Ive been coming here for years. I used to LOVE this place and gladly drive the 40 minute round trip. On my last TWO visits in a ROW I received plain buffalo sauce instead of the buffalo bleu that I ordered. I come here basically for this sauce. When I tell people why I like PDQ better than Chick Fil A, I tell them about the sauces. This is unacceptable for it to happen twice in a row. Maybe the person in the drive thru was trying to be so quick that they reached back when they heard me say buffalo and didn't hear me say bleu. Whatever the case may be I will literally NEVER return. We showed up at 9 and thought we had missed them. Back in town from the DMV area and we have missed our PDQ. I can't tell you how many birthdays and events we have had with PDQ as the staple so we were bummed thinking we had missed out. This restaurant delivers quality with a smile. We were greeted with a friendly "hello" when we walked in. Their menu is full of fresh healthy choices and some not so healthy ones. (These are the ones I choose.) I had the Cali Club and my friend chose the Crispy Chicken sandwich. Both were very satisfying and tasty. The restaurant is very clean and has a very modern look to it. Well, it is fast food, but the spicy chicken is pretty tasty and the service was efficient. Wish they offered fried Okra as a side dish, but I can vouch for the smashed potatoes, red beans and rice, and the corn. Wanted to try PDQ since I heard about one opening in Tampa, glad they made it out to Pasco! My wife and I visited PDQ on Sunday at lunch time, and it was packed since this was only their second weekend open. I expected a long wait to order since the line was almost to the door, but it moved fairly quickly. Wife and friend ordered chicken salads, I got a grilled chicken sandwich, my 3.5 year old got the chicken tenders. While we waited for our orders, we went to make our drinks where they have those cool "flavor your own Coke" machines. It took a little while to get drinks because each person takes about 30 seconds to make their selections, but I imagine the wait will be less once this place isn't brand new. I actually opted for an iced green tea/sweet tea mix instead of a Coke product, but still had to wait to get ice from the machine. No big deal. I swear it took them no longer than 3 minutes to have our orders ready, they called our names over a nice loud speaker to let us know the order was up, and we found some seating surprisingly quickly with how crowded it was. On my way to sit down, a PDQ employee noticed I was carrying my baby daughter in a car seat, so he went and got me a car seat stand, so that was great (and appreciated) service. My chicken sandwich was fine and dandy, and the fries were even better...reminded me of Five Guys, but a bit crispier and a little smaller cut. My wife thought her salad was "fine", not bad, but nothing to write home about. My son's tenders tasted nice and fresh (yeah I stole a bite or two), not overly salty like most places. All-in-all a nice experience and I'd definitely eat here again due to the great service and reasonable pricing. I'd choose PDQ over Chick-Fil-A if I had to. Tidbits: They have at least 2 large flat panel TVs where they had sports stations on, great for me. I've eaten at several PDQ locations and have always had tremendous service and coupled with excellent quality food; however, this particular location is not the place for me. Typically I am not one to talk about race but this place and its employees are a disgrace. Watching a Caucasian man being treated far better than I (although we placed the same order) was extremely disheartening. My food was poorly made yet his looked fantastic. Not to mention the fact that they "forgot" to put the bacon, avocado, and ranch on my sandwich. When I approached the manager about my ill-prepared order she offered to remake the meal with no compassion whatsoever. The final product that came back to me almost 10 minutes later.... The exact same turkey breast that I gave back- it was cold. The fries were the same-cold. And my fiancé, well, she waited the 10 extra minutes to eat her food but by that time her food was also cold. Needless to say, we took a few bites and threw away $23.76. Makes me wonder if I would have had the same experience if I were the Caucasian guy that ordered AFTER me. read more

I like this place. It is clean, quick, and not that far from home. I ordered their chicken tenders and it is strips of breast meat, floured and fried with ranch like seasoning. It wasn't dry, which I liked a lot. The fries weren't crispy, so I didn't like it at all. There give you choices of dipping sauce and the sauces are tasty. It has a 60's diner like feel to it. There is a high tech fountain drink dispenser! They did mess up my order a lot. I was charged for fries when I should have gotten it as part of my meal. But get this: I ordered the cole slaw instead of the fries. So they ended up charging me for 2 side orders of fries and gave me only 1 order. read more

