I visited multiple Ford dealerships as well as other brands and the sales technique was high pressure, quick sale; which for me, is a HUGE turn off. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership with Edgar Evans. The contract was for 72 months, 36000 miles. Most warranty contracts for 72 months is 100,000 miles. I needed some warranty work. I tried having the vehicle towed to Pat Milliken, but I was told that the tow to Pat Milliken would not be covered. The cost to have the vehicle towed to Suburban Ford was covered. So I had the car towed to Suburban. When I got there I was told that my warranty had expired. Suburban Ford immediately tried to get me into another warranty. They wanted to give Pat Milliken a chance to fix their wrong first. Pat Milliken would not assist us in getting another warranty. So we had to purchase another warranty on our own. I liked working with Joe Linting at Pat Milliken Ford so much that when I totaled my Ford Focus, I came back looking for a deal on something used. I spent more than I originally had in mind (which is why I'm withholding the fifth star) but it was worth every penny. I absolutely love my gently used Ford Escape that had minimal miles and was practically new. Joe Linting was a great guide in the process. I called him prior to coming in so he could keep an eye on what was coming in and out of the used department. He had three cars waiting for me when I arrived, I test drove all of them and he did his best to negotiate on prices with the used car manager. He was very organized, laid back and on top of the purchasing process. Fun to work with too! I also enjoyed having my cars serviced with Pat Milliken over the years. The only difficult part of leasing a vehicle from this dealer was finding a sales person to get the paperwork going. I knew exactly what car I wanted, I had the z plan for the financing all ready to go. The first person I dealt with introduced himself as their online salesman, he wouldn't return any communication so I had to go in. There after asking everyone I can see for help I got one guy that kept me at there desk for ever while he socialized then wanted me to come back. I asked the last person if he can sell or lease a white escape right now. I finally got help. Now that the lease is up I cannot get anybody to help me out. I just get funneled back to this same Howard guy that won't try to sell me a car. You won't have to worry about "pushy salesman" here, you literally cannot pay them to sell you anything. Unless your professional enough to close on the deal yourself without an employee you might like it here. If your just a normal person trying to do business I recommend starting with a business who wants your business. Ps: I had to bring my vehicle to a different dealership for service after the third time trying to work with Pat's team. I put in the service request online and confirmed on the phone by their team. Still only half the order was complete. The tech tried to push the blame back to me but that was all sorted out with the documentation. After we resolved that issue I scheduled to have them pick up my car for service while I was at work but nobody called, nobody showed up. I was awarded an apology but then stood me up for our rescheduled appointment. I was shocked by how easy this was with a different dealership. I'm not sure how this business operates, either the employees don't get compensated well enough to care or it's just the culture at pat Millikan. read more

I love the sales department they are friendly fast & courteous, Finance managers are good and treat perspective buyers/leasers with respect. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT...... WELL some one should tell them they are CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS themselves ! I am buying my ford Flex, The car is excellent and i am a big man, i fit comfortably in the front as well as in the back. I took my end of lease in for a used vehicle inspection prior to buying, after the inspection i was told that the rear end was loose and needed to be fixed, ok, do it here not a problem...... WELL apparently the service department doesn;t think customer first.... the Flex wasn't checked into the shop for the repair until the afternoon AND parts have to be ordered, no problem. BACK at 8am with my ride, parts aren't here yet, ok, got a rent a car so i could take care of my business..... MY ISSUE the dealership is closed, 7 HOURS HAVE GONE BY.... NO ONE has called, NO ONE thinks its important to update me on the status of MY VEHICLE !!! I MEAN WTF ?? YOU CAN'T CALL TO SAY WE GOT THE PARTS IN LATE OR WE HAVEN'T GOTTEN THE PARTS YET ADN IT'LL BE ANOTHER DAY.... THIS IS BULL***T !!! HOW HARD IS IT TO CALL AND LET ME KNOW WHAT ITS GOING ON WITH THE CAR I JUST BOUGHT ?? What is it they say, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, THIS IS THE SECOND TIME PAT MILLIKEN FORD HAS TREATED ME LIKE THIS..... Despite all of Pat Milliken Ford boasting about all of their customer service awards, my husband and I have had nothing but horrible experiences with them since leasing our Bronco Sport in 2021. Despite being mis-quoted multiple times on the lease by sales we decided to go out on a whim with them and lease with them because there were so few vehicles available at the time. We have had multiple recalls on the Bronco since leasing it and have been continually told by Pat Milliken's service department that they don't have the brake parts. These recalls started back in January. Now our vehicle has been in their shop under an insurance claim since September 2nd and it has not been touched!! With an insurance claim having been in place since that date! Rick, the service manager is never available, sends our calls to voicemail after we have sat on hold to be connected with him, and does not return our calls! We will be lucky to have our car back after they've had it for over a month and I have little to no faith in that even happening. NEVER again will I deal with this dealer or Ford. I'm so disgusted and disappointed. read more

