The most rude 0 customer service OWNER!!!! first and last time ever buying anything at this place. when asking about the items they the Lady helping us was extremely rude. She did not wash her hands, had no gloves on , and was also not wearing a hair net. she was very arrogant. She said she was the owner. Never buying anything here bad experience.

This spot has quickly become one of my absolute favorite places for pizza. From the very first bite, you can tell they put real care into every detail. The sauce is outstanding--it has that perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, rich but never overwhelming, and it ties all the flavors together beautifully. Our favorite pie is the pepperoni with fresh basil. The pepperoni has just the right amount of crisp and spice, while the basil adds a refreshing, aromatic finish that makes each slice feel bright and balanced. The crust deserves its own mention too: it's thin, airy, and has that slight char from the wood-fired oven, giving it a smoky note that complements the toppings without being bitter. You get that crunch on the outside with a soft, chewy center--exactly how great pizza should be. Every time we come here, the consistency is spot on. The flavors are layered, the ingredients feel fresh, and the balance between sauce, cheese, and toppings makes it impossible to stop at just one slice. For anyone who loves a true wood-fired pizza experience, this place is a must.

The service is not good. The girl with the green hair is so rude and she gave us the wrong food that we didn't order and she's not only unapologetic but also argumentative. Rudest and most unfriendliest service ever.

Pepperoni Slice with a order of jalapeños

Damn, I paid $14 bucks for this and my pizza sat there for a minute. Forgetboutit! 2/10. The service was great the ambiance is up for debate since it's the grand central market. Don't recommend it!

Great pizza, the dough is fluffy and chewy. Tomatoes were fresh and the slice was very large. Cashier was friendly and service was fast, they warm up the pizza for you first. Surrounding area is a bit loud and busy, but I recommend if you're looking for a quick bite while at The Farmer's Market

Made the trip from the Westside cause we heard good things about this place. Supposed to be historical . Well sure it's historical but that doesn't mean the pizza is good. So a bunch of famous people have been there. And sure the originators were from NYC. This pizza pales in comparison to many of the NY style places that have popped up in LA. Patsys wont even make it into my top 15. Also if you ask for garlic or pepper they put it in a little bag . And they are very stingy about the amount they give you. Just let people sprinkle their own crushed pepper and it will save time and money on those stupid little bags. I just spent 25 dollars on a pie and you are gonna be cheap on the crushed pepper?

$11 for a slice of cheese pizza and a water is outrageous. Nothing special about the service.

    Gluten free cheese pizza!
    Dont Worry A.

I had a classic cheese pizza on the gluten free rice flower bread and I must say, SPECTACULAR Im very picky when it comes down to gluten free pizzas since I like my breads doughy and overall more of a "full" texture but this pizza really hit the spot. The cashier was really really sweet although I forgot to catch her name The pizza is roughly small but so worth it if eating just alone (my friend and i had 3 slices and were full). I payed around $18 dollars for my meal and was very content, were 100% coming back!! Only downside was that they didn't sell ranch on the side other than that, YUM

It is located on the east end inside the Old Farmer's Market (on The Grove side). The market is like a giant food court with a few other shops sprinkled in between. The design and appearance of this pizza spot make it seem finer than it is. The signage and colors are excellent right down to the font type used. They also have a nice open oven with a beautiful eye-catching flame. The pizza served whole or by the slice is good for what it is and where you are. It's fresh, satisfying, and gets an A-okay. I love pizza so it's great for a quick bite to eat while window shopping. The area especially on the weekends is usually very crowded with people eating all the types of food offered in the maze of booths. There are some chairs and tables just opposite the ordering counter or if full, you can walk and find a seat close by. Service while ordering is fine and friendly.

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

Initially we were going to…read moretry De La Nonna, but they were closed for a special event and we didn't know when we showed up. In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Food: - Sicilian: THIS was the winner of the evening! The sauce, mozz, ricotta, and pesto all came together to make a really tasty bite. I've had this same pizza at several other spots in LA, but Prime Pizza really executed it well here. So well balanced in textures and flavors, and the crust was both nicely crispy on the edges and fluffy in the center! - Spicy Pep: Solid pizza, and we LOVE when pizza places use cuppy pepperoni. Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. And, as native New Yorkers, we know our pizza! Strongly recommended! Can't wait to get another Sicilian pie in the near future with some toppings.

The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part.
