My family and I have been here several times. The place is always busy and the service is good. I love eating the linguini and clams with white sauce. It's perfect!! The pizza is good, the crust could be a bit crisper! All in all a good place with friends and family. But when trying to order for pick up, we called in a order for chicken franchese and requested with linguini with garlic and oil. They told us we can not substitue spagetti or penne for linguini... Had lunch here twice and dinner once. We do takeout on Sundays. It's always very good. Pizza is delicious - had it with meatballs. We has the eggplant appetizer and it was excellent. Let me start off by saying that I enjoy the food here and have eaten here many times. You really have to try to screw up pizza and pasta. That said, over the past year the service has gone down the toilet. My visit last night with a party of three was a disaster. We ordered two salads and two pasta dishes to split. A half hour to get salads, and bread. After an hour we complained to the manager that our food had not come. We were met with indifference and dismissiveness. A few minutes later the table next to us who came in after us received their check. We promptly got up, paid for the salads and left, without even an "I'm sorry" from the manager or the waiter. The staff runs around bringing the wrong food to the wrong table and don't seem to know what they're doing. I never minded the high prices for the decent food but I will not return because they don't care about the service. read more

It was my first time going to Patsys, and I would definitely return. The margarita pizza had a super thin crust which was excellent. The cranberry walnut spinach salad was a nice big portion, great for sharing. The mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce were really yummy. Our waitress, Lisa was a delight. I ordered baked penne all's vodka with chicken cutlet and fresh mozzarella prices at $20.95 with extra vodka sauce so I figured $25.95 and an Italian egg roll prices at $11.95 bill was $50. The worst gastronomic experience of my life! I am not judging because I am Italian and I do know a bit about Italian gourmet food. The food is horrible. Even chicken parmeggiana, a classic in any American-Italian restaurant, at Patsy's is a flop! The service is revolting. At the beginning the hostess said she would seat my husband, my son and I in 5 minutes - we ended waiting 25 minutes. They messed up our order and at the end I left the place without eating my main course. Even Italian bread they didnt give us! This was the first time we were here. We were two couples and each one us was so pleased with the food and the service. After tasting both the appetizers and the entree dishes, we were sure that there was a little old Italian grandma/grandpa cooking in the kitchen. The food is delicious!! We also ordered chicken Francese, broccoli rabe, fries and mussels, all were delish to the max! it came in big portions. It also helped, every Wednesday, kids eat free so that saved us money right there. And last but not the least, the service was fantastic. Our first visit. Upon entering, the waitress that seated us seemed not to be interested we were there. Threw us at a table and scurried away. But after that, the visit was fantastic. We had the luck of getting Lisa as our waitress. What an informative and caring person. She knew we were new to Patsy's and was very patient that we were unsure of the menu. She recommended a few items, Pappadella Bolognes (fantastic) and we also had the Margerita pizza. ..Let me say that I normally get this pizza, but I don't know why, but this was the best one I have ever had. The sauce was pure heaven, not acidic, and the mozzarella clean and tasted like it was made today. You must try this pizza!!!! Brian (the owner?) heard that we were rookies to Patsy's and came around to see how our visit was going. ...another great person working at Patsy's. Food is 3 star and service is 2 star at best. My wife and I went on a Friday night at 7pm. The place was crowded but they had plenty of help working. With that said, it took 20min before anyone came to our table and introduced themselves as our waitress. Plenty of staff passed by us but didn't take a minute to even look at us never mind ask if they can get us started with drinks, etc. We ordered 1 large pizza and a salad. Took 20 minutes for the food which is understandable. The tables are on top of each other so if your looking for a quiet dinner with nobody listening to your conversation, etc, then this place isn't the spot to be. We actually had to move our table a bit at one point to allow the waiter to pass by with a chair for a child. That's how tight it is. The staff were bumping into one another and one even dropped a drink all over the floor because there was no room to pass. They carry each plate out by hand, one by one because they can't walk past the tables carrying a big tray with all the plates on it at once as they do in every restaurant. Kinda ridiculous. Hint to the owners, this problem can be solved by moving the one table away from the wall that's directly in front of the hostess podium. the food was good. Definetly not great by any means. Perhaps it's a bit better environment during the day or earlier but standard dinner time is a little annoying in this place. read more

I have no idea why this place has such bad reviews, it's actually amazing. Went here with my wife last weekend, and definitely was pleasantly surprised with all these dopes bad mouthing them on Yelp. We were greeted by a young hostess with short hair and a great personality, she was very warm and welcoming asking if this was our first time at the restaurant and chatted up my wife a lot while we waited for a table. Best part about waiting was the sports on Both TV's and the hostess kept us up to date minute by minute that our table was being prepared, which was actually enjoyable. The bartender was accommodating and very sweet as well. Our waitress, Lauren I believe her name was, was the icing on the cake of good employment. On a busy Friday night and she seemed pretty swamped she was very attentive and friendly. We had to try the Dirty Chips that sounded too good to pass up, let me say, AMAZING. Anyone who goes to this place has to try them out, they were just that good. My kudos to the chef for this brilliant mixture. The pizza was also amazing, the Red and White pie that we ordered was out of this world. Perfectly cooked a little crispy but not too burnt. People have to be a little easier on places like this, the restaurant is a little small, and space is tight, we waited a good 20 minutes but no complaint here, was well worth the wait. Also, give the servers a break, they all look young, college probably, and it's great to see kids with work ethic.The bus boys filled our waters when they weren't trying to help the hostess by bussing off tables to seat the other five parties waiting. Went to Patsys tonight with my friends and their two young children 4 and 9. We arrived at about 7:20 PM. We ordered our pizzas shortly thereafter but waited until about 8:10 for our pizza. I have to say the pizza is terrific and fairly priced but there is something lacking about the service here. Everyone is extremely pleasant but this is the second time in the last few weeks that we waited an inordinately long time for our pizza. This time we had the kids with us which made the wait even more untenable. Patsy's, although they have other items, is first and foremost a pizza parlor. One would think they'd be churning out these pies. I never remember waiting more than about fifteen minutes for a pie at Grimaldis or any other pizza emporium. Patsy's we love your pizza, your employees are pleasant and professional. Please hire another pizza chef or add another oven. You make the mark in every other way. If I were rating your pizza I'd give you five stars but the service, primarily the wait, is the reason for my three star review. read more

