This company will charge you thousands of dollars more than what you should be paying. They have installed a tankless water heater (one that you can buy for $1K!) in my aunt's house for $9500. They came by to do a "routine inspection" to "flush it" just three months later. They will make up reasons to come to your house and charge you hundreds and thousands of dollars. On the day of the appointment we received both a phone call and a message with a tracking application for our technicians progress. I will never use Parker & Sons again. We had a flood light attached to our shed that didn't work from the day we moved in. I ended up purchasing a Ring Floodlight to replace it with and called Parker & Sons to check to make sure there was power to the unit. The guy came and was friendly, but he didn't do anything. He helped me with the breaker box, but when I asked him to check for power to the unit, the "free visual estimate" went right out the window. I should have known that would happen when I kept being asked if I wanted "HVAC Service" despite specifically calling for electric. Additionally, when I called to confirm my appointment, they initially had me down for a completely wrong service. I ended up paying for him to basically use a pen and tell me I had power to the unit. To install the Ring Floodlight, he wanted $100 more. I said I would do it myself and picked up a pen to check for power myself. Guess what? No power. I installed everything myself and confirmed I actually didn't have power going to the unit. A deeper inspection inside the shed shows one of the ground wires wasn't even connected. What did I pay for then? I feel ripped off. They were going to send him back out for free on Monday, but I told them not to bother. A company that cared about the customer would have offered a refund since the customer literally did more work than their technician did. But I was never offered that. The work they done was adequate, they will show up on time, but the cost was extremely high. I just had the technician Paul Meyers from Parker and sons leave my home. I had a circuit breaker that was tripping and I didn't know why. I suspected it was an outside light. He gave me a quote of $410 to trouble shoot the problem. He removed 2 outlets. The second one attached to the light I suspected to be the problem. He pulled the light down and that corrected the problem. He was at my home no more than 30 minutes. Including the estimate. He did the "trouble shooting" for less than 10 minutes. He did not replace not one part. At this rate....he's making $820 per our...WHAT A COMPLETE RIP OFF!!! read more

Now I understand why soooo many people have harped on us about Parker & Sons for the past 8 years! This is the first time in 8 years that I have truly had such poor customer service and lack of empathy from this company. I do have to say I am still in disbelief! I work for a company that ranks in the top 100 of Fortune 500 companies and I am appalled at the lack of empathy from these people. If we ever treated our customers the way my fiance and I were treated over the weekend by Parker & Sons I wouldn't have a job. Let's not forget if it wasn't for your customers paying your ungodly prices you wouldn't have a job!! So let me first start by saying we purchased a new AC unit 8 years ago, 2 weeks after moving into our home.  We did purchase a top of the line AC because we have a fairly decent size house along with pets and in the AZ summer we weren't going to take any chances. We ended up paying cash for the unit because they gave us a discount by doing so. I would say for the last 3 years, every single year the AC has went out. It has always been the same issue every time, the capacitor which has always been a easy fix. (20 min job). You would think with a new AC this wouldnt happen but every time we have called Parker & Sons they have always come out the same day within a couple of hours. So here we are again, summerr has begun and what do you know the AC goes out. I texted my fiance to let him know and he says he will call Parker. He walks in the house with this horrific look on his face and tells me the girl on the phone says they cant come out until Monday. I was like NO, this isnt going to work. I talk to Danielle who tells me they are busy, dont have enough people and tells me she will put a call into the supervisor. An hour goes by it is now 80 degrees in my home.  No call. My fiance calls back and is now told they are closed even though their website says 24 hours. He is told the soonest they have is Monday and to go online and schedule a apt. He then says NO it's an emergency and we called and a supervisor is suppose to call us back and hasnt, she still says to go online and schedule an apt because they are closed. I call back speak with the answering service, explain the situation all over again and she tells me there is no request in the system for a supervisor to contact us. She puts the request in. So probably 2 hours later a supervisor, Kenny calls back and basically tells my fiance you dont matter, there isnt any apts available until Monday and to go to a hotel!. I take the phone and explain to him the situation. I know what the problem is, it's the same problem they have fixed the last 3 times, it's a 20 min job, we have been a customer for 8 years, pay yearly service fees for electric, ac and plumbing, paid 10k for a ac unit that breaks every year and we dont matter? Plus I have my moms  elederly pets that passed 5 months ago and you cant get off your ass and come fix it? I am happy to say we will be cancelling all our services with them! What has happened to customer service? It is gone folks!! Do not waste your hard earned money on this company!! Whether you are a long time customer or a new customer you will never matter. Parker & Sons saved us! We bought a home last summer and have had all sorts of (undisclosed) plumbing and sewer problems. I won't get into the gross, nasty details, but Eric, Dean, Z, & Casey really took care of it all. They unclogged two toilets, ran cameras, douched our sewer lines (they called it something else), replaced three toilets, and put in a new sewer line from the back addition to connect with the main line, all for considerably less than a previous quote I had. I was worried that "The Big Dig" might take a week and I'd have no toilet for a day or two, but they assured me they could have it done in three days, with my bathroom water off for only a couple hours while they reconnected the new pipes. They ended up doing it in just two days, as they had enough team members to send extra help. They REALLY came through, and I am SO grateful to be able to finally flush TP down my toilet. (First world problems, lol.) I'm happy to see by their website that they also do HVAC, and all sorts of other things. As a FTHO, I will absolutely use their services again and highly recommend them. Received a quote for a new AC unit thru the costco plan. I was told they would arrive at 7ish am and they would be done at 5pm at the latest. It is now 9:30pm and I dont see them finishing up this ac unit anytime soon. It was 110 today and I have been sitting here in the sweltering heat. No communication from the company. Definitely do not use if you are elderly or have any health conditions. Also if you single and dont want workers at your house thru the night dont use. Update. 