We wanted to try this new fast food chicken concept. It is in front of Sam's Club on SR 56 in Wesley Chapel. The map on Yelp's site has it east of Bruce B. Downs....that is wrong....it is west of Bruce B. Downs. I had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fries and it was fantastic. The Iceburg Lettuce was a nice big chunck and fresh (not just a wilted leaf or two like most places). The chicken was a good size. The fries were OK. My wife had a chicken (not fried) salad and said it was very good. They have the new Coke machines that you can combine flavors with any Coke product via a touch screen. It was cool!! The place is large and modern, not you average fast food joint. The name is approperate as the food was ready Pretty Damn Quick. Never heard of PDQ until I came to FL so this was my first time. Came here because I spent too long at the shopping center after a workout and was HUNGRY. I've never been here, so it was nice that close to 9pm no one was there so I could thoroughly read the menu on the wall. However, by the cash register there's a whole other menu I was unaware of! Anyways, I ordered the chicken tenders and fries...someone told me this place is better than chick-fil-a, so I needed something simple to compare the two. I will say, I really can't compare their chicken strips, PDQ had really good chicken, it was fresh, hot, and fell apart perfectly. Also, they have regular fries...not waffle fries. I was really disappointed by their fries, they weren't crisp...kind of soggy like, and it wasn't as hot as I was expecting. I love those coke drink machines were it has the touch screen and you have like 100 different drink options (water, non-soda, soda). Reason I gave them 4 stars: cleanliness--pristine and they have a communal sink that's not in the bathroom (cuts on wait), very nice staff, tender chicken, and I like their drink machines. Not saying I wouldn't come here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice of fast food. read more

PDQ is OK. I think I'd feel differently if I had kids because it seems like a great place to take kids and the prices are right. Having said that...my husband and I were passing by this weekend and we decided to try it. The menu is VERY small and there aren't much options for a healthy minded individual. This was weird because the restaurant advertises serving fingers, salads, and sandwiches. The place was decorated kind of neat and the service was good. The salad I ended up ordering tasted really good but I wish that it had more dark lettuce instead of all iceberg (but this is probably why the salad was considerably cheap). However, there was a lot of really tasty chicken on top which basically made the salad. I wish they didn't use styrofome plates, ect...my fork kept going through the bottom of the plate and it's not very environmentally friendly! read more

Chicken is fresh and moist, fries are hand cut and yummy and I usually get the kids meal because it has so much food in it (no silly toys!!!!) the homemade lemonade is YUM!!! I also really like the Buffalo bleu dipping sauce. read more

I used to come here frequently, but the "Q" (quality) is diminishing. On this visit, the floor was dirty; they no longer offer the service of tossing your salad; the cups went from great sturdy styrofoam to flimsy cardboard: the lids barely fit the cups and come off easily; they've gotten chintsy on the dressing; and the handwashing sink was out of order. Their crispy salad is STILL good and the green tea is refreshing. Frankly, PDQ has moved from the feeling of being a reasonably priced restaurant to just another fast food joint. Sad! read more

There is nothing fast food feeling about this place. I mean unless you want to count the drive through aspect, but that's a pro for those of us on the go. I've been to this location a couple of times since it opened and I am very impressed with the quality of food and service this place offers up. The menu items, no matter what I have ordered, are very fresh and you can tell they use quality ingredients in their menu items. Recently during high volume hours they even have staff situated in the drive through line to take your order to keep the flow moving faster than just placing your order at the main window. read more

I've been coming here since the day it opened in 2012 and mostly loved it because it was quality food delivered fast. Usually the Crispy Chicken sandwich is a perfectly sized chicken breast although lately I've been receiving a pounded out thin chicken patty instead. Either the crispy chicken sandwich is getting smaller or there's more of an inconsistency with it. Wish I would've taken a pic of the 1/8" pounded out patty with 1/4" of breading. Buffalo Chicken Sandwich..... delicious! Fresh and came with fresh cut fries. Not as greasy as Five Guys, you don't have to wipe your hands off every fry. You can also substitute fries for their blueberry coleslaw. I had an Oreo Hand Spun Milkshake, (to die for) creamy, think, yummmm They have a cool soda fountain, that has 100+ drink choices. Who wouldn't love mixing up the original Cokes, Dr. Peppers, Mountain Dews..... Great service, at the drive in they ask for your name when you order, then when you get to the window, they acknowledge you by your name! Inside, they take your order and as well, call you by name to pick up. You can see your food being made which is nice, you see what all they are putting into it. This place was a really good alternative to traditional fast food. Everything is really fresh and delicious! The spicy buffalo sandwich was great with just the right amount of spice! It's a little messy so make sure you have lots of napkins handy. We also tried the crispy chicken salad which was also really fresh! The fries are hand cut and pretty good, but I would have liked for them to be a little more crispy. Make sure you grab a table before you order cause it was pretty packed when we visited. I'm not sure if I've ever written two 5 star reveiws in one day but when tey deserve it... PDQ stands for People Devoted to Quality and I saw that in my visit for lunch today. I ordered the chicken strip meal and my wife had the chicken sandwich. Both were very tastey. The fried breading is very light and not very greasy but still very flavorfull. Just the right proportions of chicken, breading, and spices to perk up my day. The fries are also very good. They are natural cut fresh sries, but a little bit thinner than plaes like 5Guys and Burger Monger. The service here also deserves special attention. The staff was friendly, attentive, and personable. It even looks like they have two guys acting as chefs controlling the whole prep area and making sure of the quality of each meal before it goes out. I've never seen something like this in a fast food place. Next time you have a taste for some chicken, I recomend PDQ for a quality experience and meal. read more

