They have a tasty amazing of sweet pastries and savory treats too (reminded me a little of Porto's back in Southern California). We had a beef empanada, a cinnamon roll, alfajores and coffee. The vibe is relaxed and they were playing some 80's Yacht Rock which is perfect when you're right across the street from the ocean. I think we found our new go to spot. read more

We love to come here for coffee and a pastry to take across the street to Honokowai beach park. Absolutely stunning views and the clearest water. The pistachio croissant is amazing. Oooh la la....we have an amazing new bakery on the west side! The decor is modern and welcoming, with art from a local artist (Melody Guini) making a beautiful and creative splash of colour on the walls. I received a friendly welcome from the staff and there is plenty of space to wait for your order, or sit and eat at one of the high tops against the back wall. If they provided more chairs/tables it might be nice, but that may come as there is room and they are still in the soft opening phase. They offer cool drinks and Bad Ass Coffee is next door if you want caffeine to accompany your bakery items. The food definitely has the WOW factor. We love empanadas and Miss Arepa on the west side and Momona in Kahului are good but this bakery is the best! Crunchy pastry outside, soft tasty filling, they deserve 10/10. Spinach empanada - so full, and luscious, and it actually tastes of spinach without too much spice to detract. Crunchy and luscious Cheese and Ham empanada - thinly sliced ham in an unctuous cheese sauce, you really taste the ingredients and the sauce is so moreish I also bought a couple of cakes for dessert (if they last that long!): Lemon Meringue - short pastry, sweet piped meringue and a beautiful lemon filling Fruit Tart - delicious custard with short pastry topped with a variety of fruit, although not enough fruit on the top according to Hubby who likes his fruit :) The prices are competitive for Maui, and the cakes are actually less than you would pay at Safeway yet much tastier. They are nicely packaged for gifting too. I would love to see larger sizes for celebration cakes :) While they don't currently offer Kamaaina rates they may once they are fully open and breaking even, which I look forward to. However I will still visit as their pricing is very competitive and their food definitely amazing. If you are on the west side do yourself a favour and drop by for the BEST empanada on the island, or a luxurious cake as a treat. read more

So excited to see a new bakery in the area! It's bright, fresh and inviting. It specializes in a mix of Argentinian and Hawaiian. The menu is medley of savory and sweet items. The Empanadas are served warm and flaky. Sandwiches look good. Will definitely try them next time. The pastries and cakes are lovely and tempting. Great place for breakfast and afternoon break. Love this new spot!! Went here twice and it was so yummy and fresh. We got the beef empanada as well as the corn and cheese empanada. Overall the corn and cheese was my favorite - get it warmed up!! Also got the avocado toast twice. So simple but such good flavors. I would prefer if the tomatoes were roasted. The sourdough is fantastic next time we plan to buy a whole loaf. My husband got the breakfast toast and added avocado. He said it was good but definitely needed the avocado. Service was friendly and the store is cute. They could add a couple more tables. I get that everything is more expensive in Hawaii, but a ham, egg, and cheese croissant for almost $15 with tax is outrageous. We got two croissant sandwiches and two bakery items and it was $50! It's so nice to have a new bakery available on the West side of Maui next to Bad Ass Coffee in Honokowaii. We made at least 3 visits. This is a small space more grab and go then sit and linger. Our favorites were the empanadas. So many flavors. We got at least 2 dozen while there as they make for a nice breakfast or lunch to reheat. The French inspired pastries were beautiful. We tried both a plain and almond croissant. I dont know how they do it in the humid environment but those croissants are crunch on outside and soft and buttery inside. The almond had such a beautiful flavor but wasn't weighed down by heavy almond paste. They also have a variety of sandwiches available on French bread or croissant. Their espresso is so smooth. Service can be slow and some items can go fast so dont give up on them. They are worth the wait and we will make this a regular stop on our annual visits. read more

We were greeted when we walked in with a hello and the delicious display of baked goods. We ordered a lilikoi bar, cinnamon roll, blueberry muffins, and chicken & beef empanadas. I came here everyday for six consecutive days for my savory breakfast fix as it's next to my favorite coffee shop - Bad Ass Coffee. Their sandwiches are made to order so you get hot, great tasting eats. Their beef empanadas, though small, are packed with flavor. As for their pastries, I thought they were just okay. Total wait time of 48 minutes, with 3 of those minutes being here at PAU. ;) PAUs were unanimously our favorite, although the edge was slight. PAUs was more soft, doughy, and yeasty versus the other place being super (overly?) sweet and buttery. Really down to personal preference. Came looking for croissant but ended up with a cinnamon roll. Thought it was gonna be sweet but it's actually more milky than sweet. It's a pleasant surprised and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The cinnamon roll isn't pastry soft, it's slightly more bagel soft, meaning it had a bit of a chew to it --if you're into that. Traditional cinnamon rolls, you get the sugar/cinnamon roll goo but you don't get it here. Guess the milky glaze makes up for it. It's pretty filling. So try when you're in the area. read more

First of all amazing cinnamon roll, initially we went to papi's but the line was too long so we ended up here and were not disappointed. The cinnamon roll was delicious and everything you want to be! Coffee was also delicious. The only bummer was I saw that they had Ube syrup and so I tried asking to have some of it in my latte but I don't think the person at the cash register, or the barista next to her knew what Ube syrup was and so even though I could see it behind the counter, I never got any in my latte. I spied a Lucious looking fruit tart nestled in amongst other tempting treats, and ordered that for myself, eager to take my first bite. Well, what a disappointment that turned out to be! It had obviously been stored uncovered in their walk in, so it had absorbed that stale taste things can get if not properly wrapped. The fruit looked MUCH better than it tasted. I frequently order the fruit tart from my local grocery store's bakery department, and it runs circles around what I got from this establishment. It was quite the letdown. read more

The only thing missing, which I told the staff, was chimichurri sauce. That would make the already wonderful empanadas taste even better. To finish that meal we got the balcarce cake, which was amazing. It's a sponge cake with dulce de leche, nuts, cream and Italian meringue. At our next meal here we had the smoked salmon sourdough toast, with a large helping of smoked salmon, sliced avocado, a sunny side up egg, and sprouts. It was great and filling! For dessert, we had a chocolate alfajor. I loved having alfajors when I visited Argentina and the alfajors here are as good as anything you'll get in Buenos Aires.
