This place is a joke. All their vehicles are falling apart, they have an 2006 white Expedition in their lot that had the floor rusted out of it listed for over $6000. We test drove a white 2013 Dodge Ram $17000 (Kelly Blue Book says valued at 11,000) that had a serious exhaust leak and both front cv axle boots are ripped grease everywhere making noise We were willing to work with them regardless, make a deal. We sat for over 2 hours for them to come back with a bull offer! I have 2016 GMC Acadia SLT that they quoted me $6500. 15% with 700+ credit score. I get the interest rate might be out of their control but in total the wanted 28,000 for a 2013 Dodge Ram with mechanical issues. I'm sorry but that's absolutely ridiculous. **BUYER BEWARE** Patriot Auto Sales is either grossly negligent or actively deceptive. More than likely both. Either way, buying from them will be a gamble. If you value your time, your money, or your sanity, stay far away. You'd be better off burning your money. I purchased a 2000 Jeep from Patriot Auto Sales from out of state, and the experience was deeply disappointing. Borderline unethical. Patriot and their "mechanic" AJ show an alarming disregard for basic accountability. Tanner, the salesperson, was friendly but profoundly unprepared to answer even basic questions about the vehicle. Throughout the process, his responses revealed either a serious lack of product knowledge or a willingness to mislead through omission. When someone in a sales position cannot speak competently about the mechanical condition of what they're selling, it's not just unprofessional, it puts the buyer at risk. He's nice, but should not be selling vehicles if he doesn't have at least a basic understanding of what exactly it is he's pushing on customers. The real issue, however, lies with AJ, the mechanic they rely on for pre-purchase inspections. AJ failed to identify that the Jeep had no oil pressure. This is a glaring, critical issue that no competent mechanic should miss. Whether the inspection was rushed, superficial, or simply never done properly, the result was the same. I was left unaware of a catastrophic engine problem until I had already traveled across state lines to pick up a vehicle that had been purchased on the assumption that I had been trusting a professional. When questioned, AJ claimed the damage occurred after his inspection, either by Patriot staff or someone during a test drive. Even though he confirmed with me after the fact via text that the Jeep had low oil pressure while in his shop. All of this raises serious concerns about the thoroughness and integrity of any of his inspections. Taken on its own I could chalk this up to AJ and Tanner not knowing what they're doing, but when I picked up the car I checked the trouble codes. Emissions readiness hadn't run yet, which means someone at the dealer or at their mechanic deliberately cleared the trouble codes so that I wouldn't be aware of issues until I had already left with the car. Almost as soon as the Jeep hit operating temperature the check engine light was flashing at me. Neither AJ nor Tanner mentioned the oil pressure issue or the check engine issues until I showed up to take delivery. Only then was I told the Jeep had no oil pressure, and shockingly, no one seemed to think that was a big deal. Tanner didn't even understand what that meant. Save yourself and do not buy a vehicle from here. It is ridiculous how many people they have scammed. two days after purchasing a vehicle my check engine light came on. after getting it looked at by a mechanic, they mechanic stated that this problem has been going on since way before I purchased the car. The whole engine on the car was bad and it is going to blow out any minute. The mechanic was able to see that Patriot Auto sales cleared the codes to the car just 30 miles before I had purchased it. Which is why just two days after having the car the check engine light was on. I was in contact with them before I had even drove down there. Tanner is very unprofessional and useless. They cannot sell a vehicle with a bad engine and I have proof that it was bad before I even purchased it. They refused to fix it and refused to pay for it. I will be seeing this case in court. Patriot Auto? Not a patriot at all in my opinion. I had been in recent car wreck. Had major brain fog due to a concussion. I had a mechanic friend who called ahead because he was friends with the owner. He said listen she needs a good truck. She's a single mom & doesn't have anyone to go with her. He had told him about the wreck & my condition. He said send her up & yeah, we will take care of her. I'm not typically good at these things even without a concussion. When I arrived, everyone was friendly. Found the truck I loved they were unwilling to come down on price. I ended up putting the last of my money down to get payments where I needed them to be. Bought the extended warranty to make sure that I was covered down the road. Left & went to go put diesel in. The fuel nozzle was busted. You had to push the middle circular thing to the side to even get the nozzle in. Took the truck home, left to go get dinner that evening. The airlift system was acting up. Easter/the next morning saw fluid under the rear tire. I sent pictures and told them what was going on both days. Monday I called and sent messages. I did not hear a word back other than let me talk to the owner and I'll get back to you. Had my mechanic come over and there were several codes that came up. The wheel seal, and several having to do with the EGR. My mechanic doesn't work with warranty, so I took it into a local shop. $4250 worth of repairs needed. I had them call this almighty warranty, and they said it was all pre-existing. They would not cover anything. I ended up having my mechanic do all the work which saved me a little bit of money. Still had to pay for the diagnostics to be done. I have reached out to Jeff several times finally talked to him. He said he may give me $300 to $500 towards repair. Still nothing June 16th. These guys know exactly what was wrong with it. Sold it to me anyways knowing that I was a single mom, that lived paycheck to paycheck & had a concussion. Stay clear of these guys. My truck broke down...I needed a new one as I own a fencing company. Can't use my car. Found a Ford F250 Super Duty at Patriot. Bought the truck and drove it around town. Went to Utah for a family event ...on the way out of Utah the transfer case broke into two pieces! I had the truck 2 1/2 weeks! 2 1/2 WEEKS!!! I PAID $5000 plus their $35 title fee, $120 fee, and a bit more for a very crappy truck. I took the title in to get it in our names and it cost me again for the title! So, after finding a used Toyota 4Runner at Patriot, I had several conversations and texts with Tanner (saleman). I told him that I was 99.9% certain I wanted the 4Runner, but was concerned about rust on the frame - a troublespot on 3rd Generation Toyotas. He sent me photos of the undercarriage, after which I told him I wanted the car and planned to come to Cheyenne on Tuesday (2-1/2 business days) to pay cash. Friday at 11:32 a.m. His text reply said (verbatim): "Sounds great! I'll get you scheduled in." -Tanner B. The following morning I sent hm a text suggesting that I send a photo of my South Dakota driver's license to facilitate the paperwork, and asking about a temporary tag to drive it to SD. I was asked for a deposit then salesperson Jamie Wittman forgot to get info but sent credit app... talked to her via text 3 times afterward was going to pick up vehicle... couldnt get it because it was in the shop... wait until tomorro....today I was getting ready to drive and get vehicle and was told it was sold this am....... yes I should have said hey wait you didn't take my deposit... but they knew I was on my way yesterday... and couldn't so was on the way today.
