This type of homage leads its way to the interior, where you will find many booths and interior design that reflect that time period. Website: 5/5 It has a classy look, from the font to the design of the image gallery, and brings you to the backstory of the business. You will find many menu items that each gallery shows. When it comes to the menus, you have options to choose either breakfast menus or the full menu, specifically the files of each of them which have their own physical forms. Wait Time: 5/5 I did not experience any issues while awaiting my order. Ambiance: 5/5 You are welcomed by a large entrance, giving the diner a level of prestige. The comfortable booths have a large enough space on their tables. You will also hear plenty of classic rock from the 50s onward getting you energized for the day. For a large establishment, plenty of space exists between the tables. You will also find an abundant menu selection to entice your visit to this diner, including a complementary glass of water. Food: 4/5 I ordered the Park Nine Omelette, consisting of sausage, bacon, and ham, which came with home fries and toast. From the omelette meats to the side dishes, every food had a well-prepared crisp. The toast had good, firm form, the omelette managed to stay together for the most part despite the numerous meats, and the home fries had a crispy taste. The omelette had a salty taste, due to the ham having the most prominent taste, while the bacon gave it a good crunch, and the sausage gave it somewhat of a hearty taste. For a signature dish, I will say that the Park Nine Omelette manages to evoke that Googie aesthetic with the high emphasis on meats, especially ham, that bring about a salty, hearty flavor. The website itself does favors for the food when it shows them, and it would have given me an idea of the Park Nine Omelette even if it did not show it. The time it took to prepare this course accurately matched the time it took to wait. I would not say that Park Nine Omelette gave me a positive mood throughout the day. Nonetheless, I could see how the service managed to make a good course. Service: 5/5 The staff ensured that I received our order, by incrementally handing them to us. Based on my first impressions, I will say that I had a good experience. It promises an "inviting atmosphere" on its website, and it does live up to it. They ensured the preparation of our orders and that we got them quickly. The service care about their establishment, from bringing themselves up to speed with technology to the cleanliness. Cost: 5/5 Factoring in my order, the course definitely matched the price in both abundance and quantity. Been coming here since I was 15. Changed owners many times over the years, but the food is just as good as I remembered. Now whenever I'm back in Freehold, I always stop by. Highly recommend the Hunters special. Comes with 2 large pancakes, choice of protein (bacon, sausage), 2 eggs, toast and home fries. The staff have always been friendly and customer service is top notch. Parking is never an issue, but getting back onto the main road sometimes can be a hassle. Pending time of day, it can get rowdy, but it's usually quiet for the most part. Highly recommend this diner! read more

So friendly, so courteous and attentive. .. he must have had a lot of experience.. I saw other people come in and they knew him right away and was happy to have him as there Server . Came for dinner on a Sat night as a party of 4. We ordered drinks & appetizers. The straws were dirty & opened. One end at least was black. When opened they were crumpled which was equally not right (red flag). We get our apps and the mozzarella sticks were cold in the middle. We sent them back & got the same bitten mozzarella sticks that I assume were re-fried.. not sure but that was bad. Then we get the food and everything was below average in taste, presentation, and In temperature. To make our visit worse, as the waitress is serving our food she coughs without covering her face in the direction of my husband & our table. All of this along with the dissatisfaction of not having enough silverware for 4 people, not enough napkins, no refills on our drinks is WAY MORE than enough reason to never come here again. We visited Park Nine for breakfast and enjoyed another great meal. My wife enjoyed her Bacado omelette. Bacon avocado and pepper jack. I hade a taste and def full of flavor. I ordered the eggs Benedict and substituted home fries for tomato. The English muffin is big and was cooked perfectly. Always recommend this place. I've eaten here once and took something out now, trying this place two times. Went in on a weekend and it wasn't very crowded. Got a salad and it was very mediocre. You could tell they don't have a lot of staff so we were patient. I figured I'd try it again today for takeout. Got another salad with tuna on it and the tuna was just not good. Forcing a diner to tip more than what already has been tipped is pure BS. The worst I have ever been. I decided to try this place due to so many bad reviews on a Facebook group. I figured it couldn't be as bad as they were all saying. I was so surprised to see that yea it was. My food ( a simple burger with fries) was overcooked twice to the point that I couldn't eat it. The waitress was so incredibly rude and treated us like we were a bother to her. I will never return. I don't know if the owner was aware how rude this young waitress was however I was a waitress for 20 years and would never treat a customer like that. Nightmare experience here this time. I am not sure they value any sort of customer service here. I ordered the salmon special and they only gave me the salmon with no sides. We also never received the soup we were supposed to get. The food is back to being pretty average diner food too so I am not dying to come back. There must