    Tortiglioni with bison ragu
    Selina H.

Amazing al dente pasta!! The pasta was actually al dente and there is so much flavor. The bison ragu was delicious, though it just tasted like beef. The portions look small at first but it is very filling. There isn't much seating at the restaurant but there are more chairs and tables on other floors of the same building.

Tucked away in Pike Place market is this pasta place and is a hidden gem if you're around in the area. The place can get pretty busy so plan accordingly. Tried the pomodoro with chilli oil and it was delicious. They also have enough seating and is a nice place to get some good food and spend time with your friends.

Pastas are excellent a bit pricey and may be it's normal for the city since we were visiting. The seating is limited but there's common seating downstairs for various restaurants in the location.

I am so glad my friend recommended this place to us and took us here for lunch! It was absolutely delicious. It's in one of the back corners of the market building, doesn't have much seating but we didn't have to wait long for a table after ordering at the counter. I ordered the lasagna (a white lasagna) and my friends ordered the lamb ragu and the special (linguine with scallops and artichoke hearts). We all thoroughly enjoyed our pasta, it was easy to tell it was handmade with care. I'll be daydreaming about it until the next time I'm in Seattle!

Nice place to go if you work downtown but not actually that cheap for lunch! Good food but nothing special. Food gets made pretty quickly tho! You can sit there or take your food to go and eat it by the pier!

Delicious fresh pasta at pike place! their service was quick and ambience was buzzing. I would definitely recommend this spot!!

Cute little spot in the market been wanting to try this place forever and it did not disappoint! I think they have a weekly rotating menu- I tried the "from the ocean" special with scallops and it was sooo good! Portion size was reasonable as well. The space is small with a few tables but there is a courtyard with more tables downstairs & it's a great spot to enjoy your pasta & people watch!

This place has been in my bookmark for awhile and finally got to try it. It's not hard to find but got confused a bit to find it at the beginning. There weren't a lot of people that day, we had the whole place to ourselves. The guy who took our order had so much patience to explain each pasta. I got the from the sea and my husband got Pomodoro. I really liked my husband's pasta and it was so fresh! It cooked al dente and the pasta sauce seasoned so perfectly. My husband never a huge fan of al dente and he loved this place so much! He still talking about this place and won't stop talking about it. Mine of the other hand was okay; the taste is kinda odd to me, and it's kinda too salty for my liking. The fish were so small, like tiny pieces, I wish its bigger. My personal favorite of my dish is the Al dente part and the pea vine. Other than that mine was meh. The whole place is sooo cute and definitely a cute date spot!!!

Many friends have recommended this place as having the best pasta in Seattle to me, so its safe to say my expectations were very high going into it. The menu is very small and simple, I recommend checking it online before coming since they usually only have one "spike" dish that stands out and is special. If that dish doesn't particularly stand out to you and you don't feel like spending $20+ on basic pasta then you're out of luck. The pasta itself is very good! Good texture on the noodles, the flavors were very mild but fresh and organic. I really liked the inclusion of various nuts as it added complexity to the flavor and textures, I've since added sunflower seeds to my own pasta recipes. All in all, I think it is actually worth the medium-high cost for a first experience and the pasta does feel higher quality. It reminds me of Tavolata

I didn't know about this place until a friend had recommended we meet here for lunch. We went on a Sunday and I will say there is limited seating, but luckily there's courtyard on the base floor of available seating. They have a menu of 5 items. 3 of which are rotating and the other 2 are year round. Everything is made to order and the pasta is al dente. I think the pasta quality is great and the flavors meld together well. Nothing is overwhelmingly to the palate. Got two dishes. -From the farm Rigatoni all'amatriciana / Rigatoni with guanciale, pomodoro, chili flakes, pecorino :I love the guanciale and wish there were more of it in there. Had to savor/ration it From the garden Spaghettoni con pure' di rape rosse, burrata, olio al peperoncino calabrese / Spaghettoni with red beet puree, burrata, Calabrian chili oil :the chilies did have a good spice that ramp up. Not overly spicy It will leave you feeling full. Overall sentiment. If someone asked for a pasta rec. This place would be included. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This place is overhyped AF! I visited due to all the glowing reviews but the "From the Farm" pasta I got was extremely salty. I know they have a rotating menu so maybe I just came on an off week, but man, I couldn't even finish my dish because it was literally pure salt. The texture of the pasta was good though. Past Casalinga is in Pike Place Market, so seating is hard to come by and the place is very crowded with narrow space all-around.

