This was our third try to find a place for dinner on a Tuesday night. (One place was closed, one place required masks indoors and we didn't have ours with us, so we ended up downtown at Pedal Haus.) And OMG it's going into the rotation and is a solid FIRST choice. We aren't big drinkers, so we stuck with soda, and the food was AMAZING. I dream about the nachos. I think they make their chips, or they get those nice thick freshly fried ones. The smoked shredded chicken on it was out of this world. The giant tower of nachos was enough to feed several people. My kids enjoyed their fish and chips and Caesar salad with steak. There's no kids menu but lots of choices even for picky kids on the regular menu. The entrees are plenty to share, so consider that too. Service was quick and friendly. Outdoor fully shaded patio was nice and cool with misters even though it was over 100 degrees at 5:45pm. Prices were reasonable and the vibe was chill and felt family-friendly on a weekday evening. The place was clean and inviting, and not too loud even though it was fairly crowded. Perfect spot in downtown Phoenix to catch sporting events and enjoy some really good beer. This location has plenty of room for big or small groups. My favorite drinks from here is the Mexican amber lager and the Pilsner. The staff are very friendly and are helpful with choosing what to eat/drink from the menu. The green Chile burger tasted really good and loved the flavor of the chiles. Parking can be tricky in the area depending on the day and time you visit. If you can take the light rail then I'd recommend that form of transportation. read more

Food was brought quickly and it was hot - However, I'd like to see less upcharges for addons. Being able to sample all of the different beer offerings (for free) was great. Having never tasted any of their brews, it was nice to try different styles to find the one that tasted best to me. The pretzel was pretty good, and I'd like to see the cheese be included rather than an upcharge. We also ordered the nachos and paid the upcharge for chicken and guac. We ordered mac and cheese with steak (upcharge) and he really enjoyed it. I had the short rib french dip sandwich with garlic truffle fries (upcharge) but felt the sandwich lacked meat. Overall it was a cool place to hang out, enjoy some new beers, and watch some March madness. Our waitress really made the dining experience a good one. We are vegan and looked forward to dining with Pedal Haus to enjoy a vegan meal and drinks. Update: the manager left me a comment to email him. Upon receiving the email address, I immediately sent him an email and it's been 13 days with absolutely no response. If you're going to try to make it right, then you should probably respond to the email you requested. To address your comment, we did complain while we were there and nothing was done to fix any of it. Parking was a bit difficult but eventually found free street parking a few blocks away. Once arriving, we were given the option of sitting inside or outside. The weather was beautiful so we opted outside. We were told to take the stairs up to the rooftop. Given I just had spinal surgery I was concerned doing the flight of stairs and given no other option which was concerning. We got upstairs and it was jammed packed with no tables available and really no place to stand. We found 2 chairs that we could put together by the outskirts of the roof. We believe there was one server for the whole roof and he was slammed! It took him a while to approach us and take our drink order. The beer and margaritas were wonderful! We finally caught his attention again to place our food order. We ordered the pretzel with vegan cheese and the nachos. The pretzel was amazing but the vegan cheese sauce was not very good. We then got the vegan nachos and they were not what we ordered, jalapeños still on, no guacamole. The runner took the nachos to the bar and we watched him pick the jalapeños off the nachos and bring them back?! Then proceeded to bring us a side of guacamole. They were so slammed we decided to try them! They were horrible, same cheese sauce and they were soggy. We complained and our server said "it's the cheese it's horrible." OMG why didn't he just tell us when we ordered? Replaced it with the vegan classic burger (Beyond Burger) which I could make at home. We won't return, it really wasn't that good. Drinks were good but not worth our drive and time to return. $76 later plus tip, we are pretty disappointed! read more

My group and I were very excited to try this place out. We had some pretty big rivalry football games and we invited a group of our friends to partake. Great service from Brooke. She was very attentive and we loved having her around. When the games started getting tight, volumes started raising (of course) and the manager Casey had an issue with this. She however, did not express this issue to our group. On our way out, we stopped at a table to talk to some friends and Casey asked us to clear the walkway so that a family could walk through. Very weird seeing as how they didn't need an escort to walk back to their table, but we went with it. We moved to the side, out of the way, and Casey still had a problem with this. Casey then asked us to "clear the area out." At this point we were not in the walkway and she personally wanted us out. I personally take issue with the fact that we just gave this place our business and we were treated as such. I got a Hazy IPA and their West Coast IPA (preferred the Hazy). Our group of 5 shared two pretzels which came with three dipping options (mustard, maple butter, and soft cheese) - they were awesome. We also got two orders of fries (one regular and one truffle) which were great.
