Been here a couple times in the last week to pick up drinks for the family in the morning. Sometimes there's a long line, and other times I just can walk right up, and order. All there roasts are pretty dark, I wish they brewed one that was a little lighter. My sister is always happy with her Matcha Green Tea Freddo, and my mom with whatever mocha she decides to get. What's actually really good here well at least my family tells me it is I can't have it is the mini lemon bundt cake. Both my dad, and sister really like it, they said it's surprisingly pretty lemony, and tastey. They usually have a vegan pastry option, and a gluten free option, but not both together :/ to bed, but most places don't anyway. read more

This Peets Coffee is a great little spot to get a cup of joe. If you come in the mornings it can be a little busy but for the most party they are pretty good about taking your order and getting you out the door fairly quickly. This store has a large out door patio for you to sit out side and enjoy the sun. read more

I Love This Place! I come here pretty much every Wednesday morning and they get my drink right! There's just something about the way they pull their esspresso shots and put foam on the iced lattes that makes it worth the drive from Dublin. Only complaint: build one right next to my work! read more

I normally don't review chain places that people will go to (or not) regardless of my review, but decided to put in a good word for this particular location due to a recent experience. After a cold afternoon of play we decided to take our toddlers for their first hot chocolate. I mentioned this as we were ordering and the woman taking our order and the barista could not have been sweeter. The barista split the hot chocolate in to two cups, making it just warm enough but not so much so that it would burn their tender mouths, and decorated it with whip cream and a bit of extra chocolate on top. The kids didn't really know what to make of it, but they knew it was something tasty about to come their way. Thanks to the staff for making our first foray in to chocolate milk so fun! read more

Instead of asking if anyone in line had a bean order the lady literally stood for 10 min HOLDING a bag of beans instead of helping anyone. What more do I need to say about Peet's? I went on a job interview here and got there a little early so i helped myself to a nice iced coffee on a warm afternoon. The staff was attentive....the coffee was fantastic per usual and the outdoor interview resulted in a second round interview. The one thing that was funny was that during the interview a big rig was making a delivery and it was like a commercial where I was talking and the interviewers couldn't hear a word i was saying because of the big rig 20 feet away passing by. By far ABSOLUTELY the worst hot chocolate I have ever had. I wanted to have Starbucks hot chocolate, but SOOOMeBoDY HaD to pick PEE.....ts. Ok so all Peet's are not created equal, I mean not run same :) This is my go to Peet's because: seating area is spacious; I feel good vibe; and it's close to my bank:) The four stars are for the staff who all constantly try hard and do their best to pay attention to providing smooth and pleasant service to the guests. The same coffee tastes better at this Peet's. And for that reason I only come to this Peet's unless I'm out of town. I shave off one star because A/C sometimes is turned up too much and I feel too cold to read a book here. read more

Okay, so I normally go to Starbucks for drinks, but since I only work next door, why take an extra 10mins to go Starbucks. I told the barista I normally go to Starbucks for my coffee and tea, so he asked what I normally get and suggested a particular tea which the pomegranate iced tea. I fell in love with it and their wide ranger off coffee drinks. I come here now for all my coffee and tea cravings not just because of how good it all taste, but just the service is well rounded and they really care about the product they serve. read more

2nd time I've had to leave this place and go to Starbucks on the other side of the parking lot. Line gets too long and not enough employees to handle it. Either hire more employees or allow us to pre order on the app. I don't understand why only some of your locations allow for this function on the app, while every Starbucks location you can pre order. This is ridiculous. It makes me rethink going to Peets over Starbucks when I'm in a rush, which is always! Get the app ordering function for every location or I won't be the only customer you loose read more

The morning shift employees (as they are the only ones I have met so far) deserve way more than five stars. They are always so bubbly and happy, not only making my drink perfectly (I'm on a diet, so specific instructions) but making mornings seem a little less bleak. I don't think I have ever met nicer coffee shop employees. Granted, I enjoy small coffee shops more than the chains, but this Peet's is wonderful. Much better coffee than a certain huge chain, and the place is clean and inviting. Though, I do think their "specialty drinks" - freddos, I believe? - are lacking, but the actual coffee is good, and that's what I come here for. read more

One of my favorite cafes in San Ramon. I guess I am one of the "regulars", often typing away into my laptop. The folks who work here are really great, and make for a wonderful place to chat with friends or work on the slides when you need to get something done and hide from the officemates. Their black iced tea is my favorite, much better than Starbucks. If only they would keep their iced tea in the rerigerator, they would be perfect. But, they already are, anyways. Also, try their iced lattes, they are to die for. I think you can get a buzz just inhaling their ground coffee :) This is a fairly large store with plenty of seating, including some outdoors. read more

I just moved back into town and was really excited to work close to a Peet's. As you know, it's not very common in southern California. I came to this Peets for the first time on the Friday when coffee was free between 1-3. I had a work thing an hour later, so I was sure to come in early for my really needed caffeine fix. The line was fairly short so I thought, no problem! Ordered my drink and was told the wait time was about 25 minutes. That's fine. By the 30 minute mark, I politely asked if they could check on my drink and the barista was annoyed, rude, and curt, making no effort to check on it. That's fine.. it was a busy day. By the 45 minute mark, I asked another barista kindly who wasn't seeming to help his coworkers with the rush and got a similar response. I had to go so I told them by to just ignore the order if they ever came up, and they responded "okay" with a "whatever" tone. I love Peet's. I understand they were busy, but that is not good customer service. Plus, I had to go to work without caffeine. read more

I ordered a cafe au lait. It was sooo bitter, and no matter how much half and half I put in, it was undrinkable. I don't remember cafe au lait being so bitter. i'm not a big coffee drinker so came in to get a pomegranate-berry freddo and to use the wifi. this would be the 2nd day in a row i get my drink and find out the wifi is down. DAMN! i'm having the worst luck choosing a place to use the wifi. other than that this is a great store with super friendly employees. my favorite was scott since we share the same name and he's very personable. i will defiantly come back to this peet's because of the great staff and i could be a regular here. they seem to really love the regulars. This Peet's Coffee store is by far the best run in the TriValley area. The staff are consistent when making the drinks and always go the extra mile when doing the Latte "art". So nice to get espressos with an awesome design. And this store always has the coconut cream topping or will make it up for you, unlike the other Peet's that never have it and never mix it up. This review is long overdue. A few weeks ago my 8 year old daughter and I dropped by this Peet's location. She ordered a kids hot chocolate with whipped cream. After receiving her order, it wasn't even ten minutes and she accidentally spilled the entire contents of the cup onto the table and floor. The young ladies behind the counter were very nice to us, following the spill. One barista mopped up the mess and reassured my daughter that accidents happen. The other barista made her another hot chocolate free of charge. Thank you to the kind, thoughtful, and calm Peet's Coffee staff. The professionalism and sensitivity you all showed really meant a lot to my daughter and to me. We will definitely be back. read more

I had a problem with a coffee drink from a visit to Peet's on Nov 13 and today (Nov 29) I asked to speak to a manager while I was in the store to tell him about the problem. The Peet's associate came back and asked me if I could wait 10 minutes to talk to the Assistant Manager and I told her "no" because I had to leave after my coffee beverage was ready. The associate went in the back and told the Assistant Manager what I said and he said he couldn't talk to me because he was on his 10 minute break. Really? I guess the Assistant Manager's break took precedence over resolving a customer service issue with a customer. I decided to rate Peet's 1.star as a result of this experience. read more
