This place has pretty good food and the server is attentive even though I saw only one or two servers for the entire place. She kept coming with coffee and made sure we were taken care of even though you'd think she might not have time to take care of all the tables and cash everyone out and seat them but she handled it. During a recent training class I attended at the PCC, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service offered by the Club's restaurant. The facility is located on the lower level of the Club overlooking the golf course with Pearl Harbor in the distance. Seating was available inside, but also plenty outside on the lanai. During my morning, I had various hot teas and pastries, all were fresh and delicious. For lunch, a lunch of white fish with shrimp, peas, carrots, broccoli, and rice was provided. The fish came in a white sauce with very subtle flavor. A side salad of dark fresh greens in a balsamic vinaigrette was surprisingly perfect. Everything was crisp and flavorful. Presentation was also nicely done and appreciated. Dessert was two kinds of cake plated together, a light white cake and a chocolate ice cream cake, both drizzled with chocolate syrup, blueberries, strawberries, and mint. I had many fresh brewed iced teas with lemon. Service was also wonderful- the waitresses went out of their way to make our class comfortable and went beyond just putting out food. My hubby's uncle's 60th wedding anniversary was held here in one of their private rooms. Service was outstanding - our plates were cleared promptly, and there were a lot of servers walking around with water and coffee. The food trays were always filled and replaced when running low on food. Dinner consisted of a buffet of tossed salad, jello, mac salad, noodles, teri chicken, teri beef, and fish. The fish was the only disappointment - it was very dry, but everything else was good. For dessert, we had haupia cake, chantilly cake, and a custard/pumpkin pie. I spotted empty cake containers with "Larry's Bakery" in the trash, so I guess they outsource their desserts for their special events. We made our way to PCC restaurant. Breakfast is served bright and early at 0600-10:30am. We ordered our breakfast which consisted of miso soup, grilled salmon, your choice of white or brown rice and an egg cooked to order served with tsukemono and daikon. They serve Lion coffee which is a local roaster of Kona coffee in Hawaii. Off to a great start! Our server Annie was really nice and attentive despite the busy dining room of golfers. The ambiance is very casual with a good amount of seating and large screens TVs to watch or you can take in the view of the golf course. The breakfast was very good and such a heathy choice. The miso soup was flavorful with wakame and tofu. The salmon was grilled perfectly and the skin was delicious. The tsukemono or pickled vegetables were a nice compliment to the dish and the brown rice. We will definitely return for breakfast. read more

Had a day convention here for the Buddhist Women's Association (BWA). I filled in as the organist for the service and I got to participate in the meeting, lunch and entertainment. The restaurant was such a great venue for the convention- a lot of space and it was indoors. Audio system was very good also. In the morning we had a table set up with bread pudding and coffee & tea. I'm not the biggest fan of bread pudding but it was actually not bad. I did take out the raisins; or as much as I could. The vanilla sauce topping was off to the side and you could add as much or little as you wanted. I did have a small piece after the morning service. For lunch, we had green salad, somen salad (yum), some chicken dish with mushroom sauce, and a fish entree. Dessert had chocolate, red velvet and one other (i don't remember the 3rd) cakes. The red velvet was uber delicious and I wanted to eat the entire thing. haha. Anyway, I really like this space, the wraparound veranda made it easy to get from the back of the room to the rest room without disturbing everyone in the room and it's also where the food line was set up so it was easy to get your food and come back inside. I always come here for Mother's Day Brunch with the family. The food is always delicious. This year they had roasted pig carving station, prime rib carving station, crab leg station, and oyster bar, in addition to their brunch buffet, salad/fruit/pupu station and make your own omelet station. They also have a dessert station with a chocolate fountain, fruits, macaroons, cakes and pie. They do a raffle tickets drawing for all the mothers. It's a fun event. One of my favorite breakfast spots! Easy parking and the view of the golf course and Pearl Harbor is just beautiful. The workers are always so very nice and checks in regularly enough to make sure everything is ok. The price is very reasonable, I think between $9-$16 and that's not bad at all. Their Kalbi is sooooo good (not included in the picture)! I get it with scrambled eggs and white rice, but it also comes with kimchee on the side that is delicious. I can't think of a single reason why I wouldn't like this place. Can't wait to go back for breakfast. I'll definitely have to try out their lunch menu someday. read more

