Oh I love them here! ! I wanted something different as party favors for my mom's retirement party celebration last Saturday. So I started googling and came across a picture from this site on pinterest. I immediately fell in awe at first sight. The site features several examples of their work...I was sold. I visited the website and browsed to see if I really wanted to order from here. But the reviews and the energy from the site, I felt this party favor would be a huge hit. The only dilemma was the delivery date. I needed these cookies in two weeks and my estimated delivery was about four days after the party. No way did I want the cookies after the party. See this is why it pays to read first before placing an order or going to plan B. Even though the delivery date wasn't in my range the site mentioned if you needed the cookies before then to call and see if rush request could be fulfilled. I called early on a weekday and the phone may have rung three times and a real live person answered. Granted I called on a Sunday night at first, but then I saw that this company is located in California and didn't have Sunday hours. And I'm on the east coast so I figured I'm pushing it by even making this rush request. So I'm on the phone with a lady and I explained to her the order has been placed but I need them about six days prior to the delivery date shown. She immediately said they could do it. Omg...I wanted to cry!!! I was super excited and even more certain that I made the right decision by choosing to order here. It took about three proofs before I was satisfied with the final sketch. And I must say the communication via email was superb!! They were on point and made sure I was 100% sure of the sketch. No lag time in communication at all...now this was a perfect example of OTT (over the top) customer service! ! I received confirmation via email on when the cookies would be baked and shipped. This process occurs on the same date to ensure freshness. They said the cookies would be shipped on the 14th from the start and indeed they were. I'm getting antsy... from a previous conversation I was told I would receive the cookies in about four days. Even though I received a tracking number day three was here and no cookies. But soon as I relaxed and remained calm, I received an email confirmation that the order was delivered. OMG I rushed home to see the package on my porch. Yay! !!! They said four days and it was just that. I received the cookies 48 hours in advance of the event...perrrrfect!! I did opt to receive the cookies as is and not wrapped just to save $$. And my oh my this was a job that lasted hours for one person. So I will suggest if you don't have at least 2 maybe 3 people wrapping these cookies (I ordered 150) this takes hours for one person. Oh and they included 18 additional cookies too...awwwwe! The cookies were packaged super tight and of the 168 cookies received NOT ONE COOKIE WAS BROKEN, CRACKED...package to perfection! ! So the party is here and everyone thought these cookies were too cute, funny and innovative! ! Yup that's what I was going for...a huge hit!! My mom hadn't even noticed them until someone pointed them out to her. I chose the already designed lady holding a sign. I asked for the sign to read "28" and all they did was sketch the face on the set design. However, there is an option to have the full pic as a custom cookie. And yes that costs more. But for the cost and the customer service received... THIS COMPANY IS LEEEEEGIT!!! The cookie wasn't like the best tasting cookie ever but it certainly isn't gross. It actually tastes like a healthy cookie and that's right up my alley. My nine year old that's a junk food princess didn't like the cookie, but that's the least bit of my concern. I didn't order hoping the cookie would taste great, but I ordered based on how super cute and different this would be for the party. So if anything I would love for the guests to not eat the cookie but save as a sentiment of my mom's retirement After 28 years of service. !o Please read if you have any intentions on engaging Parker's Crazy Cookies. Yes, there are two sides to every story but just give me a few minutes of your time. The idea to search for portrait cookies began when I saw beautiful COLOR portrait cookies (NOTE: NOT Parker's Cookies). I began searching for portrait cookies and came across Parker's Cookies. I contacted Dave Parker and placed order in mid Aug 2022. Our daughters wedding was not until Nov 26th 2022 in New Zealand. Dave stated not a problem with all of his experience shipping to diff countries etc. Well let me tell you the problem began in California. Two boxes were shipped and one box was lost in Cali. I notified Dave "Hey look into that as I don't see any movement in the tracking". Dave's thinking was oh the box is probably already in NZ no worries. He sat on this until I contacted him AGAIN! "Dave...still no movement and looks like box is still in Cali...Dave the wedding is Nov 26th. Sorry lost box you need to do something now! He contacts USPS and complains after having to wait for 30 mins. Right there will tell you how unprofessional he is! This is where I want to explain that he is totally hands on until something goes wrong It was all downhill. What he did after finally realizing the box was still NOT moving. He re-ships the same way and oh guess what the cookies DID NOT MAKE THE WEDDING!!! Which I explained to him if you DON'T expedite and spend unexpected company money to do the right thing. Surely you would think he covers these boxes with insurance especially what he charges? He should have done the right thing and expedited overnight! Yes, costly but it was not my fault that the box of cookies was still sitting somewhere in LA. I told him unless you expedite a replacement ASAP it will NOT make the wedding date in time. He has NO experience shipping into the countries that he claims he does. Dave's delayed actions to resolve the issue, especially knowing the date of the wedding event since Aug 2022 and his unprofessionalism should guide you to NOT do business with him. I spent well over $1000! I spent a lot for cookies and he should have done the right thing and expedite the cookies!! He knew the box he reshipped would NEVER make it on time to the event. I knew that as well and gave him a solution to help expedite the cookies. He refused to resolve even with me paying money out to help expedite. It apparently was costing him more money to 1. Reset the press, ship overnight to Planet Express a company that could have helped us get the cookies on time to the wedding. He would only ship one way how pathetic can a business owner be? Yes, this all sounds ridiculous for ONE lost box of cookies and exactly why I am sending out a review to make others aware of his TRUE COLORS!!! There are plenty of other companies that provide the same product and even better in colors. I spent a lot of money and sadly the cookies are so hard. He describes the cookies as animal cookies. They don't stay fresh! Maybe he eats hard cookies who knows. He does not SEAL the cookies and they should be! They tie a cheap very small ribbon that barely makes a bow. Dave is hands on and the reason for that is he wants every cent he can suck out of you! Any other business would have reshipped immediately by EXPEDITING. Dave had the order since Aug 2022. In fact, I placed two orders so we would have cookies here as well as New Zealand as there were many family and friends that could not attend. Now you be the judge and with all that money spent surely he made a huge profit already on my orders. That is NOT the way to treat your customers!!!
