A solid spot to drink and/or watch a game. I like their pretzel, but they have a good amount of options for food (pizza, sandwiches, bar appetizer classics). Outside of beers, they do have some cocktail options. I've always thought the staff here give good recommendations. It can get loud and busy when they have something popular going on, but if that's your scene, it's a fun spot. It fits in well with Roosevelt Row in general.

I enjoyed my 2 visits here this week. I wish I'd had time for dinner. I saw amazing dishes go by. Pizza!!! The servers were so very friendly. The patrons were as well. Like a hometown bar. We watched some Olympic sports on TV. Great view from every seat. Selection of beers is outstanding. My husband orders cocktail. He was very happy with that.

I really like this place, the location and rooftop are just great. I came in for a happy hour drink and snack the other day, and it was the perfect place. We had cocktails and a dessert. We got a bit caught up in chatting so needed some extra time with the menu. Our server was patient and kind. My only negative is the parking. Maybe I parked in the wrong place, but it wasn't well marked so I ended up in a lot that charged me $14 for an hour. Seemed a bit excessive and it might deter me from going back if that is the only option.

Football Sunday here was fun. Busy and loud, which is expected, but they got us in immediately which was great. The parking is not great though, you'll have to pay at a meter or garage (unless there's free parking somewhere that I haven't found yet). The food: immaculate. I've been here a couple times now and everything hits just right. This time we had brunch, my chicken was not super seasoned but paired with the waffles, it was perfect (ask for extra syrup on the side, trust me). Beer brat was very good dipped in the syrup or on its own, and the hash tasted sooo good. The sauce makes it. Last time we came at night and got the Doc pizza (hot honey and jalapeno) and the hot honey wings. Wings were decent, nothing special, but the pizza was to die for. Highly recommend, and if you come at night they have a rooftop bar area which is even cooler!

Cool brewer my in PHX! Went there for a night cap and had a great time! They have plenty of seating and great lighting at night. A great selection of beers, the sour was pretty good! Great service too. They have an upstairs area as well but it was closed when we arrived.

3.5/5 Door Dash Order I've heard great things and wanted to visit in person; however, due to time constraints- opted for door dash on Wednesday night to my hotel. I got the cauliflower wings (naked) and buttermilk fried chicken salad. I LOVED the salad- perfect mix of sweet and savory- I think it would've been nice with more chicken but it was good- and they gave me enough dressing (two). I was a little worried because it wouldn't give me a space in the app to ask for more dressing but it was enough. I wanted to get the wing sauce on the side but it didn't give me an option so I opted for naked. It was alright- less crispy than what I would've liked but that could be due to me not eating it right when it came out. My only concern is that I found a small hair at the bottom of the food- so I had to toss it.

One of my favorite breweries in downtown Phoenix! It has seating downstairs as well as upstairs! Very spacious and lots of TVs with plenty of seating! A good variety of cocktails and IPAs to choose from. Service was mediocre and could be more attentive. It's usually pretty loud in there so it might be hard to communicate with each other. I usually went there on Friday or Saturday nights and it's usually pretty packed! They have Happy Hour but it's only on the weekdays 3-6pm! $2 off selected haus beers, $5 well drinks, $6 margaritas/wines, $2 off selected steins. $5 corn dogs, $6 loaded fries, $7 por sliders, $7 fried pork schnitzel sandwich, and $9 burger There are a lot of options on the menu, such as a good variety of burgers and finger foods like nachos and wings! Pricing is reasonable (most items are under $20!) The nachos ($13) were pretty good and loaded with queso, pico de Gallo, chilli and the option to add meat for $7 and fresh guac +$3! Chips were seasoned well and very crispy! Also, there is an option for vegan nachos for $13 too! I would say it's 7/10. My favorite cocktail is their Painkiller ($12) Super fruity, not too sweet, refreshing, and has a kick to it! 8/10 Would totally recommend and return

I love dining at a sports bar when I'm traveling on my own, so I was thrilled when I found this spot near my hotel. Sam, my server, was very friendly and efficient. I tried the Day Drinker beer - it was exactly the kind of beer I like. For diner, I had the Smokehaus Chicken Sandwich, which was one of the items that Sam recommended - it was quite delicious! It was quite loud and dark in here, but everything else was great!

