The food quality was very high, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, they were very authentic with a tomato sauce and sauteed onions and peppers, not spicy but I did ask for their home salsa and it brought up the spice level, the dish is served with homemade rice and beans, all well cooked. I also ordered a side of pancakes and bacon for my dad and they were perfectly cooked. The cost of the meal was very reasonable and worth the visit. We also ordered hot wings and specifically asked that they be cooked well done. They weren't. At every turn, something was wrong, and there seemed to be very little attention to getting the orders right or making sure the food was served hot and at the same time. Overall, just a really poor experience. Mistakes happen--we understand that. But when you combine incorrect orders, lukewarm food, an appetizer that wasn't prepared as requested, and poor communication with the customer, it adds up to a disappointing meal. We weren't expecting perfection or a five-star restaurant. We just expected our family to receive what we ordered, at a reasonable temperature, and to be able to eat together.
