My friends and I stopped by Patties on a Bachelorette trip. The vibes were awesome! Their big thing is having a bunch of dollar bills on the wall, which created a really fun aesthetic. There were a bunch of people there, even on a Friday during the day, so I'd imagine it's pretty busy at night. I'm not sure if they served food, but it seemed like the drinks were fairly standard. Ultimately, you're here for the overall atmosphere.

Patties can be a bit much for some. Each time that I've visited, it has been super crowded. It takes a while to get to the bar to order drinks. But if you're patient and you love the music and meeting different people, then this is your spot. . Accessible parking and entrance.

Ended up doing a mini dive crawl down in Old Town. This was our second stop. I had a mixed drink and my friend had a local beer (limited offerings/mostly IPAs). Patties is very big, definitely the largest bar we visited in Old Town. Bartender was extremely friendly. It seems like you could encounter people of all ages here and at least during the day it wouldn't matter. There is just a very cool, laid back feel with multiple rooms for all to enjoy. I could see anyone having a pretty good time there.

I like the dive bar energy at Patties. But, some may find this popular Old Town bar too crowded on weekends. Best prices on domestic beers in Scottsdale's Entertainment District. Crowd tends to be in their 20s, but ages range from 20s to 60s. It's almost always a place I stop when going out in Old Town. Bu

I thought I left Huntington Beach to get away from the bro & heaux bars. However, there were plenty of DB bros at Patties in shorts, slippers, muscle shirts (sans the muscles) and backwards baseball caps: Rotflmao! Patties is in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale where restaurants and bars abound. It came highly recommended by a bartender and waitress we spoke to in Scottsdale. I had a good time here. The bartenders were cool and attentive. The ID checker in front, and other staff were chill. There were more women vs guys, the music was bumping, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Patties is a good place for an after dinner drink, or a place to close out the night. The drinks are inexpensive as well.

    Dollar bills everywhere!

My friends from the area recommended this bar so we stopped in. The bartender was a sweetheart and the prices for our drinks were the best in town! We love a good dive bar and were happy we stopped in.

Pattie's is in fact my favorite bar in scottsdale. everything about it is everything you are looking for in a bar. divey. great people. fun. cheap drinks. dollar bills on the wall. i love pattie's. plus let me tell you about my favorite bartender in all of phoenix. donny. donny is the GOAT. kindest, most sociable man in phoenix. does everything to accommodate his customers, wears a sick pattie's hat. and is the greatest time ever. love you pattie's!

Soooooo I have been here quite a few times! The most recent was Friday night! Ok, warning....background story...my birthday is today!!! So me and my boyfriend were staying at a super cool hotel not too far from Pattie's. We had the hotel golf cart drive us over there close to midnight lol! But wait! It gets better lol!! I went to the first bathroom on the right...you need to walk back into the establishment like you're exiting! Ok cool! U got it! Then as I went to wash my hands in the sink there was fresh strawberries and alcohol throw up in the sink! Hey it happens right??!! Ok so we walked around and made friends whatever!! Then I had to go to the bathroom again so I went to the one that was in the back with 2 stalls!! What what??! And like a dumb a$$ I left my phone in the stall and so my phone got hijacked!! The good news is it was eventually recovered without a ransom fee!!! Phew right!! But!! Here's the videos and pictures that were randomly taken while my phone was kidnapped!! Enjoy ****Oh and this guy Chris who works there! Total douchebag and he thought it was funny to completely disrespect me!!! Boy....BYE!! just saying!!!!**** Love is my religion!! - Val K.

Fun place. We come down each Superbowl weekend and always spend an afternoon having Jack, beers and playing ping pong.

