Wow. Where to truly begin? To start, this place kept their old phone number from their old business, which also has horrific reviews. SO they changed their name to get away from all the previous reviews. Check mark on shady behavior. That should have been my first marker or alert. (Majority of their positive reviews here are not from real people, OR, they are the actual employees-teeth whitening photo). Maybe the "Do not record or take photos", should have been the next......or that the Receptionists having zero customer service should have been the third....but alas, I stayed. They're all chatting up front like it's high school. Thats fine, they're young, they're bored. I get it. But wow, when someone tries to talk to you, you don't disregard them and act like you're all of a sudden busy. Rude. I can see your screen. To get to the nitty gritty. The experience. First and foremost, I am being asked if I am single and have children by the D.A taking my X-rays. Why am I getting a full FMX, no idea. I was only there for a root canal evaluation. Ok, they tell me that they do this no matter what since I am a new PT and that insurance will always pay for a new PT X-rays wherever you go, so why not get the full one. Ok....maybe there was a misconnumication there. Unsure. But the real kicker is when Sharma walks in and is fully giving me grief about how my tooth got to this point. Like, how on earth I could do this to myself. Grilling me. Excuse me? What do you mean WHY, I am here to handle my tooth now. It does not matter WHY. It matters if YOU can fix it or not. I do not need to disclose to you that I was a captive and could not leave my home. I do not have to disclose my health issues to you and being disabled....I do not need to feel like a child. WOAH. Unacceptable. After a good 6 minutes of getting beef, he tells me, Mind you**** AFTER NOT INSPECTING MY MOUTH AT ALL***, that he needs to cut into my gum, that I need to pay out of pocket for this part, and that they are going to run my insurance for the rest. Excuse me? An exam in my mouth was not performed? X rays were taken. I know not ONE professional that doesn't look into their patients mouth. I felt 100% unsafe and unsure about this whole scenario. You know that feeling you get when something is really not right at all? So, what did I do? I made an appointment for weeks out and I contacted the University of Pacific in San Francisco and met with 3 Endodontists including their trainee Doctors. Here I will have several persons tell me what they think based on facts, X-rays and exams. Actually in my mouth. Drum roll please ----- What did they find? NOTHING LIKE Sharma said. Not a one single thing. I needed only a crown. THAT IS ALL. In fact, the root canal that I have is done so perfectly that it needn't be touch. Epic work. No cutting. No drama. OH, AND NO deep clean that they tried to pull on my insurance too, BY THE WAY. I discovered that. That was a fun surprise after I had already told them that I am not making this my primary, but only here for an evaluation of my current root canal that does not have a crown. I made that very clear. So, here, I have three supreme professionals that train real life Doctors...giving me the green light for just a crown. I tell them my experience here in Tracy. Lets just say I already contacted my insurance to ensure Parkway Dental does not further run my insurance, and also, I am reporting this "dentist" to the Dental Board as I have now been advised by several medical persons to do so. No one should ever have to go through this experience. I urge you, if you have a spidy sense that something if wrong here, YOU ARE RIGHT. Please do not feel gaslit. read more

DO NO COME TO THIS DENTAL FACILITY! I am not sure how this place is still up and running. Would not be surprised if the health department gets called on soon and reported for malpractice. The employees here seem to be family and that's why they were hired. They are very uneducated in the dental industry when I asked to explain what was going on. They would just lowered their voice and point at tools. They tried being nice knowing that the situation was getting a bit tense but it did not work. I was looking for dentist near me on yelp but strangely i could not find this office on the list but i knew about this office Since i live 5mins walk from This office. I saw some really bed reviews on yelp but i still ended up calling them after searching their number from Google as it was convenient for me to go there. MODEST and the BEST is what i would say about this office and the team. Although the office looks very average dental Office with minimal decor but they offer high class dental Care. Dr Sharma is at his excellence when it comes to knowledge and skills. They took excellent care while treating me and my mother. They are one stop office for all kind of dentistry. Normally other dental Offices refer you out to another person or office but at Parkway dental they do pretty much everything under one roof. I would highly recommend this office who are purely looking for a good dental care and not a fancy decors which many office does these days. read more

See if this isnt taken off. I had a good and BAD experience, the dentist did do my three of my filings and there was no problem. But then another day I came back and he did my right filling , but apparently over filled it, to where i couldnt floss. So I then went back , someone else attended my filing and they stuck something in between my tooth, and apparently broke it, which when i went home began to have LOTS of pain when i got home and could not bite down without pain. SO again i went back , and this time the dentist saw me and checked my tooth and said OH the filing is broken , Shheesh well the young girl that stuck something in between my tooth did it. Highly Recommend! The staff here are incredibly nice and friendly, and the entire environment is calm, welcoming, and pain-free. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable during my visit. Before doing anything, they clearly explained every step, which really helped ease my anxiety. I'm terrified of shots, but this was completely pain-free and over in seconds! They genuinely care about their patients--constantly checking in to make sure I was okay and doing everything they could to help me feel at ease. To sum up everything receptionist not experienced not knowledgeable makes a lot of mistakes. Manager says sorry but then tries to put the blame back on you doesn't just take accountability and do better. Senior Dentist short tempered. Not good with kids OTHER than Dr. Cheng he is an amazing person. 