My husband, brother, his girlfriend, and myself tried this restaurant out on New Year's Day. The wait was a little long but that was to be expected. We ordered the loaded bloody Mary's which were excellent! The spice, cheese, jerky, olives, and shrimp were delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles with steak and over medium eggs. My husband also ordered the Santa Fe omelette I believe. The chilaquiles were amazing but we were not impressed with the omelette because it tasted more like a burrito. We go regularly for Breakfast. I have the Breakfast Burrito with Chorizo. My wife has the whole wheat pancakes. Awesome food, really tasty coffee with real cream. The service is excellent. Our favorite place. Only downside is too many people like it. Better go early. read more

I googled breakfast after being tired of everything around me and this place came up. It's a cute small quaint place. The menu is small but offers a variety of choices. Today I ordered the special of the day raspberry mango pancakes with bacon and chilaquiles plate it was awesome! After seeing the plates with breakfast potatoes on then I decided to order those too it's an assortment of different colored potatoes. Nice cozy hip little cafe we tried for breakfast. Steak and eggs with pico gallo and chilaquiles on the side were a perfect combination. Also had chilaquiles with steak and runny sunny side up eggs. The red salsa for the chilaquiles were not too spicy and tasted like it was made in house Lastly had a salmon with mango salsa over a bed of fresh spring salad mix with a side of buttered bread. Super sad that this place failed on so many aspects. We brought our daughters here for a birthday breakfast, trying something new. The hostess started the morning off with a rude glare and not even a greeting as we waited for a table. We ordered 4 meals, every single meal was very cold. Everything is delicious it has a Hispanic vibes south of the border omelet is delicious! What us unique about this place is that their potatoes are colorful! And its a variety of different potatoes! Yikes! This is the second time we tried park cafe, we thought the first time was just an off experience after all the good reviews and wanted to give it another chance. Our experience is over a 2 hour period-- 45 minutes to wait for a seat and 75 waiting for food, drinks, and the check. Service is horrible. We waited 45 minutes to be seated, walked inside to use the restroom and saw about 7--8 empty tables that people could have been seated at. They ultimately sat us at the bar. We watched the drinks being made, and they really skimp on the alcohol. I'd stick with a beer or glass or wine to get your moneys worth. Our server was rude and didn't have a care in the world about anyone she was serving. I had chilaquiles and they were good. My friend had a torta and is throwing up as I write this review. The meat had to have gone bad. When she ordered it, the waitress asked the manager if they were still making it-- now we realize it wasn't because of popularity but because it had expired. We were staying at the Wigwam across the street so decided to walk over for breakfast with our dogs. They allowed us to sit on the patio with our dogs and even brought them water. The food was great. I had the butterscotch French toast which was awesome. I had wished they served it with more raspberries, but that didn't stop me from eating it all! The husband had the crab eggs Benedict, which was served on toasted bread instead of the normal muffin. We loved everything about this! They have recently increased their prices. We ate there during the recent Christmas parade. Four adults and four children which included a toddler. The bill was $244 which included $39 gratuity. The quality of the food is no where near what it used to be. This used to be a little hidden gem in our neighborhood. I unfortunately will not be returning. read more

Came out here for Father's day with the wife and kids. After waiting for about an hour to be seated, we finely get seated. The staff was pretty friendly and our waiter was very talkative. The place was pretty clean, considering they were packed. So, finely checking out the menu with the family. My wife decided on some chilaquilas with chorizo. They were outstanding and delicious. My kids ordered a side of mac n cheese (it was the only disappointing dish we ordered and very bland) with fries and French toast with nutella and strawberries. Then came to my order of the shrimp taco plate with a side of fries. They were pretty good, but wouldn't mind if they put more then 4 shrimps in each taco. Anyways, I'd also recommend this place to others and look forward to making another trip over. read more

I am familiar with the Park Cafe, but not for the usual reasons. This past Friday, I ate here for the first time, which was in fact, the second time I had done that. I met up with a friend and they suggested we grab some breakfast. Interestingly, we were patrons of the Mediterranean restaurant which previously occupied this corner of Old Litchfield Road and Wigwam Boulevard. My dining companion lives in the area and had recently visited Park Cafe. And as I suspected, it was a great recommendation. Immediately, several items jumped off the menu, including the daily special which was an Italian Sausage Frittata. For breakfast, I chose the Goat Cheese and Chorizo Omelette. My omelette was really good! The cheese was creamy and complemented the spicy chorizo. And the fried potatoes included a unique variety (sweet, regular & purple) that were attractive and tasty. And my companion's breakfast was equally delicious. She ordered the Chilaquiles. This dish had a sauce that reminded me of enchilada sauce, but with way more flavor. I shared her dish and wanted to lick the plate clean. While we were sad to see the previous establishment close, Park Cafe is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. It's a beautiful area which makes dining on the patio very inviting. And after witnessing the line of folks waiting for a table on a Friday morning, I would wager that Park Cafe will be around for a while. read more

I am just hoping the more people put their concerns out, maybe something can be done...finally. The wait for food is completely absurd. I honestly think the staff hears it so much each day from people, they just act like it's just that day this is happening. They also don't seem to be too concerned when someone complains. I've tried to give this place multiple chances but it's the same crap every time and I'm done. Knowing that the restaurants are owned by the same person...I'm done with all of them. I came here last week with my mother in law after dropping off my son at school across the street. I had the steak, eggs & chilaquiles and it was amazing. My mother in law was a little frustrated that the first two things she picked on the menu were not available and the server said they needed to update the menu. I came here again yesterday because I had a real taste for the same steak & eggs. The steak is the best breakfast steak i've ever had. Very flavorful & the chilaquiles are delicious too. Such a lovely little no-frills spot for breakfast or lunch. Service is great although patience is needed as they are always very busy and the servers are always friendly but juggling many tables.