I sent an email directly to the company (management@mothertuckerstavern.com) on Monday, April 6th…read more2026 in an attempt to have this resolved without posting a negative review. Unfortunately, I have not heard back. Below is a copy of that email: Good morning, We came in on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 and ordered the Two 4 One Bubbles special. This is something we have ordered frequently in your establishment, most recently on March 8th, 2026. Every time we have purchased this, the Wycliff bottles have been $25. This means that we should receive 2 bottles for $25.01 based on the special listed on your menu. When we received the check, we were charged $50.01 for the 2 bottles. We pointed out the mistake to the bar tender who said the price was correct. We informed her that we have come here approximately once/month for the last year and the cost has never been $50 for a bottle of Wycliff. She asked another employee to come over and we explained the same issue to her. She (we did not get her name) said she has been a Manager there for several years and that has always been the price. I told her we have ordered this special over the last year and we would never pay $50 for a bottle of Wycliff. She refused to adjust our check. I asked her to show me on a menu where a bottle of Wycliff costs $50. Of course, she was not able to do that because it doesn't exist. We generally are very generous with our tip, as we consider this a good deal and the staff is usually great. - I have attached a copy of the receipt. We would like to continue to frequent Mother Tuckers, as we have always had a good time and like to bring friends visiting from out of town. I am hopeful this was an oversight by your employees and a refund will be put back on my credit card for the overcharge.

But, if you're looking for a really cool bar, KWSC is for you. I stopped by on a week day evening around 8:30 p.m. Located in Roosevelt Row, while there isn't parking, I found free parking on the street a few minutes away on foot. Ambiance (4.5/5): My type of spot. Dimly lit with a speakeasy vibe. There are eight or so seats at the bar, and the rest of your seating options consist of comfortable chairs and sofas. You'll see a lot of photos of people's bums on the walls lol. This is indeed part of the appeal. For free, if you would like, they will take a polaroid of your butt and memorialize you eternally on the walls. While I didn't do that, if that's up your alley, go for it. Service (2/5): This is the main area of improvement. After being seated, I was greeted promptly and got my first cocktail promptly. From there, things fell apart. I had to grab the bartender's attention to order my second drink and to close out. It was a week day and they weren't busy. And there were two bartenders. A lack of attentiveness. When I closed out, I noticed that the cocktails were both $2 more expensive than what was listed on the menu. When I inquired, I was told that the menus were outdated... umm what? If you're not going to re-print your menus, give people a heads-up when they arrive. I understand that most people won't notice, but this is deception. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet. If you're trying to eat here, all they have is snacks. The menu doesn't specify but I'm thinking it's probably chips or somethign like that. Drinks (4/5): A lengthy, and interesting, cocktail list. Similar to a speakeasy, you're going to see creativity and an interesting blend of flavors here. The most popular drink is Fuck Nazis. We're seeing a theme here. KWSC is an interesting spot. For various dollar amounts, you can get funny things outside of the polaroids of your bum. My first cocktail was great. My second one, a tiki drink, not so much. The menu said that there would be some flame action happening. It didn't. Just another example of the service falling short. If the service were better, Killer Whale Sex Club would easily be a five-star experience.

The atmosphere was unique, the bartenders were genuinely engaging, and there was a real sense of community that made every visit memorable. It became my go-to spot to bring friends from out of town and every single person I brought absolutely loved it! Back then, the cocktails felt intentional and creative, not just rushed out for volume. The staff remembered regulars, conversations flowed naturally, and the whole place had this warm, eclectic energy that made you want to stay for hours. Even on busy nights, it somehow still felt personal. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, the vibe has changed quite a bit. The drinks just aren't as consistently good as they used to be, especially considering the prices now. Service feels far more transactional and impersonal, and the atmosphere that once made this place stand out has faded into something much more generic. It feels less like a neighborhood gem and more like a stop on a nightlife circuit.

However, the walls have a counter with the stools, so you can order food and eat there! It's super crowded all the time (this was our third attempt getting my inside across 2 days), but so worth it! Our drinks were made quickly, but ordering them was a little trickier. They didn't have many people working (2? 3?) so it was easier to order at the bar then flag down a server. With it being a small space, it was would've been nice to order from a server. We had the prickly pear margaritas and the house margarita. While they tasted good, I'm not sure how authentic they were. But they were served icy cold, so can't complain too much! They were also a decent price. We also had their red pork and green pork tamales. The red was my favorite, with a hint of spice and flavorful pork. The green one was good too. We also had their nachos, which were pretty classic and appreciated by the group! Food came out in about 20-30 minutes. Prices were reasonable too. The best was the live music-- It's free! Lots of country classics. I would arriving around 1/1:15 pm, finding a seat, getting a drink and ordering food, and listening to the well-played tunes. It only has 1 small TV, so I'd go somewhere else if you're looking for a bar/pub to watch sports.
