cute. It's the cutest cake that you don't feel guilty eating. It's a big hit! I love everything they make here! Enjoy the cafe with sweet and savory treats! Nice service!!!!!

Amazing pastries, coffee and chai. Service was quick! Very clean. Not a lot of seating but we just combined 2 tables for 6 of us.

Bakery items are huge, cake slices are average. Prices range between $3-$8 for an individual item, though they do sell full cakes. Overall, after sampling the following items, I wasn't that impressed. The presentation was far better than the flavor. I have been to quite a few authentic French patisseries and I can say that this is obviously a chain. It lacks flavor. Tropical mango coconut cake - consisted of layers of vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream frosting, with 1 layer consisting of mango. Cake was topped with frosting and mango chunks and fruits. Edge of cake was covered in coconut flakes. It was good, but disappointing because this is not what I expected. I thought it would have more coconut flavor, but it was mainly a light vanilla cake. Raspberry almond croissant- was nothing to rave about. For a croissant, it was decent. It had almond slivers on top and was basically a croissant filled with raspberry jam filling. I was hoping it would have an almond filling as well but it didn't. The raspberry filling was a simple jam. There wasn't really any overwhelming flavor. It was mostly croissant. Tiramisu- This is one of the better tiramisu's I have had. It has real marscapone cheese, which is unusual and gives it a good flavor. You taste and feel the texture of coffee grounds. It's simple but good. Coffee bread- Tasted like regular bread.

It was decent. A nice little place to tuck into when it was freezing cold and we needed some shelter and something to warm us up. Shared a hot chocolate - boiling hot and chocolatey enough. We split a few of the most popular pastries. Would've loved to try some of the savory ones, but no room in my belly after a big lunch. All in all, a pleasant half an hour.

A lot of different pastries to try, both sweet and savory. I like Paris Baguette because I can take my time picking my pastries and scanning my options, without the pressure of a line. I've tried a decent amount of pastries over the years and all were solid in taste and quality. It does sit in their showcase all day though so don't expect it to be warm & toasty. However, there are fridges that keep certain items cold. I recommend their strawberry cheesecake bread and rainbow cake. The rainbow cake tastes like fruity pebbles! This location is very clean and has a ton of seating. The only staff interaction I had was the cashier, no complaints. Just regular friendly customer service.

When I was there, I was in and out in about 5 minutes. I ordered the cheesecake, rainbow cookie, and cinnamon roll. These were all so delicious and I'll be back soon for more! The cheesecake was decadent but had depth to its flavor and the crust was thick and solid. I really enjoyed the slice and it was large enough to be shared, so I felt the price was spot on for the value. The rainbow cookie was one of the best I've ever had, with its rich chocolate flavor, and was an elevated version of ones I've had in the past. Lastly, the cinnamon roll was a bit too sweet for me, but otherwise it was what I'd call "a perfect cinnamon roll." Fluffy, cinnamon-forward, and with lots of icing! I walked right up and ordered - you can look through the window at the pastries - and order which ones you would like. I immediately noticed these 'large' cakes (large compared to the pastries) and asked what they were - Pound Cakes - Lemon and Lavender. I opted for the Lavender. This was a 'simple' cake - a little icing on the top, and a very subtle lavender taste. It was moist and rich, but not too dense - perfect texture. It was a very enjoyable piece of cake. I may try the Lemon Pound cake next time. Next, was the Plum Almond Tarte - it looked amazing. The exterior was browned and had a delicious caramelized crunch to it. I could immediately taste the plum topping as I crunched on a few almonds. However, once I got to the interior of the tart, it was soggy - too moist. I don't think it's supposed to be that way - but it made the tart difficult to eat. It was very tasty, but the sogginess really detracted from the texture. There's an attached picture of the middle of the tart. I thought I would get a cookie and they had 4 choices - I chose the Molasses. It has been a LONG time since I had a molasses cookie. This one had a soft homemade texture - it was sprinkled with sugar. The deep taste of molasses came through immediately and left a delightful little 'bite' like fresh ginger or cloves might do. It was a great cookie. I saw some macaroons in the front of the window - plain and chocolate chip - I got the plain. I'm used to the 'store bought' macaroons-with finally chopped coconut and a soft creamy texture. This was NOT the Manishewitz coconut macaroon I grew up with....good thing! This was a 'real' macaroon - the coconut was shredded a longer length and had true texture. The cookie has a crispy exterior and a chewy coconut interior. I also ordered a mini tarte - the Pear Pistachio Tarte. It was covered in a pistachio crumble and a pear topping, with a pistachio custard filling, which had a reasonable consistency, unlike the Plum Almond. I'm a big pistachio lover and this little tart was yummy - the combination of nutty and fruity came out really well. Last, but not least, is the Apricot Financier. This is a very different pastry - moist - with a very subtle almond taste. There's a very small slice of apricot (I wish there would have been more) which added a nice fresh fruity chew to the light cake. While the cake tasted fine, it needed 'something' more. I'll be returning to Tarte - most likely for the pound cakes and a few cookies!