Though I am happy to have purchased the new bronco sport in the color and trim I was looking for at MSRP, that was about the only pleasant part of making a purchase here. Zac was great and friendly before I picked up my vehicle, however, afterwards was a complete mess. He promised and failed to ship my license plate to me after my purchase (it took over 2 weeks to get to me). I asked him numerous times about the cost of an after market accessory and he literally just never responded. I asked multiple times when the pay off for the used car I sold them would post to my account with Toyota and it took so long I was hit with late fees (that Toyota thankfully reimbursed). I had to call the dealerships manager to figure out what was going on and why things were taking so incredibly long because Zac did not pick up when I called and failed to respond to all my text inquiries. I let all of that slide but now I'm livid because my temp plates have now expired and I was told by Zac I could not legally put my old plates on my new car until I had the paperwork from the DMV which I still don't have and it's been a month. My first payment is due and I literally cant pay it because I don't have my account number. I'm furious with the lack of customer service after they made a sale at this dealership. Frank was so welcoming and patient. In no time he understood what exactly my requirements were. I leased my fusion from Pat Milliken Last February with a few hiccups but got a great deal on my lease....my review is specifically of the Collision Center: My car was recently stolen end of July and was found a day later with quite a bit of damage (stolen for the wheels/tires, did about $9700 worth of damage). After looking at reviews online and calling a few places I decided to take it to Pat Milliken collision shop thinking they would take care of me. Especially since I leased my first new car from there this year. After 31 days of the shop having my car and my insurance cutting them a check for almost TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS, you think they would have had time to run it through a car wash, or at least vacuum out all the glass from the theft? Think again!! I just picked it up on Friday August the 26th expecting it to look brand new and clean since they had it for 4 weeks but was let down. When the collision manager was walking me to my car at pick up he states "just so you know, we don't detail or clean cars, we are only obligated to fix the cars". After getting the keys and leaving for an already planned vacation that day I find there are still pretty large broken SHARDS OF GLASS on both of the floor mats, and small pieces embedded in stitching in seat in back, and they didn't even take the car through a car wash! How could they possibly see all the damage if they didn't clean the outside first ? I gave 2/5 stars because at least the car drives like new and from afar looks new again, I guess. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend Milliken to anyone. I don't even feel comfortable taking my car in for an oil change at this point. If they think it's OK to leave large shards of glass in a customer's car what else will they skip?? I moved to Redford two years ago and wanted to support a local business but I am starting to regret giving them any of my business, and will not recommend this dealership to any friends or family. read more

Very unprofessional. I paid to have my car towed in only to be told they rather not work on my car. ??? This is after I had called and was told they COULD do the work. The woman I spoke with made me feel very uncomfortable and belittled with her horrible attitude. The language she used floored me, it was very unexpected of a dealership. I later called three other ford dealers to make sure it was a fluke, IT WAS! The other dealers where quite professional and easy to talk to. Let me start by saying John Blanchard, still top notch salesperson and the ONLY reason I stay with Pat Milliken. This review is for today's experience with your service department and my husband's last experience with the body shop (which I would not have reviewed/mentioned if I were not so annoyed with the service department today). Let me start by saying that if I buy a car from you I consider you "MY" dealership, so when my oil light came on and I had a errand to run in Dearborn and a few hours to spare this morning I thought I would knock off my oil change on the way to my errand. Pat Milliken is not the most convenient dealership to my home but again I consider it "MY" dealership. I rolled into the dealership around 10 am, yes without an appointment but I did not know my oil light would come on yesterday and again I am trying to kill two birds with one stone. First, you just left me sitting in my car no one came out from service. Finally the guy that put the number on my car said I should go in because "it seems no one is going to come out". I go in and first I am told 4 hours or why I don't I come back tomorrow (I work and I don't have any time off tomorrow to do that) then after a bunch of keyboarding (geez am I at the airline ticketing counter) and a call to someone in the service department I am told 3 hours, like that is some sort of favor. I'm sorry, but in what universe does an oil change take 3-4 hours? When the world is changing to doing everything online including buying a car your service and body shop are part of the "relational" experience when I buy from your dealership. I think you should look at the reviews that appear to love your salespeople but loathe your service department and STEP IT UP. You already had my husband fired up about his experience with the body shop-long story short you quoted him one price, he brought his car in for the work, while you had his car you called to say you quoted wrong and would be charging him a few hundred dollars more. You rectified this situation and did the right thing but guess what he remembers about dealing with your body shop. Your entire dealership is in the customer service business-please do not forget this. You are "MY" dealership treat me like that matters to you. read more

After 14 years of company cars, this was my first new car purchase in at least as many years. Josh Moses was the sales rep, and the process was painless from start to finish. I had arranged my own financing, so I can't speak to that, but the shuttle service to come get the car was nice, they had exactly what I wanted (and offered to get it if they didn't.) I also had a great experience with their service department and Scott Duczyminski. I had them install a Ford Racing exhaust on my new Mustang. They did a great job and also kept the old exhaust in the shop a week for me while I made arrangements to pick it up. I would definitely buy here again. read more