10:45pm. Ac installation still not completely but after 3hrs they said a supervisor is coming. It is still 96 degrees outside. Probably hotter inside my house. Final outcome AC installed at 2am. We work and get before 6am. After 11pm someone else came to our house to help. I feel for those guys that worked a 20 hours straight. I can honestly say these guys are the best! One month ago my AC went out and I had another company who wanted to charge me several thousand dollars for new compressor. I got a second opinion with Parker and Sons. They told me everything was fine, that I needed to let it thaw out because it had iced up and not to run it so cold. They left and the Ac was working perfectly and they charged me NOTHING! Last week I had a random flood in my kitchen! It happened at night on a Sunday! I was running around freaking out as how to make it stop. I figured it out temporarily and I called Parker and Son's and they sent out a Technician (Christian) right then. He showed up at 11 pm on a Sunday night. He looked around to make sure things were shut down properly and made me an appt for early Monday morning. He assured me that everything would be ok until then. So I was able to sleep and not worry:) Monday morning a different Technician (Josh) showed up Early and spent several hours evaluating the situation and finding where the leaks were. He was so professional and nice. My house was A big mess and he just happily worked around it all. He ended up finding several problems and changed out some parts on my water heater and other things. He made arrangements for a restoration company to come out to fix my cabinets etc from damage and set up appt with Christian to come out and fix my pipes. Friday came and Christian showed up early. He re-evaluated the situation and explained what he was gonna do and how he would do it. He spent many hours fixing my kitchen pipes. Made several holes in the wall and Ceiling and fixed the pipes in several places. He covered everything with plastic before he started so it would stay clean and nice. And after he finished he cleaned up his mess and showed me everything and explained so I knew what was done and where the problems were. I am extremely impressed with Parker and Sons. They were honest, dependable, reassuring, and professional. The job is not completely done yet, but it will be soon. They were reasonable in prices. And I wouldn't call anyone else again. Well, after the last few years of crossing our fingers that the A/C and heat would work each season it gave in after 24 years. We had used Parker and sons for small plumbing issues and were happy with the service. They setup a service call and determined that it was done. We scheduled the new unit to be installed in a few days. I then received a call that the unit we wanted wasn't available for awhile. They offered to upgrade to a more expensive unit for the same quoted price, and not have us wait. This is the sign of a quality company. Install day came, Austin was on time, and went over everything that was going to happen, answered my questions. Austin, Axel, and Anthony were very professional and courteous. They installed a new AC and ductwork for me last summer. They forgot a vent and quickly came out to replace it. They damaged a board on my floor and said they didn't think it was their fault. The "manager" asked me if I thought he was lying. I never got a receipt, no floor repair, ducts not sealed all the way. I also had new insulation sprayed in my attic and I asked one of the guys if he thought I was getting a good deal, he said he usually would do a house my size for a thousand less. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Next time I have any work done in my home I will surely have a camera installed. read more

Oh my. Just as important as heat in the winter for our Northern climes, so is air conditioning in Phoenix. Today was around 109°. All was fine until about 4 pm when things started getting warm at 79 degrees inside. We turned on all the ceiling fans. I quickly called Parker and Sons who dispatched William immediately. Forty-five minutes later at 81 degrees William arrived. Within 20 minutes he had identified the problem and in another 15 min. had replaced the failed capacitor which caused the outage. The technician advised that the low voltage wire from the heat pump located on the roof to the thermostat location in the house needed replacing, a total distance of less than 20 feet. Job was completed in less than an hour and I was charged $1,143.90. When I disputed the charge I was advised that they are not a "time and materials company" and that's the charge. I'd like to start with, I wish I could've given them zero stars but, it made me give them one... I called at 8:30 AM this morning to schedule emergency service. They said they would come between two and six. after canceling my day at work, in the afternoon they called to say they were going to cancel. I told them that that wasn't going to work for me . There is a medical issues related to the plumbing issue. We need to have it fixed immediately !please, please keep me on the schedule. They said they'd come after six. after multiple calls and no plumber......at 9:50 PM I called again. the gentleman told me that they no longer answer calls after 10 pm , but the tech could still be coming up until midnight, but he could also be canceling at midnight! are you kidding me? You call this service! the gentleman on the phone was rude at best, and argumentative. I personally like the fact that he says his technicians don't carry a cell phone, so there's no way to reach them. Seriously, it's 2024,who doesn't have a cell phone besides your great grandma! Our AC quit cooling. Parker and sons was quick to respond. The first tech they sent out spent 1.5 hours and failed to determine the problem other than to say we "had a leak that was likely an expensive fix". Another tech came out, found the leak, pushed a new system on us, but when we refused sent a quote to plug leak for 3,500. We scheduled the fix and confirmed the date through text and email. They never showed as we took day off and waited our entire four hour window. They failed to show and call. When we reached them they simply said "sorry, we rescheduled for tomorrow". I told them to cancel and I never heard from Them again. They are scammers wanting to simply sell New units. I am thrilled they never showed as I found Clement Air who came out and bid the same job for 2600 and did not suggest a new unit . read more
