We really loved this place! The rooftop was full when we came, so we sat inside but still really enjoyed the atmosphere. We just went with apps, but they were all really good! The Brussel sprouts were our favorite, second was the wings, and third was the pretzel. The pretzel was a little dry, but the maple butter and cheese dipping sauces were incredible! The beer was also very good. We took advantage of their happy hour which was a good deal! Lastly, I have to say, the service was really incredible. It might feel like a tight squeeze, especially when you're trying to eat bar food while you catch a game, but I can see this as a safe spot to bring anyone for a good time. Really enjoyed the beers I've had so far. The coffee stout was rich, but refreshing. And the witbier? The best hefeweizen you'll find on the block. The food? I might skip it and eat elsewhere. Ordered some chicken nachos, they were not good. Chicken was cold, just out of the fridge before it was dumped onto the rest of the dish. It has a cocktail menu that is not offensive, but is also not memorable. I've frequented Pedal Haus in downtown Phoenix a lot and have always enjoyed my time there. It pains me to say that I will probably never go back. I went there with a group of friends to see the NCAA women's basketball championship and we had a table of 10 people which was around 40% of the patrons at the time so we asked for sound to be turned on for the game since we noticed multiple tables were tuned in and I was informed that they are not turning the sound on today but will have it on tomorrow for the men's championship. The lack of respect for women was blatantly obvious at that point. It wasn't as if another game was on or that there was a big crowd that wanted to listen to music that wasn't even that great. This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots because it has something for (almost) everyone. I love that they have a robust vegan menu with actually good options. Their vegan beer cheese sauce is delicious, and it goes well with the pretzel or their HUGE stack of vegan nachos. The garlic truffle fries are also droolworthy. I've had people ask me what I had when I carried them in my elevator before! Wednesday is a good night to stop by: they have beer or wine and pretzel board deals. The beer includes the huge steins (also available at happy hour), which is a mighty beer. I have tried a few of the beers, and all of them I've tried are very drinkable. I also tried their margarita of the week one week, which was pineapple habanero, which had major fire, so I can say they also pour cocktails well here. read more

He was cooking wings and showed the Brewer's Board. My wife said she wanted the Brewers Board. I took advantage of my opportunity to visit a brewery. I did not know they had three locations when I was searching for the location. It is Saturday and wanted to explore the city more, I picked the location that was the furthest from our house. Atmosphere - Parking is always fun in the downtown area, but with the Super Bowl following Sunday it was extra challenging with many roads closed. The brewery is tucked in an alley which fine with me. Once you are in you lose that vibe. We initially sat "outside" on the first floor, which is covered. We were too cold and moved to the bar. Did noticed they had the space heaters going later. Love the bike theme in the place. Food Beer - They lost the one star for the food rating in the beer selection. I had two beers picked today as they were on their online menu and on Untappd, a beer app. Neither of those beers were available today. The first one I went with was the White Rabbit a nice white IPA, and I followed that up with the IPA. Lunch - The brewer's board. The star was the giant buttery soft pretzel. It is served with two different Italian thinly sliced meats, olives, peppadew peppers. Served with bierre blanche beer cheese, saying beer twice must make it really good. Also comes with haus mustard, and maple butter. That maple butter turns that pretzel into a sweet breakfast treat. Service - As we sat at the bar we had the bartenders to ourselves. So spot on. Future - The brewer's board is $25, fair price with all the stuff on it. But we are thinking hitting the location in Chandler on a Wednesday night as they have a special right now for $17 plus two beers. That is a great price. read more

The cole slaw was really bad--underseasoned with hardly any mayonnaise/mustard/vinegar/seasoning. The fries were fresh and terrific. First of all, the beer was VERY good, which is absolutely paramount for a brewery. The service was fantastic--every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful, and everything we ordered arrived in a very timely manner. Love the vibe of the place. It felt very casual and comfortable. I ordered the Smokehaus Chicken Sandwich with a side of coleslaw, and my husband ordered the Classic Cheeseburger with a side of fries (and I stole more than a couple of his fries...) All the flavor profiles were well constructed and palate-pleasing. My ONLY criticism is that the actual chicken part of the chicken sandwich, although well seasoned, was VERY dry. Hi I don't want to make it a big deal but I'm still pretty upset. The moment my partner and I walked in. The bartender that was there 05-26-25 around I wanna say 8-9 pm had already profile us before even sitting down. She had asked for our ID and I presented to her. Which I had my husbands and is IDs since I carry our important belongings. she did