I tried many pastries, but my favorite is still the chocolate babka bun. When I went to The Bakeshop recently, it was in the afternoon and they had sold out of the chocolate babka buns, so I got an orange babka bun with chocolate chips, hoping it would suffice. It didn't, but I'll come back to that. I got a few more items, a double chocolate banana muffin, a peanut butter chocolate scone, and a slice of apple cake. I felt I couldn't write a review without including the chocolate babka bun, so I went back two days later (9 a.m.) and picked one up - while I was there, I got a sticky bun with nuts (which had also sold out) and a plain croissant. Now, I have all these pastries! Let's start with chocolate babka bun, it's easily in the top 5 of my all time favorite pastries. I'm a babka fanatic of sorts - I usually always have a babka in my cupboard and/or freezer. I like them all - from a classic like Russ and Daughters (NYC) which is like a loaf of bread with a little chocolate. Or, the Nutella ganache filled babka at Bread's, which is more like a pastry. The Bakeshop's chocolate babka is somewhere in between - the chocolate glaze and sweet crunch of the bun's exterior, compliments a light and fluffy interior that has chocolate swirls running through it. It truly is an amazing bun! When I first went, as I mentioned above, I got the Orange glazed babka with chocolate chips. This babka was VERY different (as you'll see in the pictures) than the chocolate babka. It was more like a challah with a little orange glaze and a few chocolate chips. The glaze on top was very scarce and there was no swirl inside - just challah bun. Luckily, I like challah, and this bun was a sweeter version, with a hint of orange. I was looking at the scones (which you'll also see in the pictures) and they all looked good - The Bakeshop has some very creative flavors! I was deciding between the Chunky Monkey and the Peanut Butter Chocolate scones, and went with the PBC. It was very tasty, chocolaty with little peanut crunches throughout. I saw an Apple Cake there, and immediately knew what it was, as my mother made the BEST apple cake. I got a slice, knowing the Bakeshop had a high hurdle to meet. Unfortunately, it failed coming close. While the cake itself tasted good, it was way too dense, to the point of being soggy in places. Apple cakes are very moist, that's what makes them so special, but, they're still 'cakes'. I got the Double Chocolate Banana muffin - mostly chocolate with a hint of banana. This is a very dense muffin....very, very chocolaty! I like chocolate, but this was probably a little more than I expected. It was very flavorful and I liked it, but would try something else in the future. The Sticky Bun!! I'm also a sticky bun fanatic - they looked so good on my return visit, I had to get one, and I'm so glad I did! There is always a balance between the amount of dough and 'frosting and swirl' - you don't want too much of either. This bun was balanced perfectly and the cinnamon sugar glaze and swirl throughout was so luscious! It's a must try. Last, but definitely not least, was the plain croissant. After such an assortment above of sweet and decadent pastries, I wanted to see how their croissant was. Sometimes 'less is more', I wanted a plain classic pastry and this croissant was exactly what you would expect from a great bakery. Light, flaky, buttery, and delicious. Well, this was quite a line up of goodies! The Bakeshop is undoubtedly one of the best bakeries in Philadelphia. When (not if) you go, the chocolate babka bun is a MUST, but requires a pickup before 10 or 11 at the latest!

I was worried coming here since I saw many reviews saying how they run out of pastries and that it…read morewas very small place. So my expectations were low. Just going to stop by since I was in the area. The bakery is in this shopping center and the parking lot was pretty full when I arrived Sunday afternoon. I agree with the reviewers that this place is small. I felt that I wanted to take my time looking at items but the space felt crowded while looking. Overall they had many options to choose some but there were some empty looking shelves in the far back. I managed to get a few items to try and a slice of cake. There are kiosks to also order drinks. The line was long but moved quickly. The items I tried: Cheesy hot dog: pretty good! very sweet bread with a tiny hot dog. White Chocolate strawberry: delicious strawberry filling. The bun was soft and not overly sweet. Berry bun: I got the very last one! DELISH! The bun of milky, soft and berry filled. My favorite probably. Taro bun: HUGE! Love the taro paste but the bread was alittle off since there was seeds in it. Not loving that texture Tiramisu cheesecake: very good fluffy cheesecake. Would have liked more tiramisu/coffee flavor. Chocolate bun: Another favorite. Very good chocolate fudge on the inside. Wish I bought 10 of theses. Egg tarts: I got the two pack. Wish I got the full box (maybe next time). Flaky buttery crust with sweet egg custard. Also a favorite. Overall everything I got was really good. I also loved that the prices were very affordable ($2-5). The only thing I would add is maybe to have more a description and allergens added to the cards so people with allergies could identify what they can and cannot eat. Cant wait to come back and maybe try one of the drinks :)

The buns were decent but the milk tea was bad…read more I like how they have a constant flow of customers which meant the baked goods were fresh. It was packed, good thing they have a large parking lot. the milk tea on the other hand was using powdered and tasted artificial. the tapiocas were old and soggy. I would avoid at all cost.