From the moment I walked in, Libby made me feel like I wasn't just another body in a packed house on game night--she made me feel seen. In a sea of rowdy fans, she somehow struck the perfect balance between keeping everything running smoothly and checking in with sincere warmth and attention. Drinks never hit empty, food came out fast, and the energy at our table never dipped once thanks to her quick wit and electric presence. She wasn't just working a shift--she was orchestrating the vibe. Libby anticipated needs before we even voiced them. Every time she dropped by, it wasn't rushed or transactional--it was like she was a longtime friend who just happened to be the most competent person in the room. She held her own with charm, humor, and grace, even as the crowd got more fired up with every play. You could tell other tables felt it too--Libby was the Finals MVP, no question. On a night that was already high-stakes and high-energy, Libby made the entire experience unforgettable. Pedal Haus has always had a great atmosphere, but she's the reason I'll be coming back and bringing friends. Employees like her don't just elevate the brand--they are the brand.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I arrived with my girlfriend and her cousin for the Art Walk and decided to stop by for a beer. Beer was decent in both price & taste but when the group had completed the round, two of us left to use the restroom and get another round. I was sitting at the table by myself for ~5min before I was asked by the wait staff if I needed help. I responded I did not and was left alone, not even 5min later I was asked if I needed help again and if my party was returning. I said I was ok and that my party had left to use the restroom and get another round. It was at this time that I WAS ASKED TO FORFEIT MY TABLE SINCE MY GROUP WAS IN THE BATHROOM. I have never been asked to forfeit my table as a paying customer and am appalled by the lack of service at this establishment. STAY AWAY. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE read more

This place needs to get their processes together. I arrived to a big party where I knew some of them. The server addressed that I recently joined the party and took my order. They also requested that a card be on file. That's fair, it's busy, it's St. Patty's day and if I own a restaurant I would have the same policy in place. I'm sure they have this policy on other weekends as well. I didn't even question this. What unraveled next is the issue. Apparently, if there is an existing party and you show up during, and then that party leaves, but some of these folks started with a tab at the bar and it's transferred to the "table," it's the responsibility of the person who decides to stay when the party leaves. The server requested that I pay for any open items.... I questioned this as this is what happened, but I recall that I was not allowed to place my order without a card, so this demand to pay other people's tab from the same table must be irrelevant. After some back and forth, I paid this bill along with others lingering items and still left a 20% tip. However, this is an issue and it needs to be addressed. All tabs should be closed out from the bar vs. transferring to a table. Especially if you are going to demand a card, that should be the guarantee that I am only paying for my order even if I leave without closing my tab. read more

My wife and I came in for dinner, as we've seen the construction living right next door, we had to try the place. Amazing environment, great views of tv's all over with sports, poker, and news. Collin was our server and he's the best. Super sweat guy and he immediately lit up when we walked in remembering what we got and joked about my Bloody Mary. Definitely try and find this dude when you come in if you want quick service and someone who is clearly happy to be here. read more

Just off the Main Street and easy to miss, but don't pass it up. The service from hostess, to bar, to table is phenomenal. Don't pass on the pretzel for an appetizer (or a meal) and definitely try the beer cheese. Admittedly, I have had better beer, but solid across all the selections. Big burger that didn't disappoint, but also not the best I've ever had. The Mac and cheese, however, may just be the best I've ever had. Absolutely phenominal read more

It was possibly the worst meal I have had in Phoenix. The service was horrible. The waitress rolled her eyes at my wife over and over again. We ordered the Pretzel special, and it was the worst pretzel in I have ever had. The pretzel was dry, hard and surrounded by olives and meats that looked like they were yesterdays left overs. There is no way that pretzel was made in house, so what ever bakery made that thing should be shut down. The Nashville Chicken Sandwich was so hot that all you taste was the hot sauce that burned going down and and out. The fries that went with the sandwich were small chards of potatoes that were more like chips than fries. The beer was average at best. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone - I may recommend it to people I really don't like. This place sucks. read more