Good god was this the best pasta ever. I had heard a lot about this place before visiting Pike Place Market and decided to check it out. We got the pomodoro and it came with radiatori pasta. It may sound or look simple but it was simply spectacular. The pasta texture was too good, you could tell it was homemade. The sauce was so flavorful and bright! The cheese on top added an awesome saltiness. It was EVERYTHING you'd ever want in a pasta. There was a bit of a line and wait, but I'd wait for hours to have this again. AMAZING!!!!!!

Love this place so much. They close early, but the pasta is always so interesting and delicious. They switch up the menu every week which keeps things exciting. I usually like the From The Farm.

Nice small focused pasta only menu. Pasta is fresh, sauce is good! It's pretty crowded but that seems to add to the authenticity.

Happily, it delivered! We split the porchetta sandwich, which was quite tasty. Now, I will say it is not quite at the gold-standard level of the porchetta sandwich from the Roli Roti truck in San Francisco, but that is an extremely high bar. The bread here was fantastic, and the sandwich itself was full of flavor. The inside is cute, and watching two guys dedicate their lives to making sandwiches in the open kitchen is part of the fun... I also spotted a tray coming out of the oven that looked like thick, PERFECTLY crispy bacon, - so whatever sandwich that was going into is definitely what I'm ordering if I ever get here again. One warning, though: I hate the chairs. I am not a skinny person, and these chairs are just uncomfortable. There, I said it. Great sandwiches, fun little spot, and I would absolutely come back. Just please, someone, rethink those chairs!

The interior is cozy and old world city vibes. Not a ton of seating and it can take a bit for getting your sandwich. It took 30-40 minutes to get our sandwiches at lunch time. After we already had waited in line. There was a line out the door when we got there. You order on a tablet and several people in front of us were quite slow ordering and it made the line take awhile. We waited at least 10-15 minutes in the line. They have an order ahead option I would utilize next time. The seasonal soup was kale and potato. It was very bland and watery. I wouldn't get it again. The bread was tough and chewy. You definitely get a jaw workout. Both of the warm sandwiches could have used a side of Au jus to soften the bread. The meat looks generous, but they do the sandwich trick. You fold the meat in the middle to make it look generous. But the ends are basically devoid of meat. Maybe a sliver. Flavors were really good. The mustard on the Cubano had a nice kick. Porchetta had a kick from the chimichurri and pickled peppers. Both were a little spicy and my son didn't love it so we ordered him a cold ham sandwich without the mustard. The cold meats are high quality as well, but definitely a little plain compared to the warm sandwiches. Overall 5/10 experience though. More evenly distributed meat and softer bread it would be A solid 10/10.

I love gawking at the various sundries and specialty items available especially the chocolates, spices, sauces, olive oils, pasta, ad naseum. Just wander along each aisle, you'll understand and be inspired. Also, what an expansive meat and cheese case with knowledgeable staff for your charcuterie needs! Upstairs you can find a decent selection of wine and spirits and an apertivo spot to have a glass and a bite. I was full from my pasta bowl at nearby Pasta Casalinga, but was eyeing the charcuterie cone. Imagine tasty nibbles to snack on while wandering the rest of the market. Back on the main floor towards 1st Avenue, there's a busy espresso bar and where one can get an Italian panini or pizza slices to go. Highly recommended while at Pike Place Market. Buon Appetito!
