But at this location I ordered the same steak and it was cooked to perfection. Everything that was ordered came out on a timely fashion and was hot. If you have seen my post with steaks I usually get a sweet potato which you cant mess that up but this time I tried there fire grilled corn on the cob. It was absolutely amazing. For the appetizer we tried the wild west shrimp. Oh my it could be a meal on its own. They should have that as an option for a side with a steak. They complement each other very well. I dont usually talk about simple drinks but I did try there half and half lemonade ice t. It was a perfect blend that my taste buds loved. Jist An even mix. Not to sweet not to tart.

The smell overpowers the food. Sad to say there's really not much to offer in the area for lunch since Fridays closed and brick house closed. Not bad. But could be better!

My wife and I have been romancing the idea of a trip to Jessica's for months. Are we classy enough?…read moreCan our simple palettes appreciate the medley of flavors throughout the menu? We decided it was worth the gamble, and boy did we hit the jackpot. We loved the BYOB option, proudly flaunting local beers while most tables had a bougie bin of ice helping to chill their wines. As we sipped on our own version of bubbly, we started with a couple of delicious appetizers - meatballs and fried burrata. While both were great, the meatballs were the clear winner, served hot in a small cast iron skillet. Moving to the main course, the pasta ragu was another hit. It had a bit of a peppery undertone, but wasn't spicy, just a wonderful blend of spices that gave it a unique flavor. For dessert, I had an apple-based dish that was a special that night. While again another creative showing, I think I'd stick to some of the simpler options on the menu (like a Caramelized banana split - YES PLEASE)

Funny thing: drinks menu is on the dessert menu not the main menu. We ordered the grilled octopus to share. It had a good amount of char and was tender. The beet salad was decent, a bit overdressed. The mushroom soup was creamy and strong in flavor (a good thing). For entree, we had the entree size lump crab crepe, braised short rib, filet mignon and seafood fettuccine. Depending on who you asked, everyone preferred their dish over the other. The lump crab crepe had enough crab meat and shiitake mushrooms to be filling, and was served in a satiny cream sauce. The filet was cooked to order and served with scalloped potatoes that had a nice parmesan flavor. The braised short rib was very tender albeit a small portion, served with silky mashed potatoes and baby carrots. The seafood fettuccine has a little kick and ample seafood, like mussels, prawns, scallops and squid. Outside of the menu, they also have prime rib and a tomahawk steak for 2. We finished the evening with their special lemon tart - definitely tart and lemony - in a shortbread crust and 2 orders of molten lava cake with raspberry coulis and vanilla ice cream. Everything was delicious and we will definitely come back.

I've had the pleasure of going to Sweet Waters many times and have been wanting to write a review…read more The last time I went to Sweet Waters was 2 weeks ago and myself and my coworkers had an amazing and delicious meal. Kenny my go to server once again did not disappoint whatsoever! He was gracious and really worked hard to fit our reservation in on a busy Saturday evening. We were a party of 8 and had a visitor in town who we wanted her to experience a wonderful and delicious dining experience, and that we did!! We started with some appetizers of Octopus, salad and shrimp, chorizo and artichoke dishes. All perfectly cooked and so delicious. We all had some yummy cocktails, one in particular which I can't remember the name was sooo refreshing, and it had some cucumbers. Next for entrees 2 of us shared a chateaubriand which came with 2 delicious and ample size sides.of truffle fries and asparagus. This was my first time trying chateaubriand and it was so tender, juicy and cooked perfectly, and a generous size portion for 2 ppl. My 3 other colleagues shared a porterhouse which came with 3 ample sides, once again truffle fries, Mac and cheese and mushrooms. And they all enjoyed immensely and not one morsel left. The 3 other colleagues and guest had filet mignon with mashed potatoes, a fish dish I can't remember with a side and the last coworker had a primavera risotto, not on the menu but Kenny so generously suggested and had made for her because she recently had some dental work and couldn't really bite anything too hard. For dessert we had 3 different types of dessert, tres leches, chocolate mousse pie and almond cake. All were so delicious but the Tres Leches was the BEST I've EVER HAD!!!! Sooo yummy and tasty! Overall just a truly wonderful dining experience with beautiful presentations, perfectly cooked food sooo good and satisfying and of course Kenny is hands down the best server at Sweet Waters!! Attentive, caring, friendly and so personable. Thank you Kenny!

Disaster for holidays- would NOT recommend…read more We had a reservation for 6:30 pm for Mother's Day, but we didn't get seated til 7 pm. They were running late since the whole front was full of people not seated. We ordered within 10-15 mins, however were told that they were out of a Mother's Day special and bread. BREAD! The excuse from a manager was that they ordered fresh bread from a vendor. What I gathered is that they did not take a look at their reservations, and decided not to order more to accommodate everyone. Mind you, it was only 7pm. The people behind us had been complaining of not getting their food, which should've been a signal. All around us, no one was getting their food, and the food coming out of the kitchen was sparse. Pretty sure they overloaded the kitchen staff, and the waiters took the heat because all I heard/saw was them apologizing for the long wait. If you ordered drinks or raw seafood, you got that ok. Otherwise, you would be SOL. We did not get any food until 8:20!!! And that includes our appetizers. Our entrees came out about 10-15 mins later because our waiter put in everything so there was no downtime. This included hungry children, which was just basically Mac and cheese, which we needed to be reheated cause it was so watery. All we got from the manager was a sorry. Even after we told them that this was bad managing of food service, number of reservations, etc. They did not offer any discount for the wait of our reservation or food. No 'hey', here's a complimentary dessert. Nothing but "sorry". Seems like a money grab that night. After spending $500-$600 on a very lackluster meal, which I feel many patrons that night felt, I would highly suggest spending your money elsewhere.