be new owners at this place. It used to be good but it has really gone down hill in the past several months. I went out Saturday night to dinner with an old friend and what a disappointment it was. How embarrassing that i suggested it. Not a great menu and so i asked the waitress nina to suggest something. My experience started when I entered through the handicapped door, which brings you in on a far end. The waitress stood in the middle of the restaurant, waited for me to hobble over with my cane, only to tell me to sit anywhere. My husband had an omelet that was mediocre. The parking lot was full when we pulled in at lunchtime but there was no wait for a table. It looks like their business model is to not be masked, which for some may be disconcerting at this time. But like other diners in the area, their salad bar remains unused (there were place settings and silverware set up around it, which I assume was used to quickly get tables ready, but that might also be disconcerting). However you feel about Covid at this time, it doesn't take away from the food and service. Our party of two ordered a short stack and a Western Burger. The pancakes came out fluffy and the burger cooked as ordered. The chipotle mayo has a little kick and I asked for it on the side to use as a dipping sauce for the fries. It is a very nicely decorated diner with quick serving waitresses most of the time. Went there with a group for late night desserts!! Which is a guaranteed way to wreck your diet! In addition to a large menu of food items, they also have quite a few desserts. Overall I would say their cheesecakes are the best to choose from. I ordered a brownie cheesecake, with brownie crust and cheesecake filling. It was good, probably the best thing ordered from the group that night. The plain cheesecake was also good as well but again nothing special. The tiramisu cake was actually a disappointment. It did not use traditional tiramisu, Instead it was lightly flavored almost like a creamy filling. The large chocolate frosted cupcake was just that large, but just regular taste. Very disappointing...this place used to be decent, but i can see why it was empty at dinner time...was much better when it was the old Golden Bell! Wife's Greek salad was just a pile of lettuce with some feta a few veggies and grape leaves and a lot of olive oil and no real flavor. My son and I ordered burgers and specified no cheese...of course they come out with cheese on them. When they were sent back we clearly heard someone yell to scrape the cheese off the burgers. When I called them out on it the young waitress, who is evidently new, apologized and assured me they were making new burgers. Then, what I assume is a manager, came out and waved the menu pointing that there is cheese on the burger and the new girl must have messed up and again reiterated that they were making fresh burgers. Owner LOUDLY REJECTS FEDERAL Service Dogs LAW at Park Nine Diner. --ZERO STARS Saturday evening November 5th, we legally parked in a handicap spot with our hanging state issued permanent handicap certificate and I walked up the ramp assisted by my 4 year old Service Dog who wore a red Service dog collar and a red service dog vest with a handle on top so that I can hold on to him as I walk. Our family of 5 were waiting for us inside. Near the top of the ramp the owner of The Park Nine Diner, and an employee, popped out to loudly ask me what kind of dog I was holding on to. I said he was a service dog. He said what service does he do for you. I said he helps me to walk. He said we don't want dogs here. I said he's a service dog and I need him to walk. I asked him if he wanted to see a registration card even though registration is not required federally for active service dogs. He said that anyone could get a registration card that he didn't want the dogs in the restaurant. I didn't recognize him and I had been there a number of times before since it is close to my granddaughters' high school. He said that anyone could make up any reason and state they needed a service dog. I said service dogs are federally protected and allowed in public spaces. He jumped back as We walked in past him, many clients staring aghast at him as he angrily pointed to a booth and said loudly you have to sit there! I said I was going to sit with my family and restated loudly, my dog is a service dog and he is federally protected and allowed to be in here by law. The owner replied angrily NO he's NOT! Shaking, I went hurriedly to sit with my family who were all appalled by his attitude and behavior. The very kind waitress told us that she had looked it up and read the federal law about Service dogs and that I was right and he was wrong. She said, I really just want to know for myself, but, He was in the wrong. We heartily agreed. To comment on the food, Though we had been there before and it was way better. The food alone at this table On November 5 was terrible: sandwiches were dry and entrées were also dry and tasteless. But we will, of course, not be returning to the Loud Mouth on Nine. The Park Nine is the very definition of mediocre "diner food" - overflowing maximal portions undercut routinely by minimal flavor and/or careless preparation. With the exception of some basic breakfast dishes, their menu is "decent" with no outstanding specialties or signature dishes to recommend it. Their burgers are always charred with the expertise of a Witch Trial Inquisitor and if you want to venture into some of their more complicated (and pricier) entrees, my recommendation is to keep it simple. The "steaks" are tough with a side of tasteless and the carbon-dated flounder that I ordered on two occasions should have been followed by an autopsy. The recently remodeled venue has all the charm of an operating theater with extremely bright florescent lighting and loud acoustics.
