Wish I had read reviews before going here. THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF! Wanted an order to-go, they said they don't do take out orders. Wtf? 2 of 3 dishes were extremely salty. Food is grossly overpriced! Our bill seemed higher than expected & after reading previous reviews, I know now they tacked a 15% tip onto our bill without any notification or posted that information. Made special request to entrees, those were ignored. Could have been the language barrier. Place reeked of a strong cleaning agent or air freshener. It was over-powering & unpleasant. Would highly recommend NOT eating here. We went to Red Lotus the day before- it was way better food & way better service. If you are going to get ripped off with high prices, at least get food that's edible. read more

We should have known better. But we were hungry and it was literally steps from The Grizzly center. Kids orange chicken tasted pretty good. I got egg shell in my hot and sour soup. I was skeptical based on reviews, I was happy with the take out dishes until I got to the bottom of General Tso chicken container and found broccoli filler at the bottom. The restaurant was empty and they had several hours to closing. I was disappointed that they did that instead of fill the container as the prices are not cheap. read more

Be ware of the cashier girl cheating you for additional tip money!!! She caused a scene and tried to embarrass you so that you would run away without asking your change back!!! Not a chance! You are a disgrace to the Asian community! I had been meaning to write this review since our visit to Yellowstone during 2023 July 4th week. We visited Yellowstone with a Chinese tour company and tour bus dropped us off at this Park One Chinese restaurant for dinner. Never had such horrendous service before even for a Chinese restaurant. We had to get our own plates, utensils and waters. The cashier girl finally came and took our order with a lot of attitude after like 20 min of trying to get their attention. They were not even that busy. When the order came, all the dishes were very salty and didn't give us rice to eat with. When we asked for rice, she said they run out of rice and had no more for the day. She should have told us when she took our rice order along with the dishes. It was about an hour before they close and they were still allowing more people to come in and no more rice for the day? so we didn't have any rice to eat the salty dishes with, and instead of being apologetic, she was very blunt and rude about it too. The bill came and noticed that 15% gratuity was already added. We were fine to pay 15% tip despite their mediocre service and salty dishes. My aunt went to the cashier and paid the bill in cash which included the gratuity as they asked. Later, I heard that same cashier girl screaming at my aunt, causing a scene. All the customers were looking. I couldn't hear what my aunt was saying but the cashier girl was very loud and yelling. So I and my cousin went to the counter to check what was going on. She was still yelling at my aunt in Chinese (we are Asian but I don't understand Chinese). but later found out that my aunt asked for the change $15 back and the cashier girl was refusing to give it back and yelling and causing a scene. I didnt understand why she was causing a scene while she was the one trying to cheat more tip money out of my elderly aunt. May be she was hoping my aunt would feel embarrassed if she caused a scene and leave without taking the money. Not on our watch!! We got that $15 back from her!! I wished I checked the review before sitting in this place. There were many previous reviews warning the same thing! Cheating for more tip! Be sure to double check your bill and your change!! We do NOT recommend this place at all! Stay away! Their food is definitely NOT worth the anger and frustration, ruining your vacation experience! These people don't care because it's a one-time interaction with the customers since it's a tourist town. I am also upset at Chinese tour bus who dropped us off here. The two of us ordered entrees with rice and our meals came out in three parts after another 30 minutes. Came here to satisfy a craving for Chinese food, and didn't exactly leave satisfied. When we first entered, the staff was very quick to accommodate us around the Chinese tour buses, and even offered to switch our tables for us to a better location once one opened up. The food came out relatively quickly, and they were quick to fix any complaints about the food. Interestingly enough, they have an entire page of just "American" food ranging from burgers to steak. I guess that helps them live up to the name. Ordered the green beans, kung pao chicken, one of their meat chef specialties, beef and broccoli, a fish and tofu dish, and tofu and vegetable soup. The green beans were alright, but we thought a lot of the dishes were too salty. The flavors were also not exactly Chinese - I guess they would go more along the lines of Chinese-American. Overall, we were not very impressed, but left with full stomachs nevertheless. On a side note, they do automatically tip 15%. Our bill came out to a little over $100 with their pre-added tip. Each dish was roughly $14-16, which is quite expensive, but you can't expect anything else in a small town where special ingredients may be hard to come by. Like most Asian restaurants in smaller towns, tea and white rice are not free. read more

