Excellent service, incredible atmosphere. I love this place. The service I received was excellent. I'm a beer fan, and they knew exactly the type of beer I like. The owners are very attentive. I really liked their snacks, the pickled eggs. You have to try them.

Came here for an engagement party so not sure how much I can review as 100% the establishment. Regardless, had a great time here and would 8/10 return. Had a beer to drink (forgot the name) as well as Pinot noir (Called Old Soul 2020 and honestly one of the best Pinots I've had). We were seated outside due to the large party for the engagement party. This was the height of the heat wave so it was pretty toasty though it was evening. They only had one fan outside but I've noticed that most establishments haven't had fans outside during this heat one. So one is better than none. UPDATE: they reached out, 5 stars

Found me another watering hole in the LBC Didn't know about this place as I guess it was closed for a while. Found it yesterday when looking for a place to go to, to drown my sorrows. Or at the least drink them away. Kidding aside ... On Willow. Southside of the street between Magnolia and Eucalyptus. No private parking lot. Street parking. Found a bunch on Eucalyptus and walked over. I don't trust parking on Willow. But you do what you feel comfortable. Service was awesome. Between Letty and Didi - hope I spelled their names right - my friend and I had a chill time catching up, out on their outdoor patio. On that note - there's seating both in and outside, two TV's and a pool table. Jukebox with a great selection of tunes. At least it was to me. For those who need to know - there's a gender neutral bathroom. Clean too. No food here but a lot of pours. Draft and both bottles and cans. Great Happy hour prices to where I questioned my bill because it was so low. Usually it's the other way around. You can bring food in or there's an agreement with the Bread Company. I really like this place. On my list of "definitely will be back".

Always wanted to check out this place after they took new ownership and remodeled the place. Service - The staff here is super friendly and very easygoing and will go out of the way to make your stay feel great. Venue - From outside the place looks tiny, but once you get inside, the place is a good size, and the outside patio is very chill and relaxing. Prices - Fair pricing. Drinks - They only serve beer and wine, but the selection is great, and they always have samples of different stuff. Food - They will soon get food going, but in the meantime, they offer some great Filipino style peanut and sometimes have colabs with food vendors that cook up a great meal. Overall, it was a great place and will be my go-to in accession.

PBS is a great spot in Wrigley, especially for taco tuesdays. The bartender is very nice. We had a La Chouffe and San Miguel as happy hour specials, then a passion fruit ale later on. Our shrimp tacos were good, but the chips and guacamole were excellent. Those may be the best fresh tortilla chips I've ever had. We don't live in Wrigley, but I wish our neighborhood had a PBS Pub too.

When they ask if you want peanuts, say yes!

STEPH JUDGEMENT: A great little neighborhood hang. Had a Tuesday night hang here with some friends who live around the corner and are now devoted regulars. It's small but very pleasant, with a lovely patio that feels like a friend's chill back yard, in the best sense. When it got a little chilly we moved it inside and had fun with the digital jukebox. They have a varied beer selection, from mass market lagers to local microbrews--something for everyone! They also have complimentary pretzels and homemade seasoned peanuts that are AMAZING. They have food vendors on the weekends, but no food otherwise, aside from the aforementioned snacks. I believe they're working on getting wine in there, which will be nice. The staff here are friendly and on the ball, including the owner, who took over the evening shift while we were there. Clearly it's a passion project for him and his wife, and I wish them all the success. Looking forward to my next visit...and more of those peanuts!

    High life and a burrito.

I think it's a perfect spot to grab some brews and a quick bite. The food here is way better than your average bar and it's very welcoming too. Walk in and you will see a bartender taking order and helping out the customers at the bar. There are also outside seating too. It was a bit loud when I walked in because they were doing a paint and sip with a movie. The movie was blasting so I was a little startled of what was going on haha. Per the menu, they have a lot of great sando options. I got there LB Grinder and it tasted almost like a pizza. The salad dressing and roasted cherry tomato stood out on the ciabatta bread and overwhelmed the taste of the overall sandwich. It was super good. Would definitely come back.

I came in again today to pick up an order and asked a simple question about the rewards program, and her response and overall attitude toward me were unnecessarily rude. What really stood out was seeing how friendly and attentive she was with another customer, Logan, immediately afterward. I understand that employees can have off days, but when the difference in treatment happens repeatedly, it becomes difficult not to notice. I'm not asking for special treatment--just basic courtesy and customer service. Unfortunately, these interactions have gotten to the point where they make me not want to return, and I would hesitate to recommend this location based on the customer service experience I've had. Beware, they don't respond too.

The location is great -- right in downtown, easy to find. The space is huge, with a downstairs, an upstairs, and a full restaurant on the opposite side from the bar area where we sat. Cool setup overall. The service is where it fell apart. We walked in and told the hostess there were two of us; she just said "sit anywhere" without showing us to a table or explaining how things worked. We sat in a booth for a while -- no menus, no server, nothing. My friend was very drunk and badly needed water, so eventually I went up to the bar myself to ask how it worked. Turns out you order everything at the bar -- but nobody tells you that up front. I had to go up three separate times: once to figure out the system and get waters, once to place our food order, and again later just to get a water refill. That last refill was the most frustrating part. The bartender who'd helped us earlier saw me standing at the end of the bar and just walked away. I waited and waited, didn't want to be that person yelling over other customers, and eventually another bartender helped me out. It really wasn't busy that night either, especially for a night with a whole festival happening nearby, so there wasn't a good excuse for it. On the plus side: my hamburger was genuinely really good, and the whole meal for two came out to about $30 -- the cheapest we ate the entire trip. My friend got a tomato pesto cheese sandwich, though he was too far gone to give me a real opinion on it. Food gets a thumbs up, but the lack of any real table service and being ignored at the bar soured the whole experience. Probably won't be back unless I hear the service has improved.

Fast forward to this past weekend for the USA World Cup game. We originally were planning on attending the street party that was happening on Pine Ave in downtown for the game. But when we arrived, there was a massive line just to get in. Just from the looks of it, the line didn't seemed to move and the game was starting. That's how we ended up here. The bar is just off the promenade in downtown. Clearly, there was no way we're waiting in the line for the street party. Instead, we remembered and seen this place. They too were showing the game so we walked in. There was a good amount of people on the patio area which they also had a television. Inside was a bit more mellow but it was picking up. With this bar, we got to sit down and enjoy the game with a nice cold beer. Happy hour was going on so they were having specials on drinks. Within minutes, it was starting to get packed as everyone was doing the same thing. Instead of waiting in line and the game was starting, this place was a better option. A nice open vibe bar. Plenty of seating inside as well as the outside patio which was pretty big as well. The ladies behind the bar were amazing. Busy as they were trying to take care of everything and everyone. Drink specials did sound nice but we opted for the happy hour beer. Bar area was quite roomy with communal tables as well a private table. Bar seating was great as the television was right in-front of you. The tufted leather seats, leather high top seats give it that cigar lounge. A cool spot right in the heart of downtown Long Beach. They didn't serve food but was informed that hat someone was serving classic hot dog and burger out front. Having walked in and enjoying this place, it was worth it. Also one of the bartender that worked at another place we've been to also worked here. The whole place was nice and greatly enjoyed. Will be back for sure.