was looking forward to patsy's based on reputation; place is smaller than I thought it would be, we got a table placed near the kitchen where disinterested staff wound their way back and forth knocking into out chairs - we asked for a diffferent table, but two others in the "main" were not ready; why, with the abundant staff milling about- I counted at least 10 staff members- the tables couldn;'t be immediately cleared was a mystery, or esle mgt doesn't care; service was slow and poor; it took several waves to get cathy, our server, to come take our order - she was only interested in taking a drink order, since they had just gotten there SLA license recently; when we ordered a soft drink, she said she would be right back for our order, even though we were ready- simple order, pizza and some fried zucchini as an appetizer; she came back five minutes later, without the drinks and took the order; ten minutes later, both the appetizer and the pizza were placed on the table- which was so tiny, there was barely room for the glasses of water! the zucchini was obviously frozen - large cut, too much breading and when I took a bite, I expected it to be piping hot - it was barely warm! the pizza seemed promising, but the crust was soggy- the sauce mediocre and the sausage barely tasty, (and sparsely dotted around the pie- at $4 for the topping, this was unacceptable). we finihsed less than half of the appetizer, did not finish the pie, and though our waitress glided by asking how everything was (my wife had to kick me to keep me quiet) all I could say was just bring the check! for a pizzeria that plans on trading on the name - this will survive only because of the name, but it was a lousy dining experience- food rated less than a 1/2 star, and service, none. the entrees we saw on the table seemed interesting and appealing, but a diner we had met who went before us, advised us to stick with the pie; that will be the last time we go to Patsy's - expected so much better, and got nothing in return; btw- one soda, pie with sausage and horrid zucchini was $30- folks, go to your no namne neighborhood pizza parlor -you'll be much better off! read more

The manager tonight was Kelly and she needs to be taught how to speak to customers. I ordered the parpadella with short rib ragu [which I have had here 3 or 4 times] which came out totally burnt and that's all you tasted. Kelly the manager proceeded to tell me it wasn't since it's slow cooked and she had no other complaints. She never asked me if I wanted anything else and basically told me I was wrong. Never Again! I really never liked the food here to begin with but I went because my kids love the pizza. After my daughter accidentally left her ipad here I called numerous times during the week to ask if it was found. Each time I was given a cold "NO" by three different people. Thanks to Apple's location service it was indeed there and after I went to retrieve it I was directed to the manager who brushed me aside and was very rude. I said one word "ipad" and she knew exactly where it was. She handed it to me and I walked out. Went here for the 2nd time on July 11. We were excited when it opened in the neighborhood thinking it would be a great place that my husband, myself & kids would enjoy. The 1st time the service was so-so & we just figured it was bc they had recently opened. We tried again last Thurs at 6 pm. We were seated right away which was good, but then we just sat there for about 10 min. No one asked us what we wanted to drink (we ended up just having the water) & the waitress took a long time to take our meal order. We ordered 3 pies, one w mushroom, one w onion & a plain. We didn't order the Margherita bc $18.50 for a pie seemed outrageous. The other pies were $12.50 + $4 for the topping which is also a bit much. The onion pie was good, the mushroom wasn't. The mushrooms retain water so when u cook the pie it gets soggy, they just should sautee the mushrooms 1st, not put them on uncooked. Anyway, it wasn't that busy, there were other customers but not more than normal, the service was practically nonexistent. we got a bread basket when I asked for it bc the pizza was taking quite some time & the kids were hungry, then the pizza & bread came at the same time. If I really want brick oven pizza, I may just order take out nx time, or just go somewhere else. Not worth it here. read more

Waited for this place to open and finally went. What a disappointment!! It was crowded, the music was too loud. We got a table after a 15 minute wait. The hostess was clearly new at her job, she had no idea how to seat people that were waiting as there were plenty of open tables. She didn't want to sit us at a four top, in case a larger party came in. So we waited for a two person table which was tiny and crowded in, barely enough room to move my seat back which hit another patron. The food was nothing to rave about. We had fried meatballs for appetizers and they were way too spicy. My wife had a veal parm that was ok. I ended up waiting 45 minutes for my pizza. My wife was finished with her entree for 20 minutes by the time my pie came. The waitress was very nice and kept apologizing for the wait saying it was undercooked. Honestly I think they forgot about it, the kitchen staff and the oven people are separated and I think there is zero communication between them. When it finally arrived it was burnt around the edges and soggy in the middle. Really? 45 minutes for a pizza in a wood burning brick oven? It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes at the most! We wont be returning to dine here again as when we got home my wife was completely ill. read more