0 stars overall okay maybe one star only because Dr. Cheng. This review is based on my fiance experience so you cannot deny oh you don't recognize the name. I'm the one who convinced her to finally speak up because you all should be ashamed of yourselves. And look how one guy below says Dr. Sharma is confrontational we seen most definitely he has anger issues when he yelled at her aunt. If he dare calls my fiance and yells at her or threats better believe we will be calling the cops and file a harassment report ASAP. 11/26/25 10:25 am Update I get a private message from Dr. Sharma demanding I take my review down. Why? It's a personal experience, and honesty. How is that respectful especially coming from a medical professional. The fact you keep trying to argue with someone who only provided an experience they went through shows how unprofessional your establishment is and you say only my side when I showed proof on Google and your side of the story is a whole different patient so how is it only one side of the story if anything your telling on yourself. I literally show proof that your receptionist put in for tooth #18 but look how you even admit in an email it's for tooth # 14 & #19 not #18 AND you say he in the email but for some reason you still don't tell your side of the story of how you got us mixed up with another patient that was a "she" seen on a Saturday appointment. Embarrassing to think this is what dental care has come to. The main Dentist (sharma) is a scam artist. He gets defensive when you question him and talks like a babbling child when he gets caught in his lies. He will recommend anything that will get him the most money from your insurance. A weasel! The other people who work here, although kind, don't know much of what they're doing either. Every answer is I don't know I'll get back to you. And they do not get back to you. The front desk ladies said everything is covered with your insurance and they could start the work immediately, but then the weasel dentist says we need to pull your insurance and then schedule the appt. So which meant he wanted to see what benefits I had left so he can charge the insurance with what he can get away with. I told them I wasn't here to start any work I wanted to see what your dentist would say what the issue is as I was definitely going to another dentist to confirm this work- and when I did - the next two dentists said he was clearly trying to milk the insurance coverage. The worst of this horrible visit, he has the nerve to ask for a review. Ohhhhh you got the review! lol plus still waiting on the medical records I requested - just know after this comment - he and his dental office are getting reported to the dental board too. We had the worst dental office experience I've ever seen. Back story: my brother went in for an appointment a month ago by himself (I was unable to go with him) and he felt pressured into accepting a treatment he wasn't exactly sure about. They helped him sign up for a credit. (This is something I had no prior knowledge of. Also it should be noted that he is only 19 and doesn't even drive. He lives with me and my fiancé because he is young and trying to learn how to be an adult. He works a crappy minimum wage job, bringing in basically crap income.) After I spoke with him I could clearly see he was stressing about how he was supposed to pay for this treatment. He decided to call the office the day off his appointment and canceled everything. He never rendered any services and the front desk advised him that everything was canceled and he would not be charged. Fast forward to now. He has been receiving messages from "Cherry" (this is the credit company who they had him sign up for) saying that he owed over $130 for payment of his supposed treatment. (Again, never rendered any services because he was under the impression everything was canceled). So, I took matters into my own hands and called the office yesterday in the afternoon. The person i spoke with said that they would call us back in 30 minutes. Never received a call. I ended up calling them close to EOD. They advised me that they are unable to cancel and process refunds and that we have to contact Cherry. I was confused and asked them who is cherry? (Me thinking its a person). They gave me Cherrys info. I called Cherry and by the time I called them they were already closed. (Also important info, the payment was due yesterday which is why I was trying to dispute it before they took the payment the next day) This morning they took the payment from his account. I called Cherry to request a refund and they said we have to do a dispute process and provide supporting documentation. So, as I'm working on the dispute form with my brother it says that we need all kinds of documentation. By this time I had had enough of all this run around and we decided to go into the office in person (and this is where everything goes downhill) We go inside and tell the front desk about everything that's been going on and that we need documentation for proof of him not receiving any treatment. They had us wait. During this time the Dr was already arguing with a different patient. I could forsee us getting the same tone. When they finally got around to us, the doctor came up and asked why he was cancelling it. I explained to the doctor that my brother is still a very young adult and can't afford the treatment. I explained he had already called their office the day of his appointment a month ago to cancel and we were informed everything was canceled. And that he would not be charged anything. He said to us, why didnt you show up for your treatment? Again, advised him that we were under the impression everything was canceled. He then asked us why didnt we come in person to cancel? We said, we were never told to come in person and were never informed of that policy. He proceeded to talk to me in a very rude tone. He implied that it was our fault that my brother got charged and talked to us as if we should have known that we had to come in person to cancel. As if we should have know to contact Cherry. As if we should have known that the front desk was the wrong person to talk to. As if we should have known all their policies and procedures. And as if we were entirely wrong about everything. I stopped him in his tracks and said no, this is your office's fault. This is something that the front desk person should have said "hold on one moment, let me get the Dr's help with this matter because im unsure" if you don't know for certain the process of something, ASK FOR HELP. The payment was taken from his account. We had already canceled the treatment. He never was seen for a treatment. We were advised it was canceled. We were advised there would be no payment taken from his account. The office lied to us saying that they couldn't help us to get a refund. In my opinion of my own experience with this office, they lied to us or horribly miscommunicated. His tone was extremely rude, condescending, unforgivable, inexcusable, offensive, and insulting.. We will not be getting seen by this particular dr at this office again. Thank you for showing us your true colors. If you are interested in being seen by this office I can only recommend Dr. Chang (sorry if its misspelled) He is a wonderful person and does great work. Dr. Cheng I hope that you can find a different office because this place SUCKS and I would love to continue getting treatment done by you. Ok this place was handed down from one dentist to another. It seems like every year or so it changes ownership. You would think they would clean before taking over but NOT!! Their pets are out and about here also cobwebs are up the whole year! I understand if it's Halloween but it's not it's been up since June! Come on now.
