They now have kiosks for you to place ur order and you grab your own cups and some locations, like this one. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. I like the separation of the 2 dining rooms at this location. Staff is always friendly and they now deliver your food to your table. Mother day visit was pleasant. We were here at 11:40 that beat the church and crowd. Immediately after 12:10, the line is build up very quickly. Although they have kiosk order, but I prefer the counter order. I got the spicy chicken sandwich combo. The spicy chicken is always my favorite. Food is definitely prepare on the spot. First time here. Came highly recommended. The food was ready before we could even fill our drinks. We ordered 2 3 strip combo meals one with regular chicken and one with spicy. Both with waffle fries. One with PDQ sauce, and one with an add on of Korean chili sauce. The fries were dry and cold, so a bit disappointed. $8 Happy Meal?! I ordered PDQ for the first time in awhile and is it me or did the portions shrink? The price is about the same but the fries got smaller. I love PDQ and am really disappointed with the smaller sizes. I will definitely be thinking twice before going again in the future. This location does not miss! This location is by far the best in the Tampa Bay Area. Let me start by saying that the staff here is great! Specifically, the managers Robert and Marissa. Haven't been to PDQ since I moved from South Tampa. Came here wanting your Turkey sandwich and was told you no longer sell it. So I ordered the Mediterranean salad. What a disappointment! Very little salad. Grainy hummus without any pita chips or anything to scoop it. . The grilled chicken was dry and tasteless. $10.99 for a mediocre salad is a little much. I also got the zucchini fries. I was not offered the smaller side portion, but paid $5.49 for the regular portion. Over $17 for a sad dinner. read more

I'm not sure if it is just this location or if it's the whole chain, but this place is ALWAYS on point! The food has never been anything less than fresh, delicious, and delivered with a smile. I absolutely love their sauces! I'm not sure if they are made in the house but they certainly taste like it! They don't taste like the packaged stuff from other fast food chains with extra ingredients you can't pronounce. It literally tastes like the stuff I make at home! I also love being able to order on their app and having it ready in 5 minutes! The only feedback I could give is I wish they would give more dressing with salads. I love PDQ. Why?? It's perfect comfort food. Waffle fries. Crispy chicken tenders. All smothered with their insanely delicious sweet creamy sriracha sauce. Just left a Yelp event overly sugared (but happy) when I knew I needed some real food like a responsible grown up, so of course I went for chicken strips with fries. I did add a side salad for good measure, so I could feel like guilty. As I digress, I love PDQ. Tenders are perfect fat, juicy, and crisp on the outside and go amazing with my fave sweet sriracha sauce. Their waffle fries were also perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. I rarely do drive through, but I was feeling extra lazy and tired, and wanted to not get out of the car and park yet one more time, so I opted this way. Luckily, the wait was not long at at all, and in no time, I got my food before I could even have chance to check in on my phone. I was so pleased that they gave me more than enough sauce to smother the fries and tenders to the very last bite, which stayed perfectly hot even during the long journey back home. I just wanted to get out of the house and try a place that I hadn't been to for some time. Driving along Dale Mabry I came across PDQ in Carrollwood. The last time I went to one of their outlets was about 7 or 8 years ago when I worked near their test kitchen off Independence Parkway. I was pleasantly surprised to find out their food is still made with tasty ingredients. The grilled chicken sandwich (didn't try the meal) is your basic combo with lettuce, slices of pickle, fresh tomato and mildly seasoned chicken breast meat. The vegetables are all very fresh, crispy and moist which handily offsets the natural dryness of breast meat. Even the bun was fresh! At $7 it's definitely worth it if you're hungry but not starving enough to order the meal (roughly $11). read more

And yes... I could have gotten up and wandered over to the counter, and asked for the other sauces... and I am sure they would have been happy to give me some. But I didn't... Salad was ok... crispy tenders in the salad were ok. Dressing was ok. Tenders were ok. I would eat here again... although if a slightly less healthy fried chicken competitor was closer... FYI... I didn't know they served grilled tenders... They are tasty and full of flavor! I found out this evening that they will also replace the bun for a lettuce wrap for those of us counting calories and or not trying to have more carbs. I also enjoyed the salads. I'll start by saying I love PDQ and would usually give them 5 stars. I went to this location today which I don't go to often, and ended up disappointed. I ordered the Classic Salad with crispy chicken, and found a ton of gross, slimy lettuce in the salad. I think they use a spring mix and iceberg lettuce, and it seemed like the spring mix had gone bad. I had to pick out all of the nasty pieces that were almost liquified. Not sure why they wouldn't just skip the spring mix and use all fresh iceberg lettuce. I was still able to eat it and the chicken was great per usual, but I hope there isn't a pattern here of using bad lettuce. Gross. On a positive note, the drive through was pretty quick for lunchtime and my fries and sauces were great. My favorites are the honey mustard and buffalo blue sauces. PDQ is a nice option to have for a drive through since I don't eat at McDonalds, BK, Wendy's or other typical drive throughs. read more

I love that the chicken is FRESH! I got the Cali bowl and it was some pretty amazing stuff! I actually crave it! The staff is super friendly and there is a fried and grilled option to everything. Not even the worlds greatest dip, ranch, could help these tenders No lemonade available. Fries way overcooked, in fact a few burnt. Restaurant kitchen disheveled and quite frankly gives concern of reasonable cleanliness. Employee hygiene a major concern except for the kid taking orders. I give this place 4 stars based on quality and quickness. 3 stars for taste. I love to go to PDQ based on how clean and fast they are. I've tried several menu items so I have to say that the chicken is good, but not without a sauce. The salads are fresh and the house made sauces/dressings are fantastic. That being said, I'm in love with the buffalo chicken sandwich. I get the meal with fries, ranch and ketchup for dip, and I get an Arnold Palmer to drink. I don't eat ranch on salads. I only use ranch to dip fries in with ketchup. I do this with all fries everywhere because I really don't like fries that much. 3 places that I will order a full meal with fries: chick fil a, Wendy's and PDQ. However the ranch is so good at pdq that I also dip my buffalo chicken sandwich in it. I love blue cheese so you would think that I'd use the blue cheese sauce, but for the first time ever I prefer the ranch on the buffalo sauce! The tea and lemonade isn't extra sweet, so I ask them to fill my cup with half lemonade and I fill the rest with sweet tea to get my Arnold Palmer. I don't mind sweet on either , but some joints make sweet tea and lemonade too sweet. PDQ has it right. If you've read any of my previous reviews you know I'm a germaphobe. So, I love the fact that there's a place to wash hands right in the dining room. This means I don't have to worry about touching the bathroom door after a hand wash! My kids love the meals here. My husband love the meals here. I only love my go-to meal, but that's good enough for me to frequent the place. If you are a chick fil a lover (the chicken is tasty all by itself) then don't order tenders on its own at PDQ or you'll be disappointed. Definitely dress the tenders with one or two of the house made sauces. read more

The food was good but the place was filthy. We arrived at 11am, opening time for dine-in lunch. There were a few customers. Half of the tables were filthy, like they were never cleaned. The drink area was dusty with layers of crumbs so we chose to eat outside. It was no better, there was food crumbs and trash on the floor, not clean. The new mac and cheese was taken back because it tasted like boiled noodles with canned cheese sauce. Not made by People Dedicated to Quality.
