This Peet's location is friendly and usually has great service. However, they need some help with the table arrangement. Round cafe tables were added to this already awkward design arrangement. Unfortunately, tables were placed in a row 3 feet from the register. Very awkward! I expect more from this location since it's located in the Fountains shopping center. Please fix! read more

This Peet's is sooo yummy! Depending on who makes your drink I am always satisfied. It does get crazy in there... but most of the time it is worth the wait!! Awful customer service . Layla made me the worst cu of coffee I ever had and to top it off it looked like crap . When I asked to remake it she made the nastiest face . Who hires people like that ? Had the worst experience with Peet's at this store (Fountains at Roseville) 1198 Roseville Pkwy. We've stop by this place 100s of times while visiting Sacramento before, never had it so bad. Bailey was our cashier first, she was very rude, refused to take payment over app, which works perfectly fine. Almost yelled at us for asking to use Peet's card payment. After our order was finally placed (cash), she left the register to make our drinks. I haven't had latte this bad since I had my last beverage at Starbucks years ago. Bailey told us that she is a manager at that store, and that's NOT good for business. Either she needs to change her attitude or Peet's needs to find new manager. read more

My very first experience with peets was at the mill valley store 35 years ago. I had a crush on this girl and would visit her every day, I never got anywhere with her I was in high school and she was much older and certainly mature enough to see my crush for what it eas)....but she did teach me about coffee and tea. I recently git the roseville store and while it seems more like a chain now, not as bad as starbucks, they have been able to keep the same friendly knowledgable culture alive....and of course really great coffee. read more

Awesome location and great coffee! Love coming here although it gets crazyyy busy most of the time but when you get lucky to find a spot it is great to hang out here. Staff is always super nice and I enjoy their coffee. If you are here in the summer and want a refreshing drink, they have this new tea fog that is very refreshing. read more

My Americano was good, the staff was friendly, and I was patient; however, it took a VERY long time to get my drink today.

Thanks for the organic coffee, however having only plant milks with carrageenan and GMO ingredients that are not organic is completely ridiculous. If I wanted to destroy my Gut in one day I would use these milks from Pacific company and the non-organic version with all those chemicals, it's not the way to go, I hope your corporation will clean up its act and buy appropriate clean ingredients to put in their coffees. You won't catch me running out of organic coffee at home again! I can't believe, I cannot even get a coffee with out a corporation attempting to GMO me and jack up my brain and gut I work so hard to protect. This place is understaffed for a Sunday afternoon. Two people on the registers, yet the line moved oh so slowly. Only one person making the drinks. Thus, more waiting. So one of the people working a register decides to help make drinks. Thus, line comes to a complete stop. read more

I like Peet's. I miss the Peet's by my house in Santa Monica, mostly because of the friendly people that worked there, and when I moved to Roseville, I was happy to find a Peet's close to my house. Coffee is amazing, but what the heck is up with the people that work there???!? It's like a black hole of humor and happiness in that place. Every time I go in there, the staff look miserable and not happy. My husband is always trying to make them laugh when we come in, and even MOONWALKED to the register to order today, and the employee didn't even break a smile or acknowledge what happened. It was the weirdest thing I have ever witnessed. So if you like coffee made and served by a brick wall, this is your place. read more

I don't frequent this Peet's as I do the one on 20th in Midtown where I live, but have always had good service here. The one reviewer ordering a "Venti" and then complaining might try using the terms and sizes that Peet's has, not the "Venti" from the house of burnt espresso, Starbuck's. Of course, I'm there for the coffee, not a milkshake with a shot in it. I had a few particularly great experiences here talking tea with a girl who was quite knowledgable about them and passionate about tea in general. I stopped in a few days before leaving for Toronto and wanted to bring some teas to my GF up there, so it was great getting some advice being more of a coffee guy myself. Only drawback to this location is it gets quite busy now and at times I find myself walking out, heading over to shop a bit at Whole Foods and then dropping back by for a coffee after. They seem to be consistent here and I will continue to drop in when I find myself shopping in that area. read more

Im normally very happy with their service but todays was horrible. I ordered a Freddo drink and the guy making it made a joke/complaint because he hates making blended drinks and couldnt wait for closing. I felt bad for ordering what i like. Not happy at all. I like the location. The staff is pretty friendly and helpful. I've never come to this place and had to wait in a long line, or any issues with my order. Friendly staff, great coffee and food but oh so slow. If you have no where to be and all the time in the world, this is the place to be.

No complaints, no cheers. They have a decent cup of coffee at an OK price. The people here are just as astute about their product as across the street. Went here in a pinch and needed something done special for my grandfathers funeral. We had been 3 places. Finally we tried Pete's. THANK GOD! Stephanie and Lil helped us out without a second thought AND with a smile nonetheless. They took time out of their busy day to do something that they didn't have to. They made sure to chat with my sister and I, making us feel completely comfortable while doing US a favor. I go to a lot of Peets and Starbucks, and this location is fine for taste. The issue I have here is that, like a lot of Peets, they seem to take forever to make a drink. Now I know that Peets doesn't use automatic espresso machines and it's "more authentic", but it still seems like they take 2-3 times longer than the surrounding Starbucks. On Farmer's Market morning, I sometimes try to swing in here for a latte, but if there are more than about 5 people in line then I know it's going to be 20+ minutes to get it -- not worth the wait. read more

Every visit they seem to be fairly busy, but the creation of my coffee is prompt and they never get my complicated orders wrong. The store is always clean and the staff is very friendly! I came here on my birthday the morning of 1/1/13 just because I felt like having a hot drink (a peppermint mocha, in particular). I walked in, and was instantly greeted with a smile. Adam (the cashier) was very friendly (I could tell he likes his job and meeting different people) and wished me a happy birthday. I received my drink exactly as ordered. The service was phenomenal, Adam is the best, and I will definately be coming back here again soon (as a side note, this place is WAY better than ANY Starbucks I've ever been to)! read more
