I wish I could give this company 10 stars! Matt, the sales person did a excellent job of explaining the different types of system Pearce carries. He was honest, very professional and answered any question I had. I wish there were more sales people like him in this industry. Anthony and Tim (the installers) were beyond excellent and made the install process smooth even though the job was a challenge. They went above and beyond to make me happy and satisfied as a customer. They were very polite and honest guys. I wish there were more people like them in this industry as well. I can tell customer service is #1 with Pearce Heating and Air. When we were trying to figure out an issue that came up, Anthony told me if I'm not happy as a customer, they won't leave my house until I am happy as a customer and want to make sure things are done right. I was amazed by his comment because this is something that is unheard of with other companies. Pearce Heating and Air has been wonderful to do business with. I am so glad my friend referred Pearce to us when we were searching around for an HVAC company. She needed repairs on her York system and had nothing but nice things to say about Pearce. I will definitely spread the good word/advertise Pearce Heating and Air among my friends, colleagues and neighbors. Amazing!!! I am so happy to have found a great AC company that is honest and friendly! Our a/c was out and I called several people that couldn't come out until the following week. I chose this local small business to install my Quiet Cool attic fan out of four other companies. My choice was based on 1) my personal interaction with the company representative. 2) the equipment manufacturer, and 3) cost. This company was not the cheapest, however, my personal perception of the sales rep sealed the deal with me. The most important aspect was the installer, Anthony, who came in and explained what and how he was going install my unit. He was clear in his explanation, answered all questions without hesitation. Our A/C went out last night and as I write this it is close to 105* and cannot even get an HVAC company to answer the phone... Pearce answered their phone AND is sending a tech out between 2-4 today! Did I mention it's Friday noon and 105* outside?? Had Pearce install all new HVAC system and new ductwork. Unit froze over on first day and after a month and a half, they still have not fixed. Called many times asking to speak with a manager and never once received a call back. I paid $15k for a system that does not work as it should. I would never recommend them to anybody. Unfortunate because the installers and office staff have been great to work with, just ineffective in resolving the problem. read more

Our AC unit stopped working at the beginning of a heat wave. We had another company come out and said our unit needed to be replaced. We wanted to get another opinion before we made such a big investment. We called Pearce and they came out and told us a new unit wasn't necessary. Customer beware indeed!! Pearce Heating and Air put in two new units in our home plus all new ducting at our request. We reduced our PGE bill from up to 1000 to 250 dollars a month and under. This winter our heater wouldn't ignite and cold air would push through the vents. We called Pearce HVAC and they fixed it no problem. The technician was very polite and explained the problem well. We even signed up for their twice-a-year maintenance package. This summer, our AC was not cooling down the house, or it would take a long time to do so. When Pearce came out for our maintenance check, the technician (I think his name was Travis) came, checked things out, gave our AC a good cleaning of debris, etc and replaced a part. He was very friendly and polite. A few days went by and our AC wasn't cooling down the house at all and it was in the middle of a heat wave. So I called Pearce back and they made an appointment for the next day. It was the same technician so he was familiar with our unit. He realized that we had a leak in the unit. He was very apologetic for not catching this during the maintenance check. We were given a very generous discount without even asking. The leak was fixed and again our technician was very kind and explained everything to us. Our AC is working great again and we are so happy to have Pearce HVAC locally as they do great work and have awesome customer service. read more

I had two new heat pumps and associated air handlers installed in my house by Pearce. The systems had been working very well but I decided it was time for a check up. The Pearce service man came out and spent over two hours in a very thorough check of all components of both systems. He was very considerate in wearing protective socks over his shoes while in the house. He wrote up the findings on each sub system he checked. In addition to this professional competence, he was also very pleasant in the occasional conversations that arose as he checked air flow in various ducts. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this check up was free as part of the original purchase. It was a service I will be happy to pay for in the future. read more

Customers beware of this company..they came by to fix a Leak on my AC the tech said I had. Two days later notice it was leaking at the same spot.they charged me 1000 dollars to do a repair they said they so called did..when I called to have a tech come back out they wanted to charge me a extra fee to come back out for there. Mistake ..when I told them I'm going to complain the owner said deal with it..don't be fooled by this company they claim they do good business because there in a small town.
