Lemon chicken/chowmein plate with some eaten egg roll. Lol

We found this spot via DoorDash. They only had one pic on DoorDash so I went to Yelp to see if they had more pix to get a vibe if it would be worth the gamble. Y'all!!! Take the leap! It was delicious and my sister and I were so glad we gave them a shot. We are moving out of the Bay Area and were starving after packing all day. It met the comfort food and full belly craving!! Bitter sweet that we are finding this spot with less than a month in our current location but sure did appreciate the delicious and affordable dinner. The only item we didn't care for was the hot and sour soup. I cannot be 100% but for people wondering it was definitely vegetarian (if not vegan). No shrimp or chicken in it. It's a bit different than I'm used to. More gelatinous, not enough white pepper or vinegar to my preference. But everything else was fresh and perfectly cooked. I kept it low carb with kung pow chicken. Got string beans and chicken to share. Sister got a chicken combo plate (lemon chicken/chowmein) + app egg roll order. We figured leftovers!! Again, all delicious (minus the soup).

My friends and I decided to get Chinese for NYE and one of my friends recommended this spot. We placed an order online and they said they'd stay open to 6:30 complete our order. We rushed over but when we got there other people were waiting for their food as well and we ended up waiting 30mins which wasn't too much of an issue except we thought the order would be ready since we called it in 40mins before. Thinking the wait meant the food was great I figured it would be really really good. I feel bad saying I didn't enjoy everything. The vegetable rice wasn't vegetable fried rice, maybe we missed the mark when ordering it? It seemed like steamed white rice with vegetables. The orange chicken was mushy, they should put the sauce separately like their sweet and sour pork. The kung pao chicken and mongolian beef were spicy and really good. And their egg rolls were good too Overall some of their items were a hit for me and others missed the mark, in my opinion. I say it's still worth a shot trying them as everyone has their own preference, but not sure I'll be returning soon. I'm only knocking off one star because the people who work here are nice and their food is good but it just wasnt an overall favorite of mine.

Hole in the wall heaven! I came here cuz I was craving hot and sour soup. The soup was good but the star of the show was my beef broccoli and fried rice lunch special. For just $12 I got one of the tastiest lunch dishes I've ever had. Everything was piping hot and made fresh. The woman who worked there was also really nice. Don't judge a book by its cover, this place is amazing !!!

Definitely a hole in the wall that you'll want to try. Service was pretty good. Our food was cooked right away. Fried rice and chow mein is fire. Mongolian beef is flavorful. Def come check it out.

Great costumer service! The food was very good. Kung pao chicken is spicy and yummy. Chow mein was good too. Our go to for Chinese food.

    Enough for 2? ;)

Serious attitude problem. Bad service, rolls eyes, sighs, and credit card terminal doesn't work.

I ordered their shrimp wonton soup. Quality food at a reasonable price. Cannot ask for more.

The food here is amazing, so I am giving it 5 stars. But don't expect grand customer service. The employees won't even say hi or smile. Lol

I am basing my review off take out since I don't usually eat there* It's nestled in the plaza off Aborn Rd and White so parking shouldn't be an issue. The inside isn't extremely huge, but there are tables - though there are times when the tables are put out. But if you go up Aborn a bit, there's Evergreen Square where you can sit and enjoy the sun! Definitely call ahead of time if you are doing platters, but they also offer 2-3 item combo plates! Every time I have visited, the staff is pretty kind and get your order out to you as soon as possible. OKAY THE FOOD: * Chow Mein: delicious. you CANNOT go wrong with this item, it's perfectly made and gives the authentic "take out chow mein" taste * Salt and Pepper Pork/ Wings/ Calamari/ Shrimp/ etc.: Literally anything that's salt and pepper, I LOVE. My family and I usually get the salt & pepper pork or wings, depending on what we're feeling. 20/10 would recommend. * Honey Walnut Shrimp/ Chicken: Another all time favorite dish here - they somehow get the shrimp/ chicken crispy despite it being in the sauce. LOVE. * Chicken Green Beans: A classic, but also SO DANG GOOD. Please note that if you are getting an entree, expect your plate to be STUFFED. happy eating! x

We walked in right at opening to a completely empty dining room. Instead of leaving, we browsed the menu and ordered XLB, pot stickers, jelly fish, and pea sprouts (my personal fav) so glad we didn't leave! The XLB are a nice size, with each precious dumpling cradled in its own foil wrapper for maximum soup retention. The potstickers were full of flavor, packed with protein, delicately wrapped, and had the crispiest, golden bottoms! Jelly fish was fresh and the pea sprouts were a hit! The poor owner answering the phones made sure (in all languages) to inform folks calling in that there were a different May Flower than the other place-felt terrible for her but also understood the importance of differentiating right up front. I can only imagine the number of misorders they have probably dealt with. By the time we were done, the dining room was filled with a mix of what seemed like regulars, locals, large groups of families, small groups of friends... this feels like we stumbled upon a tiny hole in the wall restaurant where everyone who has been before just knows the quality and taste they are going to be getting! Highly recommend you check this place out for a dine in or take out order!

This is one of the handful of American Chinese restaurants that stood the test of time. As is typical of these places, there was an old lady manning the counter and also acting as the server. And as is typical of these places, there was table at the end where they were prepping the fruits and veggies. It's truly remarkable how they are all similar in these ways! We got a couple of dishes and they came out at lightning speed. * Chowmein-3/5- delicious with lots of umami flavor but shockingly greasy. I mean I am used to oily noodles but this one exceeded some limits. *crispy salt and pepper eggplant-3/5- I had a stellar version of this dish at another restaurant in Sunnyvale and was stoked when I saw this on the menu here. Unfortunately it was a poor representation of the dish I loved there. The batter was too much and the dish felt heavy. The hot oil or sauce they had felt old and extremely vinegary as well, I would recommend avoiding it.
