Food portions are great. Taste is great. Service was friendly. The hash browns were saturated in oil and kind of oil logged / tasteless. The walls & lights have a lot of wear, like broken glass lampshades. It's just a local diner vibe.

I've been wanting to try Pegah's for so long! I'm so glad that I was finally able to. What a cute place with delicious food and very reasonable prices. Service was friendly and timely. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The food was delicious! I had the traditional eggs Benedict. It was very good. What I noticed is the ham. It was a nice thick tasty piece of ham, not a little sliver. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Others in my group had the pork chop, chicken fried steak, an omelette and pancakes. We were so happy with our food! Great way to start the day.

Not my favorite, but also not bad. Been here one other time.. so this would be my second time. Decided to give it another shot....Diner type of style restaurant. They have spacious places to sit with a group of people. Went with a party of 8, and was comfortable. But the food just isn't the greatest (in my opinion) got the jalapeño hash.. thinking it would be like a hash in a bowl with two eggs on top .. but it was just hash browns with green peppers pressed on them and two eggs on the side, oh and two sausage patties (& side of toast) I guess I'm used to something else (when it comes to a hash) and it was kinda of pricey... and that's without a coffee or juice. Just plain water. The service was great. But the food just wasn't it. *******The picture I have on here is from 3 years ago... I did not take a picture of my hash yesterday ******

Went on a Sunday at noon expecting it to be busy and it definitely was. Almost all the tables were full so we were ready to wait at least 45 minutes. But we didn't have to. Walking in, we were greeted and seated right away. Francine was our server and she was so friendly and efficient. We ordered the Cinnamon roll combo special and the Pegahs scramble. While we waited (which wasn't very long), the man who greeted us and sat us at our table came and poured our coffees. We noticed that this cute diner managed to maintain a warm, relaxed vibe all while working as a well-oiled machine. Super efficient all around. As busy as it was, the employees didn't miss a beat and didn't look or act hurried or stressed. Customer service was on point. The turnaround was fast. Food came out quick and we thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. Definitely a good value. So glad we tried this place, we'll be back!

We always get coupons for this restaurant in the Clipper Magazine & we decided to give it a try. They have 3 locations in North County. We dined for brunch on NYE & it was busy! Cute diner & retro feel. Dishes came out quick & service was friendly. California Benedict: Amazing! Crispy bacon, crispy side of hash browns, loved it. Hearty portion. This location is in a neighborhood with a few parking spots & street parking. Senior menu available.

Two eggs over easy, with ham and chrispy hash browns...met expectations !!!

Great breakfast at a reasonable price, comfortable booths and great friendly service provided by the lovely Francine. We ordered the veggie omelette with wheat toast dry, two eggs over easy with ham, the fruit bowl and both came with hash browns (done extra chrispy - per our request-the chief nailed it !!!) Can't wait to try some of their other item.

Came to Pegah's Kitchen with my in laws while it was raining. It is a cute little diner and it feels nostalgic the moment you walk in. The food was good and filling, nothing too special. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs and the steak was a little dry and my sunny side eggs were a bit under. We also got the sausage gravy and biscuits and I should have gone with a half order because it was a lot of food. I also wish they had a bit of butter or something for more flavor. One thing I really liked was the apple jelly for the toast. We only waited about ten minutes to be seated even though it was busy. It was a nice and simple spot for a rainy day.

My dad and I love checking out little niche stops like Pegah's Kitchen, we've driven by this place for years and regret having only just tried it! Not only were the portion sizes huge, the taste was amazing too. Our server was attentive and checked in on us at an appropriate rate. On top of that, we loved the cozy diner look of the restaurant! Would 100% come back here to try more from the menu!

Great food, great service, reasonably priced and a clean restaurant overall. Our server was very attentive and genuine. We enjoyed the flavors of every dish particularly the country potatoes that had a hint of "pancit" (Filipino noodles) at the end. This place is highly recommended!

Today, we ordered the classic lunch combo burger with fries-delicious and does not taste like freezer burn!!! There is a choice of not just beef, but also impossible, gluten free, and grass fed meats. All burgers are cooked to medium unless you specify otherwise. Easy to order-just go to the counter and order, pick a seat and wait for your meal. The interior dining area has plenty of seating and restrooms in the back. The outdoor patio looks nice enough for when it's a nice cool night, it is covered as well. Anyway, we'll be back since the menu looks super inviting because there are other choices besides burgers and the best thing is that they use a lot of local, fresh ingredients! They have a good selection of beer, milkshakes, and drinks. You order at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table. It's hard to find a burger place with all my favorites: an egg, bacon, and avocado. The bacon was crispy, the egg was medium and wasn't too runny, and the brioche bread was a little sweet and fluffy. They use angus beef for their patties. You can also split your fries which I love! I got to try the onion rings and sweet potato fries. I wish the sweet potato fries were crispy. They were more on the soggy side. The onion rings batter was a lil thicker than I like. The batter overpowered the onion. We also got the Cajun wings to try which was nice and crispy! They give you a few sauces on the side so you can dip it. I got the ranch which was so good with the wings, fries and burger. The milkshakes are pretty delicious! We got the classic vanilla one. It was a pretty thick shake so you know they use legit ice cream! I also liked the peach lemonade. I would check this place out if you're in the area!
