Came here on a saturday with four other friends. Wait time wasn't too bad, about 20 minutes. Nice lively vibe, super friendly staff, great food. I got the breakfast tacos and enjoyed them. Tried some of my friend's chilaquiles and was a big fan of those as well. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for brunch in the area!

Stopped in for breakfast on a Monday and feel like we got lucky that it wasn't crowded. If you've been sleeping on this place you've made mistakes. My food was fresh, quickly prepared and super tasty. The atmosphere feels like a true neighborhood family diner space and I really liked that vibe. It's not overdone and the bathroom was cute and clean (which is important to me!)

My friends and I came here looking for a spot to eat last minute, but honestly I am so glad we ended up coming here on a whim! Immediately as we walked in, the service was great. The staff members were attentive and friendly the entire time we were there, constantly checking in and making small talk to us. We definitely felt very welcomed and acknowledged since the start. The restaurant itself was so cozy and "home" feeling. Everything was just so vibrant and colorful as well, making you feel very welcomed by the decorations and style of the restaurant. The food was amazing. We all got different items, but my meal in particular was the crepes. They were the pecan + banana + dark chocolate crepes, and they tasted delicious. It wasn't too sweet, and the pecans added a nice touch as well. While my friends got more savory options, they also said that they really enjoyed their meals (molletos + chicken and waffles were their meals) I will definitely be coming back to try some of their other options, but overall this place is definitely worth it, and you will be paying a reasonable price for some good quality homemade fusion food!

I kid you not these were best breakfast tacos of my life (and I've been to Texas). And the chilaquiles were some of the best I've had stateside. I will no longer say chicago doesn't have good Mexican food after coming here. Unfortunately the cafe de olla was a bit disappointing. But the horchata was bomb. Also they were super accommodating. We were eating outside but there were tons of bees so they let us move inside with our baby. They made room for our car seat and allowed us to store our stroller in the back.

I came here for breakfast on my birthday and it was a good decision. I was with my husband and my two picky eaters 14 and 10. They wanted a more traditional American breakfast so they split the Hungry Man special. Prices were very good for the quality, portions were generous, and we will be back!

Finally tried this place for brunch on a Sunday morning. Even though we arrived at 10 a.m. we had to wait half an hour to be seated, although we were initially told the wait was only 10 minutes. There were some crumbs on my chair and some sticky stuff on my friend's chair, which wasn't great. The menu is extensive. Service was friendly, though maybe a tad slow. I got the strawberry orange juice (good and I loved the straw), blueberry pancakes (very good), and a side of sausage (also very good). The value was great considering what we had. I would go back here again but can't say it's worth a half-hour wait. I mean the pancakes were good but not life-changing.

I got the Hungry Man - two eggs, bacon, sausage, house potatoes, two pancakes upgraded with cinnamon brown sugar and icing. Friends got Hawaiian roll breakfast slides and eggs Benedict. For the most part, our food was standard diner quality breakfast food which is not a bad thing. Potatoes were soft but not seasoned enough. I don't recommend the Cinnamon bun pancakes. The icing was not even icing. It was a strange, grainy, bland sauce. Service was good. Waiter very nice and engaging. Their prices are very reasonable and probably a dollar or two cheaper than most breakfast places

    Cinnamon pancakes and chorizo tacos.

Um YES! Best corn tortilla I've ever had (and I lived in Austin). Cinnamon bun pancakes were delicious with and without the topping. We. Also loved the chorizo tacos. We were standing in an endless line down the block and finally said let's try Pastores and so glad we did. Extra points for the very warm welcome compared to the pricier, slower place down the block.

Delicious conchas, an avocado cucumber smoothie, and some amazing cafe de olla!

I have never been disappointed. This is a great place to visit whenever you are in Lincoln Square. My go-to's are the cucumber avocado kale smoothie and the chicken panini. Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful.

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

They also have a patio, and with the weather being nice, it was easy to just sit outside and relax for a while. I was honestly too hungry to spend much time deciding, so I just ordered one of the sourdough donut ball. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The outside had a light coating of sugar that gave it just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. Once I bit into it, the inside was soft, airy, and slightly chewy from the sourdough, which made it different from a regular donut. There was a subtle tang from the sourdough that balanced the sweetness really well, so it never felt overly sugary. It had a light crispness on the outside, then a warm, pillowy center that practically melted away with each bite. I finished it way faster than I expected. The only thing I forgot was ordering something to drink with it. Looking back, a good coffee would've made it even better. Still, I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds. This is the place you bring people close to you, business lunches, meetings, formal ir informal, or like me, save it for myself as my own getaway spot. It's an artists dream and sets a positive time for any gathering.

Food Quality Issues:The food and cleanliness were equally disappointing. I requested extra crispy bacon in my omelet, but the bacon was undercooked and appeared raw. Both coffee cups also arrived dirty, with dried coffee residue inside, raising concerns about cleanliness and attention to detail.