I agree with the other reviewers on here that it is would be unfortunate for this restaurant to include a 15% tip in the bill if the quality of the food and service are mediocre; however, I did not have a poor experience with service like other reviewers are claiming. Unfortunately, I still would not recommend stopping in here if you are visiting Yellowstone. My fiancée and I went into this place during our trip to Yellowstone and were expecting some great local Asian food, but we were quite disappointed. In my opinion the prices are absurd for the entrées and the food isn't even that good. In fact, we had some soups that I have to say were quite terrible. The fried rice was just ok, but the Szechuan pork was actually quite good; it's the one thing we tried while there that I would recommend. Yes, we tried Chinese food in West Yellowstone. All the Yelp reviews had warned me ahead of time that they were going to be terrible, but once you have a craving, it's hard to satisfy. I chose this Chinese restaurant because it seemed to have the fewest one-star reviews. While the bok choy and the stir fried green beans were pretty authentic, everything is indeed overpriced and most likely drowning in MSG. The fried rice did not have a ton of flavor to it, and the chicken in the chicken with broccoli tasted like nothing. Given the other warnings on Yelp, we paid particularly close attention to the bill when it came out. We were not charged anything extra, but probably because we didn't have any tea or any white rice. But, yes, they do include a 15% tip that they do not tell you about when the check is presented. read more

My extended family went to this place the night before we went here so it had to be good. Right? They loved it, I didn't like it at all. Very standard tastes for their food. Nothing too unique. Around 60% of the food was eaten. We have a child and they don't really have a kids menu. The meals are big and should be shared. The pot stickers were really good. Ordered chicken in garlic sauce, and vegetable lo mean. Garlic sauce tasted like ketchup and hot peppers and bland at the same time. Lo me in was just ok. We were visitors to town and many choices. I understand Park One is still new. The menu features a wide selection of dishes for many tastes. They have "American" Chinese food with which most Americans will be familiar, e.g. everything from sweet and sour to Szechuan. They have some more authentic Chinese dishes as well, though if you don't read Chinese you'll have to ask for a translation. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was well prepared and hot. The layout of the restaurant is not very cozy or intimate but great for large groups. The biggest downside is that it's a bit pricey for this type of food, averaging around $15-17 for an entree. But, that may be typical for this touristy town. read more

I was here pretty recently while on a vacation to Yellowstone, and needed a good dinner spot that was open late. Park One seemed to be a good choice based on their reviews. However, I was unpleasantly surprised by the poor quality of the food and unreasonably high prices. I am usually a big fan of Chinese food, which I eat at least once every 2 weeks from various restaurants. But this restaurant was BY FAR the worst. I ordered a chicken fried rice and my partner ordered a sesame chicken, which we shared. Both were absolutely terrible. The chicken in the fried rice looked fake with a white and rubbery texture, let alone tasted like it was processed. There was no way that it was not processed. The fried rice overall was bland, so much that even drenching my dish in salt and chili oil did not mask the flavor. The sesame chicken was probably worst. The texture of the sauce was extremely thick and goo-ey, and the chicken also tasted processed and fake. However, my partner did find a huge bone in one of the pieces, which I guess verifies that there is SOME chicken in it. I was genuinely excited to try this place out, considering it is pretty new. But in all honesty, I would not recommend this place to anyone (and I never say that). It is a waste of money given its overpriced menu items, and you will probably not get enjoy the rubbery taste of their chicken or blandness of the items. Save your money and go elsewhere! read more

We should be more realistic with getting any Chinese food in a tourist town like this. The reviews that raved it's 'authentic' must have a different standard altogether (I doubt what kind 'authentic' Chinese food had they eaten- just because you ate 'Chinese take out' or Panda Express all your life which set your palette for Asian food doesn't make that authentic). We ordered the family special $18.99/ person for a family of 4 (2 kids). You can choose to order 2 or 3 or 4 persons share. We ordered 3 x $18.99 and had leftovers. The generous portions were American, the cooking flavoring American; nothing Asian about it. All 3 entrees were very salty (msg loaded ?) and saucy. This is considered 'tasty' by American standards. If you are used to the typical 'general tso' ' sweet and sour' type dishes you'd think this is great. I'm not faulting the restaurant and have no doubt the Chinese chef can whip up real Chinese food (I'm 100% certain the family or workers weren't eating anything on the menu when we saw them having dinner). They are prob serving the what pleases the crowd here. So, if you expect authentic Chinese food you'd be massively disappointed. Otherwise, you'll be fine. If you are craving for something that can't go wrong - get their Chinese egg fried rice. Also note, their prices are much higher than other Chinese restaurants- just had a look at similar family meal in the other restaurant in town (Chinatown), it's much less for same offering. And they slammed a 15% tip on our final bill. We asked them to adjust it which the server did without any grudge. Btw, the restroom isn't that bad. If you use bathrooms at gas stations, you can do this. read more