say if we wanted to look at the menu I politely said no we know what we want just cause we been there multiple times. I'm not sure what her thinking was cause for some reason she had scan our IDs for a min with her eyes. I had asked that we were ready to order. She said something I can't remember her words but my understanding she had said I'll be with you shortly. My partner an I where just gonna head out but I said you know what let's give them time and see why they are taking long to serve us. Mind you where we were sitting at there was no one on our side of the bar. The bartender had stepped to a corner across from us and was speaking to another I believe employee of that establishment. We waited patiently for her. She had look at us after she had finished her conversation. She then went to get a manager? For what? To scan our IDs again? When she had already checked them. Mind you my husband is a veteran. What makes you think that our IDs didn't prove enough? When he's had veteran on it, Was it how we were dressed? Or did she think we couldn't pay? We were dressed casually, we decided to take a break and just go out for a drink before the night ended. At the end we left we didn't let these people served us. We politely removed ourselves from the establishment without needing to cause a scene cause leaving silently was a statement for us as brown people. I can't wrapped my head around it but think that's what it was. I'm more upset that my husband and I pretty much regulars we had came during mornings,evenings and nights. I'm not sure what her logic was I'm still in disbelief all we came for was for some drinks. This is the first time this has happened to us in that establishments.We don't need an apology I just asked that the employees are mindful of the people that come in to the establishment. These are drinks we had gotten prior to this experience. Please train your employees better and to be mindful, respectful and kind to buying customers. We love this place. It's my husband's and I favorite place to come for a sour garden which is our favorite drink that's all we wanted last night. We plan on returning and I hope the service will improve. I advised her I've never been here as a local but we could try it out. I was exciting for the rooftop area and saw some games in the pictures. I arrived earlier than my friends. The place was basically empty with most of the sections closed off. I was confused on where I could sit, so I just sat closest to the door so my friend wasn't confused as well. I was approached by a server and I asked about the rooftop and she said it was closed. Bummer. I ordered a tea. My friends arrived and ordered some chips and hummus dip I think. I ordered the wings. They were good. The server came by an uncomfortable amount of times and asked if we needed anything else. We said no and ended up leaving when they said last call. I had visited the Pedal Haus in Tempe a few months ago and was impressed with the size and scale of it. Very different energy from what you can find through most of Mill Avenue. I did not eat on that visit but just had a few beers. The most exciting thing about the addition of Pedal Haus to #dtphx is that it is making the entire area a real destination. Being able to barhop without getting behind the wheel is something bigger metropolitan areas enjoy. This area is becoming that! My server was Chloe and she took good care of me. Super patient, explained some of the differences between the various beers, and even previewed some changes coming to the bar next year. Service is so important and the downtown Phoenix location has it! For the food, I tried the Smashed Guacamole and "Haus" Salsa. Very generous serving of avocado. I liked that the jalapeno added a bit of a kick to it. I would order it again. For my main, I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. Perfectly seasoned and the chicken was juicy. I've ordered this at a few different places now (Monroe's, Belle's) and I would put this one in a top tier. Simply to experiment with more of the menu, I ordered the Campfire Smore Cookie. You can't go wrong with chocolate chip cookies, vanilla bean ice cream, marshmallows, and chocolate sauce. No regrets! When I visited, Pedal Haus was busy. The Tempe location seemed a bit more chaotic was this one seemed like good groups of friends gathering together for some beers. All in all, Pedal Haus is worth visiting when in the area. This was our third try to find a place for dinner on a Tuesday night. (One place was closed, one place required masks indoors and we didn't have ours with us, so we ended up downtown at Pedal Haus.) And OMG it's going into the rotation and is a solid FIRST choice. We aren't big drinkers, so we stuck with soda, and the food was AMAZING. I dream about the nachos. I think they make their chips, or they get those nice thick freshly fried ones. The smoked shredded chicken on it was out of this world. The giant tower of nachos was enough to feed several people. My kids enjoyed their fish and chips and Caesar salad with steak. There's no kids menu but lots of choices even for picky kids on the regular menu. The entrees are plenty to share, so consider that too. Service was quick and friendly. Outdoor fully shaded patio was nice and cool with misters even though it was over 100 degrees at 5:45pm. Prices were reasonable and the vibe was chill and felt family-friendly on a weekday evening. The place was clean and inviting, and not too loud even though it was fairly crowded.
