Coconut Water Matcha- seems too American (sweet) for this Hapa. I like Traditional Matcha. Hee

This was my first time ever at this particular Pete and it's right on the outskirts of their downtown area. Perfect 15 minute parking out in front, very clean and organized as well. The barista all seems like they were enjoying their work and joking as they took orders with their regulars. I wasn't in a coffee mood so I decided to try their coconut water Matcha. I like traditional Japanese Matcha, which is bitter and not sweet so this particular one tasted rather sweet to me. I guess Petes does an American version of Matcha. Lol. Nevertheless, the maple oat, scone, and morning glow muffin I got more delicious and not too sweet, but perfectly balanced! So I was very happy and impressed with the pastries!! I was quite surprised to see so many people working on laptops within this particular coffee shop on a Tuesday around 11 AM, but I guess everybody works from home now or a coffee shop. Lol everything was really quiet and you could hear nice relaxing coffee shop music in the background. I will definitely try another drink or at least see if I can get the Matcha coconut drink without sweetener next time. Lol granted the description did not say there was any sugar in the drink itself. Hee

    Less milk!

I usually like this Pete's a lot but they tend to be slow at to go drinks.. or if the barista is on time and drink is prepared, the person moving them to the 'to go area' is behind in moving them where we can pick them up.. but most importantly the last THREE times i have been, my iced mocha had one inch LESS milk than its supposed to.. maybe because i asked for no whip so they didn't add the milk?! No other peets does that. Also, they have some homeless visitors (surprising for location i know) and the other day the smell was terrible and no one was doing much about it. (Spray?!)

Unmarked bin where everyone is dumping everything! :(

Almost environment friendly! * There are no recycle bin to throw into, for bottles, papers etc. Pros, - Horchata oat latte and the herbal trees are must try here. - Baristas are working hard and always welcoming with a smiling face. - Few tall seats in the middle and few outlets on sides - WiFi, restroom

Very Busy but they run like it well oiled machine. The inside is super clean and they have plenty of seating. The atmosphere is also very nice and they have lots of cool things to buy on Display. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte for the first time in my life, "with 1/2 & 1/2 cuz that's how I roll" the barista asked me what kind of milk I would like before making it "I thought that was really nice of her" the pumpkin spice flavor was light and rich, simply deliciously beautiful.

Cozy little location in menlo park! The staff is super friendly, coffee is always amazing and fresh. They have nice ambiance for sitting and working or just reading a book. Location is amazing, at the corner of the block overlooking the streets.

They made an iced version of the matcha latte and kind of grunted when I asked them to remake it as a hot drink (as ordered). We got a matcha latte and a spinach croissant. Both were pretty good, nothing extraordinary, but generally better than Starbucks.

I…read morehad never heard of this coffee chain before, but after our visit, I can definitely see why it has a loyal following. We ordered the SCCB (Salted Caramel Cold Brew) and the FOB (Fall Oat Boy). Both drinks were excellent. The cold brew was smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering. Each drink had its own unique flavor profile, but both were crafted well and enjoyable from the first sip to the last. The shop itself had a welcoming atmosphere, and the service was friendly and efficient. One thing to note is that they do not offer soy milk, which was a little disappointing for us. However, that was a minor issue in an otherwise great experience. At the end of the day, great coffee is what matters most, and Gregorys delivered. The drinks were flavorful, well made, and exactly what we were looking for. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would happily stop by again the next time we're shopping at Stanford Mall.

The inside has such a pretty aesthetic, with a few inside tables to How to order is with an iPad kiosk, so card payment only. The menu selection is nice and simple, offering matcha and hojicha options. There are also small desserts like cheesecakes, cake rolls whole or slice and tiramisu. This tea shop is nice to go to after work to relax and decompress for a bit. Items my coworker and I ordered- * Hojicha Strawberry Latte - light sweet, soy milk and less ice. Cute place that is tucked away behind Drunken Monk izakaya. I came here for a mommy daughter date…read moreday to indulge in some dessert and card games. Decor is cute but sleek, vibes are calm, bar seating by window and a few small tables with seats. Ordering is fast at the kiosk front desk which doesn't seem to have a cashier. Lots of tasty drink options with milk choices and customizable sweetness and ice level - much appreciated! Cakes were delicious and filled with freshly whipped cream. We had the hojicha and biscoff ones. Not incredibly busy - a lot of orders were takeout. Cons: A lot of things were out of stock by 1pm but maybe this is due to Mother's Day. Pricey but the items were high quality. Store is a small footprint with limited utilities (no WiFi, bathroom was temporarily out of order). Parking is very difficult- it's on el Camino so the cars are unforgiving if you're trying to parallel park, and the road parallel by a block is not much better. It has an alley and a very cramped space in the back for a lot. Expect to walk.
