How can I describe the service here? Our server was a little bit arrogant, he seemed to be somewhat high strung and impatient when it came to answering a simple question regarding the pizza. Also, he grabbed the menu and hit my friends head with the menu by accident, he didn't even bother to apologize. When it came to giving us the bill tho he was nice, wishing us a good holiday and thanking us. There was gentleman that was rolling up the silverware who brought out our pizza. He was kind and friendly. They should hire more people like him. The pizza itself was good, a 3.8/5. It's very gooey and the dough is flimsy. It was easier to eat the slices with silverware because the toppings would slide off each slice of pizza.There were tomatoes on our pizza, which made it juicier. Plenty of parking available. Great service. We originally went here to get pizza but ended up ordering spaghetti and a sandwich instead. Spaghetti - two meatballs, mushroom sauce. I've always thought you can't mess up spaghetti, but this place did. It tasted like something from a can. The sauce smelled weird and it was flavorless. Eggplant parm sandwich - probably the best eggplant sandwich I've ever had! Now this was flavorful! We sat at the bar and watched them make the pizza. Now we went during COVID-19 and I watched one of the person make the pizza without gloves and then assisted another customer and went back to making pizza without santisizing or washing his hands. Oh my goodness. This place is awful. Let us begin with the fact there was a squashed bug on the wall by our table. Then, when we finally got service we started with drinks and a salad to share. We got our salad. No drinks. We finished our salad. Still no drinks. We had to get our server's attention to ask for our drinks again. Next, when our server finally got around to us again we ordered our pizza. And we waited and waited and waited. Finally our server came back and said "they" (the pizza bakers) messed up our order and we could either have the pizza they made or wait for the one we ordered. We elected to wait . . . But then . . . our server asked us to confirm our order. We had to tell her again. She didn't write the order down and so she forgot it and blamed the other staff. She said her "boss" would make it right. We got the salad free. So we went back to waiting. Meanwhile 2 other tables and some people at the bar that came in after us got served. AND I assure you we overheard our server at ANOTHER table dealing with an incorrect order. That table appeared to accept the wrong order. Finally, we got our pizza. It was HORRIBLE! It was so salty if you ever lack electrolytes or wanna roll the dice on a kidney stone, you're covered. We should have double-checked reviews. We would have gone somewhere else. First place that we dined at in the Vail area and it was very ho-hum. We had a supreme pizza and it was not that good. We may have tried the wrong flavor but, as it is, this is what we chose and I would never order it again. It was very thin, the crust was very white (not baked enough) and the toppings were diced up (such as the green pepper) which is something I'd expect to see on a frozen pizza. We also had a house/garden type salad that we split that was just fine. The staff was OK. Not rude or anything but hardly a smile on anyone's face. The whole dining experience was average. I much prefer writing glowing reviews (which I do often) but I cannot think of anything outstanding or at a level to make it more than average. read more

I recently had an experience at Pazzo's and I wanted to share my thoughts on the matter. my overall experience was soured by the poor customer service we received. Initially, I was excited to try out the pizza. However, when we encountered an issue with the employee , my experience took a turn for the worse. He looked drunk out of his mind and had a disrespectful tone towards our group because we moved the tables together. Instead of politely letting us know he was extremely excessive and kept repeating the same thing as he passed by again, a couple minutes passed by and another employee passed by saying "who let them put the tables together" the same disrespectful guy responded "I don't know, they already moved them so whatever" so instead we stood up and took our service elsewhere. Overall, my experience with Pazzo's Pizza in Avon was disappointing due to the poor customer service we received. The disrespectful and frustrating response from their customer service has left me with a negative impression of the company as a whole. I would not recommend Pazzo's to others unless significant improvements are made to their customer service. read more

I had a huge craving for anchovies and green pepper as the only toppings on my pizza. I've learned that it won't go away until I feed the monster. Pazzos to the rescue. Walking in; the place seem like a neighborhood bar/pizza place. People seem to know each other. Fast service and with a smile! Wow! Their small pizza was like a large. Loaded with that darn anchovies and green bell pepper. Sooo good! The thin crust was good. Crunchy but still chewy and able to hold its toppings. You can't fu** my order. It's too darn easy! Pazzos Avon should be ashamed of how they treat their customers! We ordered pizza tonight and my father in law went to pick it up. When he walked in, he was greeted by a man yelling at him to get a mask on or "get the hell out", even threatening to call the cops on him! My FIL would have been happy to put a mask on, but we're from out of town and he didn't know the mask rules of this place, and completely missed the small sign on the door. No one at the bar was wearing masks, but for some reason my FIL should be treated like this?! How does a business talk to someone like this?! He ended up going all the way back to his car and getting his mask, came in and got the pizza. He left but forgot crushed pepper, so he went back in to ask for some, and the woman at the counter just threw it at him. No one should ever be treated like this. read more

I would love to tell you how the food was, but we didn't get to try it because from the second we walked in the door, 3 workers were literally screaming at me to cover my face with a mask. My husband was putting his on while we were walking in and they still continued to yell at him about it needing to cover his face. I told them I didn't have one. They told me to go to CVS to buy one. If you are going to require your customers to wear a mask, then you should be providing them. Does this place pay their employees extra to be maskholes and harass their customers? There is a right and wrong way to go about asking customers to put on a mask. Needless to say, we did not go to cvs to get a mask and return. Let's see if PAZZO's Pizza gets this comment removed. If you cannot stand bad publicity then don't be in business. Treat your customers with respect as they pay to keep your lights on. The sad part about this is employees don't care about the business it's not there investment. Normally I don't get worked up about a food joint, but this place is ridiculously dirty and the workers smoke and don't wash there hands. My suggestion for the cook and the little man syndrome bartender guy at the counter is don't act like you know what you're doing and then treat customers like crap. First and foremost my beer can was so gross with dirt and whatever else was on the top of the can. Great Pizza , John was a great waiter ,but they refused to seat us ( 2) at a table because they were for bigger groups , we sat at the bar and it was fine but not a table, all the empty tables were still empty when we left and one had a couple in a 4 seat table, the waiter that refused us a table was just trying to pad his tip reservoir , he was rude and if the reputation was not good we would have left. Will take some thought before a second visit , in Avon for a week and well could be a repeat customer. The place was actually getting rather empty when we left ....NO TABLE FOR YOU !!!! I first became familiar with Pazzo's when I was living in Cabo almost 17 years ago. My dad would take me on father-daughter dates there after a movie at Puerto Paraiso. Glad to discover it is the same ownership as the one in quaint Avon! After a day of snowboarding and depleted energy, we were craving something calorie loaded. Decided to check out Pazzo's. Our guys wanted pizza! They actually ordered their pocket pizzas which they loved. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that one pocket pizza had vegetables that they didn't order. A quick swap took care of that. Marinara was so tasty. My spaghetti primavera was fantastic! It was filled with perfect sized veggies and the sauce had just the right amount of heat.