This is a very nice and well put together setting to celebrate mother's day with the family. They vastly inproved from the previous years. It was breakfast. Can't mess that up right? It was ok. I had the corned beef hash, eggs, and rice and it was ok. I do miss the old menu with the big fried rice breakfast. If I had that now it would have cost around $12 with substituting this and that versus the $7 it was before. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Change is inevitable and sometimes better. Myself and my fiancé booked the restaurant and venue for our wedding nearly a year ago. Every question and concern regarding the ceremony was fielded immediately. Our calls and emails were answered with precision and gave us true peace of mind that our event was in good hands. Yesterday was our big day and we wanted to give thanks to the wonderful staff and service at the Country Club and restaurant. Without them, none of it would have been possible. The ceremony itself was beautiful with their immaculately kept greens as a background along with a breathtaking view of Pearl Harbor. Although the ceremony didn't start off on time as scheduled (last minute hair stylist issues) the staff assured us that everything was all good. when i hear "country club" i envision snooty couples in matching argyle cardigans, strict rules and stuffy staff. this isn't the case for Pearl Country Club's restaurant, hidden on the lower level near the golf course - you don't have to be a member or even play golf to eat here! the ambiance is Ige's-like (plain white room with tables and chairs), local servers saying "see ya next week" to the local regulars, and last but not least, good homestyle food. we went for breakfast but i was surprised at the variety offered for lunch, pupu and dinner, from ahi poke and burgers to saimin and donburi! due to the appetizing color pictures on the menu (love that btw!) i was eyeing the katsudon, but at this time of day we were limited to brekkie. we ordered the usual suspects: pancakes, eggs, bacon, arabiki sausage, omelet, hashbrowns, and even a "japanese breakfast" of grilled salmon, miso soup, egg and rice. everything was A-OK, filling and served with a smile. they didn't flinch at the toddlers running around or that we stayed alittle longer to chat. prices were also decent at $6-9 as some items were specially priced on the "early bird" menu (served 6-9 a.m.). one day i hope to return to try the katsudon and other local japanese dishes, maybe we'll even sit outside to enjoy the peaceful view of the golf course. it may be more like going to aunty's house than a "country club," but beg-your-pardon, i think i like it that way! read more

RAMEN BURGER?! yes. i came for the ramen burger. my friends invited me for this wonderful adventure and i was not disappointed! parking lot is big, so no problems finding a space (even on the weekend). to get to the restaurant, climb down the stairs to the left of the clubhouse. it's on the bottom floor past the bathrooms. nice view of the golf course. friendly staff and clean bathrooms. it's a country club right, so no hobos around to mess things up. now the ramen burger. it was $9 for the burger and fries. the burger was handmade and quite juicy. yum! the burger comes between the ramen buns (like cake noodle) with lettuce, tomato and onions. and there's a random carrot stick on the side too. i ate everything. i did. i had an empty plate. and i ate it all with my hands. the burger is served with a fork and knife, since it is a country club and people are a little more fancy here. but not me! i picked up the burger, never put it down, and ate the whole thing. they waitress smiled at me. was i the first person to do this?! eat it with my hands? was it wrong?! but it was so good! and i didn't want to use a fork. who does that? oh yah, my brother and my friends did. hahahah... i got filty dirty, and used tons of napkins afterwards... and i had to go wash my hands before getting in the car to drive home, but man. that was a good burger. i might have just been super hungry, but i'd definitely go again to get my hands on those noodles! i have to say it was a great experience, and for the guys like me that missed out on the original when it was here, this is a pretty good ramen burger. it's cheaper, it's homemade, and you don't have to wait 4 hours to get one. come try for yourself! read more

Customer service is amazing!! Seriously! I needed a venue two days before my event and the coordinator (or whatever her position is) Mandy was so awesome! She helped my find just the right amount or space for my venue and was really accommodating to the amount of guests I had. She didn't try to sell me anything more than I needed like other places. Food--was yummy! The Korean Grilled Chicken and Steamed Ginger Mahi was delicious! Also the salad buffet had some kind of salad with sprout and watercress that I could not stop eating! Room--very nice and elegant. I did add my own centerpieces but you would need to do that anywhere else right? Very clean and had everything I needed: sound system, podium, etc. Overalll awesome service, good food, reasonable price! My fam bam have been regulars here at the Pearl Country Club Restaurant ever since we were kids. We celebrate Mother's Day every year here taking in the beautiful sights of the lush green golf course and stuff ourselves silly with the food. There is a large buffet which included: omelette station, array of fresh fruit, noodles, fresh raw oysters, crab legs, prime rib station, waffles, eggs benedict, and breakfast meats (bacon and sausage). There is an entire row of desserts: Dave's ice cream, chocolate covered strawberries, pies, cakes, and bread pudding. The overall atmosphere is very relaxed with cute decorations displayed on the buffet tables. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, with outdoor seating on the lanai overlooking the golf course. This morning was sunny and breezy keeping everyone cool. There are rows and rows of ample parking with guys on golf carts ready to shuttle you to and from your car. We were greeted by friendly hosts and once we were seated, service was accommodating. All Mothers receive free raffle tickets, with prizes called out throughout the morning to the winning ticket. Prizes include fresh red roses and free passes to play golf. Families also receive a complimentary photograph that is redeemed at the photo booth station that's located by the entrance. The line to take photos with your family gets busy fast but worth the wait if you'd like to capture a priceless moment with your loved ones. Since we live nearby, we go there often for breakfast and occasionally for lunch. We always sit outside and I gave an extra Star because the View of the golf course, overlooking Pearl Harbor is Outstanding! Overall, I would say that the food is "Pretty Good", but the prices are very reasonable and did I mention The View? The service is very friendly and the place is casual - it's a Golf Course. They have cocktails and beer. Breakfast is the real bargain - it's rarely ever crowded, the food is good. The Fried Rice is excellent and we all love the Banana Pancakes. It's a lovely calm and peaceful setting not two minutes from the rat race of Pearlridge Mall. Where else can you get an decent meal, reasonably priced, dining outdoors with a world class view in the Pearl City / Aiea area? No place that I know of - Highly Recommended. read more

