I don't know if this was particular to the meal I ordered, or the fact that it was for take out, but this was such a meager portion to receive. The quality of the food is really good and the customer service was satisfactory, but the portion is far too small to even be considered a meal. DO NOT EAT HERE. They forgot to put meatballs on my wife's angel hair pasta (how do you forget the protein on a pasta? Inexcusable). I gave them a call and the manager, instead of refunding us or delivering the meatballs, just said they would give us free meatballs next time. Terrible service and bad food. The food was really good, nothing to complain about there. We ordered curbside since I had kids with me and the weather was so hot. Text communication and use of website was easy. I followed instructions when I got there and texted 1 for them to bring out food. They didn't come. So I went inside. The Hostess? Who greeted me asked me how many I told her I had curbside. There was a lady at the bar who said, you do curbside? The hostess tells her, no to go.. I took my food and when I turned the corner out of the hostess sight I heard her tell the woman at the bar.. it's too hot outside I am not taking her curbside out. I was in shock and sad I tipped when I ordered... if it's too hot then say it on your site but I hope a manager reads this and teaches his/her employees some customer service skills. read more

I don't know what to say, except this is nothing special and in the time it takes to boil a pot of noodles and dump a jar of sauce on them you could have the equivalent meal. I ordered the cheese tortellini with marinara sauce and fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms and artichokes both of the dishes were incredibly salty. The marinara sauce had a bite to it/a tang that shouldn't be in a traditional marinara sauce. Don't get me wrong the sauces weren't bad, they just weren't homemade. If they were homemade someone needs another recipe because in the future I will just pick up some frozen fettuccine Alfredo at Trader Joe's or Costco, same with the cheese tortellini and choose my favorite jarred sauce. I ordered dinner tonight off of DoorDash and my pizza that was burnt and hard as a rock and cold, my pasta was so extremely overcooked that it turned to mush when touched, there was no chicken On my chicken Alfredo, I spent $40 for portion sizes for a child and everything was flavorless, and my pasta bowls were crushed and spilt all inside the bag. read more

Nothing special, good when you're on the way home and don't want to cook. Pasta is fine and tasted good, there are simply no frills and sadly no passion. The staff seems to be working by the hour and doing precisely what they were told to do. Maybe if the owner is here and loves what they're doing they're might be a warmer "vib." The best place in Redding for Italian food, way better than Olive Garden taste wise and price wise. The owners are friendly and treat you like family as soon as you walk through the door! Checked this place out because it seemed highly rated on yelp. I wasn't impressed. I got take out, so I can't speak to the service, but I wasn't impressed with the interior. Food was pretty bland, and the portions are fine, but the fact that they put them in HUGE containers makes it look like they skimped on the pasta. Salad was not bad and a good value. I will not give it 5 stars so I do not raise expectations too much. I think this place has very flavorful pasta dishes ala that place with olive in the name. But I think this place has better tasting pasta - with more flavor and the prices are more reasonable. This is definitely more fast casual than casual. I also have read that the staff is not friendly- this has never been the case when I have been there. I think they try hard to make sure that you are taken care of but there is definitely not a "wait staff". I really like the pasta carbonara and the fettuccini.