I have visited twice and have to say, stick to the program! First visit was rather unimpressive, mainly because of the lack of service. Our food came out quickly. We sat at their bar next to the kitchen and were not acknowledged by the many staff members and managers working there that evening, but they were pretty busy. The Turkey sandwich (I got grilled, my husband got the fried version) were okay, but not really a standout. Price for the product was more than reasonable. Second visit was much better as we ordered their chicken tenders meals, at the drive thru window. Staff there was fabulous! Items were packed nicely in a large tote bag for us and it was fast and fresh :) Their chipotle barbecue sauce is really tasty! Next time, I want to try one of their salads. read more

What I love about this place is that they have a huge sink to wash up right in front of the store!!!!! It's so nice to easily wash my hands and my kids hands before and after they eat, instead of lugging them to a questionable bathroom. Hopefully more people will use the sinks before eating .... Get the message people wash your hands!!! My kids love the drink machine and they enjoy the kids meals. I like that it is clean and the food is not bad. read more

The crispy turkey breast sandwich is great! Nice juicy meat with a nicely done breading with fresh tomato and lettuce. My most recent visit was a drive through. The line was wrapped around the building, but they managed to get everyone through quickly and with correct orders (mine was right anyway). Good job PDQ! read more

Ok, so I'm going to give it a 3. Why? Because I ordered the wrong thing, however I'm also one who believes that if you offer it on your menu- then it should be good. Period. Upon entering, we were greeted by someone who may be the manager. Let's just say he may have been the nicest person I have ever met in my entire life. Just a really good guy who wanted you to enjoy your experience at PDQ. This is where things went awry. So I'd been eating fairly unhealthy on this trip and we were into Day 7- I wanted to curb the damage- and decided to go with the grilled chicken salad with some blueberry dressing. BIG mistake. It really sucked- like maybe one of the worst salads I ever had the displeasure to eat. Ok, with that said, there is a level of unfairness here in that PDQ seems to be all about their fried chicken varieties. I ate grilled chicken- thus don't take what I have to say completely to heart BUT again- recall that it IS on their menu for a reason. My wife bought a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Yes, this was much better however I don't like most Tabasco pepper based sauces which I understand is what makes the flavor of Buffalo wings. There's something about it that's just not appealing to me however I can tolerate it. This was no different, but I'm also evaluating it on the chicken quality, the crisp factor, and how well it gelled with the bread, lettuce, blue cheese sauce etc. It was a GO! But, the chicken is not as seasoned as other establishments; while it's moist/tender, it's lacking in flavor...I found myself dousing it with sauces or salt for a more enjoyable experience. The seasoning in the bowls with rice and beans is outstanding; they stand out and outshine the chicken. I have been to PDQ many times, but my most recent visit definitely reminded me I should share my experience! I was enrolled in a training that day that was nearby. My coworkers and myself decided on PDQ for lunch. I ordered the Queso Crunch Bowl (which is incredible) and it was great as always. I also ordered an order of the apples with caramel toffee dip (because how can you not?!) My coworkers each also ordered one of the newer bowls that they offer and enjoyed their meals as well! We also ordered the new Zucchini Fries to share and the did not disappoint! They had so much flavor and crunch! :) Our experience got even better when an employee came to our table and asked if we would like to try a milkshake. Honestly, I had not ever had a milkshake there, but they sounded delicious! I was a little confused at first and thought maybe they had accidentally made an extra or something, but she informed us that we could choose our own flavors so we did. They just wanted to introduce us to their amazing milkshakes....well their plan worked because I now will be getting those along with my usual order! :) That was so kind of them and it truly made our day!! :) read more
