I stopped by on a busy sunday morning with a friend but even then we were taken care of right away. The food was delicious and the employees treated us great! Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Prices 5/5

Service was good. I just didn't like the food. I got a hot tea, which was good. The corned beef hash was just disappointing. It was made from a can, I believe. Not a fresh corned beef. It was like something I use to eat when my family was poor. The fruit was good at least. It's an old style looking diner. I don't think I'll come back. I thought I use to like eating at Pegah's. I remember the Escondido one wasn't too bad.

Definitely a hidden gem, this spot needs to be the next breakfast go to! Entering this establishment I feel the great sense of nostalgia, growing up always getting breakfast with family on those Saturday mornings! You get greeted by anyone near the door and it is self seating. The waitress was very sweet and got our orders in fast! We both opted for Country fries steak, a stable breakfast option. Came out beautifully, I would ask for crisper hash browns but other than that amazing meal. "Old Fashioned Waffle" was interesting but I will continue to pick those Belgium waffles!

LOVE this place!!! We have been coming here every Sunday for 4 years and always enjoy our food, service but especially love the people that work here! Sashka, absolutely the BEST server anywhere we go. Fun, fast, professional and just an all round great person. Alfonso is the hardest working dude for sure and always with a big smile. Sarah is the friendly and welcoming owner that brings this bunch together for our dining enjoyment. Shout out to Joanna and the other workers all keeping customers happy. There's a reason we keep coming back, try it and you'll understand why!

Came here after the gym with some friends. Breakfast has huge portions at a reasonable price. The Eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly with running yolk on the bacon and English muffin. The hash browns were also lightly crispy. The country fried egg entree was rich in protein. The potato texture was firm on the outside and soft on the inside. The waiter was so friendly and smiley. He came over to chat with us and made us feel welcome. I loved the family/homey ambiance. My friends and I had a good time.

So disgusting to see this after we had eaten. Worker notified the owner but she never came up to us to tell us anything. Never coming back. There is also a tall lady with glasses that is very rude.

Delicious spot if you live in the area. They have breakfast and lunch so your set if you wanna grab a quick bite. I stopped in for lunch and could sit anywhere. Got a bowl of chili and their club sandwich. Chili was perfect with some cheese and onions. Classic club is always a favorite of mine. Theirs is tip top and the fries were crispy/tasty. I'll definitely be coming back to try more things. I can only imagine the breakfast foods are good too. Plenty of parking by the 7/11 and the staff are quick to get your order in. If you like old school diners you'll dig it.

Overall a good solid café/greasy spoon type of place. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was all solid. I'd say for most of the food it was equal to about what I can cook at home (without having to do all the work haha). The biscuits are the exception - very good, large, square biscuits which are flakey and seasoned nicely. The gravy needed more pepper and seasoning to us, but once added it was fairly good gravy. Basically, I'd come here again if I was looking for an easy, casual, breakfast but don't bring your "best breakfast ever" expectations ... otherwise I fear you may be disappointed.

    California Benedict
    Sandy N.

Came here on a Sunday morning and ordered California Benedict and Country Fried Steak and Eggs. I wasn't a huge fan of the California Benedict because of the slice of tomato. Felt like it was just added in there randomly. The tomato was also tangy and overpowered the whole entire Benedict making the other ingredients very bland. Avocado was fresh. Really love how they give you a good portion of it. Eggs were cooked to perfection. Fruits were fresh, clean and sweet. For the country fried steak, it wasn't really a steak. It was more like some beef were packed together and fried in a steak form. The gravy sauce was delicious at first, but it got heavy after the third or fourth bite. Really enjoyed the eggs and the potatoes were good. Server was great. She was attentive and made sure our water was filled. For the restroom, you'll have to go through the kitchen to get there. Parking wasn't bad since its part of a plaza. Other than that, I just feel like it was an okay breakfast place that gives out generous portion.

I'm usually an Eggs Benedict person, but this visit I convinced my cousins to try the chicken fried steak. Their reaction was, "So it's basically a deep-fried steak?" and honestly... they're not wrong! It was crispy, flavorful, and definitely a classic diner-style breakfast choice. Mama Kat's have options for everyone. In the past, I've ordered their jackfruit hash, and it was surprisingly delicious. It's nice to see a breakfast spot offering solid vegan and vegetarian choices alongside traditional favorites. Parking can be hard, especially during peak hours, but it's manageable. Because Draft Republic is a rough place to quantify. The food is pretty good; if going off that alone, this place would easily be four stars in my eyes. But, it's not ... Draft Republic is trying to be a bit closer to like a mini Dave & Buster's (a place I have come pretty close to loathing). With an arcade, a bowling alley, a golfing simulator, a full bar, pretty extensive menu, good music, and a fantastic staff, they really have a lot going for them with a little something to make anyone happy. My own issue deals solely with the cost. Came here with my son, all we did was eat two entrees and an appetizer between us, and did nothing else. With drink and after tax and tip, the cost was well over $90. No games, no play, just burgers (plus fries and poke tacos) for two, costs as much as many Californian's net after a full day of work. When you're used to feeding the whole family for about half as much when going out (or a little more when eating sushi), that price was a bit rough. Still, the food is very good. My son and I each ate The Draft Republic Burger. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, very flavorful, and the toppings were high quality. The fries were crisp and salted well. And the side salad wasn't too bad. Both of us ate our entrees and gave it high marks. We had started with the Tres Poke Tacos, where the Tuna was very tasty, steeped in a flavorful marinade, and felt nice and fresh. Definitely a good starter. And the restaurant itself is gorgeous. A lot of space, beautifully furnished, kind of industrial meets art deco with some new age greenery architecture thrown in. I like it a lot. But, as an aging Gen-X'er, who used to go to arcades back in the day, and hates what new arcades have become, the amenities are under appreciated by me. All of that pads the price tag a bit out of what I am willing to pay just for dinner. Which may not be fair to Draft Republic, but that's where it left me.