Everything is comfortable without being too casual or formal. It's definitely more open concept now, and bar-lovers will appreciate the full bar, as the old location only had a tiny one. The covered patio area is much nicer, and with an eastern exposure, it should bake in the sun less than the old place's western exposure for most of their operating hours. We were seated at a half-booth, and the restaurant was very crowded because it was their first Friday night at this location. Nonetheless, we arrived early enough to be seated without a wait. I will say that the food took a very long time to arrive--40 minutes or more--but I'm chalking that up to the crowd and growing pains at the new location. Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. On the flip side, the Pyro Benedict missed the mark--the shredded short ribs were very dry. The Green Tea Milk Punch ($12) looked good, but lacked flavor and wasn't worth it for my friends. Watch out for fees: They auto-added a 1.5% credit card surcharge without informing us upfront. It's frustrating for a larger, modern venue to pass off merchant fees like that. The Pad Thai had amazing flavor. We got everything at a medium spice level, which was perfect for me. I also loved that they let you choose from mild all the way up to extra Thai hot...my fiancé loves super spicy food, so that was a big plus since not every place offers that. I don't believe the server knew how to handle the less than formal style of the group I was with, but they did not turn us away and provided phenomenal service. The drinks had elegant garnish, and were well made. The most complicated might have been a vodka soda, but the additional touch was nice. For a start we ordered the oysters, which was kept everyone stuck between being nice and fair, and wanting to take all for themselves. We also ordered the octupus which was very good. For my main, I had the salmom rillete. Well made and pesented - I only thought to take pictures after I ate. Our group was never rushed for the bill and we enjoyed a beautiful evening sitting on their porch. I am looking forward to going back more "prepared" and enjoying their seabass or beef bourguignon.

My last review - hit up Pedal in Tempe - heard they had a downtown PHX location which is closer to me so had to try it out. This location (though hidden down the alley between 2nd and 3rd st) was amazing. They have indoor and an upstairs rooftop. Service was on point - got to chat with the GM, Chris and he showed us the way. Server AJ killed it... had nachos, and the new smashed burger and both exceeded expectations. Went downstairs for a drink with Gianna and the Margarten was amazing. Highly recommend if you are looking for local and hospitality - they also play the "big" sports games on occasion. I really wanted to enjoy my experience here, but unfortunately it fell short. The service wasn't terrible--our servers weren't mean--but they also weren't very friendly or attentive, which made the visit feel a bit flat. The food was the biggest disappointment. The happy hour bratwurst corn dogs sounded fun, but they were sadly terrible. I also tried the ceviche, which had a strange texture and just didn't taste fresh or well-balanced. This was our first visit to Pedal Haus Brewery in the Roosevelt neighborhood. We were greeted by friendly hosts when we walked in. Loved how this place was happening for Sunday Football. TV's are located throughout the brewery, which you won't find at any other place in the area. The food was savory (truffle fries are to die for), drinks came out in a timely manner, and service was AMAZING. Chloe made sure we had everything that we needed and checked on us regularly. She was friendly, professional, and AWESOME. Pedal Haus Brewery will be a regular spot for us. Highly recommend that you check them out. read more

Service is always very slow when I eat here. I'm not sure if the servers have massive sections or something but we are always waiting on water and have problems with our food from time to time. I live right next door so I really don't appreciate the lack of consideration for the residents of the apartment and the entrance to our garage. Also patrons, WARNING: vehicles fly through that alley and the entrance is in a very bad and dangerous spot. read more

I would really recommend another local restaurant compared to this mediocre brewery. Bad service, bad management. The main manager chose that it would be appropriate to flirt with my wife and offered my underage daughter a drink after being told she was only twenty. They simply didn't feel comfortable there and ended up leaving and going to Palma. We live downtown and would love this spot to be more welcoming to all parties. read more