Stopped in for early Sunday breakfast, 7:30 AM. Plenty of parking. No wait to sit. Sat on the lanai. Quiet and pleasant breeze. Very pleasant wait staff. Food came quickly. Blueberry pancakes were loaded. The Lion coffee is excellent. Wife had the Japanese breakfast. Price for two including coffee/tea and bacon side order to go, $35. Compliments all around. You can't tell from the outside but this place has really good food. My cousin had a birthday party here and there was enough room to accomodate 60 people. Service was great and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is here. The garlic mahi and steak were super good. I also liked the chantilly macadamia nut cake. This is a very good location to consider if you have to throw a birthday party, anniversary party, or grad party. It's very cold inside the restaurant..usually I can handle lots of AC but even I was cold..bring a sweater or jacket. I hope someone hosts another party here so I can eat the food again :) read more

I met up with my friend and her two young kids this morning for breakfast. We got the Pearl Country Club around 8:45am and were greeted immediately. The waitresses recognized my friend's son and I felt like family. The food is decent and priced well. I hate waiting in long lines or circling a lot for parking so this place is a hidden gem of Aiea! We ate on the lanai overlooking the golf course and putting green. The portions are nice and the food was tasty. They had a large selection and it reminded me of a Grace's type menu. I will definitely come back as my son gets older. There's space for the kids to move around and not too crowded where they will disturb other guests. read more

Had a dinner at the Pearl Country Club restaurant a few nights ago. We had a party of 15 and I must say, they are rather quick with serving the food. The restaurant has a combination of items from the local hamburger steak to the Japanese saimin, bento, soba, etc. The people in our party ordered a combination of breakfast, Japanese, and local fare. They all said it was rather delicious. I, personally, had the breakfast (I LOVE breakfast!). It was Spam, scrambled eggs and hash brown. They give 5 pieces of Spam. It was great! However, regarding taste of the hash browns, it was just "okay." Nothing stellar to write home about. Not bad, just not shocking. Very friendly staff here! Been having our major parties here for the last 26 yrs, this past Sunday enjoyed a very lovely mothers day brunch. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate that there is a place to go for a buffet, without having to drive into Waikiki. Here are all the pros about this place. 1. Central location 2. Parking is free 3. Food is excellent 4. Prices for mothers day brunch waaaaay better than Waikiki 5. No traffic congestion 6. When you have a party rental of the room they let you bring in your own pupus 7. No stress like driving into a congested Waikiki then having to either park far or pay for parking, again location location, location 8. You get a beautiful gorgeous view of the well maintained golf course city 9. It is also a golf course where you can play and then eat or vice versa 10. Best thing ever about this place are the employees, special shout out to the wonderful manager who is a hard worker Dean Ishikawa, his lovely wife manning the food station, Dean overseeing everything on mothers day working very hard Taking care of guest, replenishing, catering to hungry people, wow Dean very impressive for such a busy day. Pearl country also were giving out out prizes with the tickets they handed out during entry, oh and they also had a photo station free of charge for picture taking. And for the generous pricing it included raw oysters, poki, crab legs, prime rib, omelet station and many more foods. The only con is I'm giving away a well known secret, better stop here so not many people will find out about this great place. My family and I came for the Easter brunch and the food, the service, and the ambience was wonderful; the staff was so accommodating and always there for any request. Another 'go to' in my limited food repertoire! Mama likes to cook and doesn't go out much! Calming and relaxing, with a beautiful view of the golf course and Pearl Harbor, I've enjoyed breakfast and lunch here. The staff are wonderful, very polite and friendly. If you read my posts, customer service is my big thing. After 18 years in the industry, it's fundamental to my dining out experience! The food is your run of the mill menu, but the quality is excellent. I've enjoyed Corned Beef Hash for breakfast and the Club sandwich for lunch and these remain my staples when I come here. read more
