So very sad, we have been going here for years and even had a very bad experience a few weeks ago, but we talked it up as one bad experience so we went back again only to be extremely disappointed. We made a point to order our pasta just white not Italian sauce because they charge three dollars just to put Italian sauce on a side of pasta with a meal that cost $32.. not a cheap meal but they handled us like we were the enemy and we are faithful customers past tense was faithful customers it said because I wish that we could tell the owner how we were treated if you can reach us at 856-332-6730 A very disappointed older couple that's been going there for years. Your loss word and mouth is the best advertisement and I will also be the worst.

    A HUGE DEAD INSECT

Huge dead bug with puss in my food Manager was young female, she didn't seem to really care. Just gave me my money back. Kinda made me believe this happens more than you want to think.

Was really good flavor. Potions were nice. Sauce was a little thin but it was very yummy

Beyond belief. I'll stick to evidence for the resurrection of Jesus. It's Holy Week. This burger is not.

First time here on the recommendation of friends. Started with a cup of chicken orzo, which does not disappoint. The cup is actually a little larger than a standard teacup. Could easily have a soup and salad for a light meal. The French Dip was ok, lean, but a little bland. Pickle and cole slaw, meh. The sandwich is served with a half plate of French fries. Service was friendly. Desserts look good (standard cakes, mousses, pies) in the refrigerated case but I passed. They look big enough to stand alone in place of a meal.

There is nothing else like the Charlesworth in the area - from the view to the food to the service…read more I grew up close by and have childhood memories of the Charlesworth being the "fancy" local restaurant. The current owners, who I think are a brother & sister duo who took over a few years ago, have done so much to elevate the overall dining experience, especially the food. They are breaking out of the typical local model with the food, offering items like tuna tartare, grilled octopus and goat cheese crostini. I really appreciate that effort. More traditional dishes are still on offer though, like seafood platter, steak, clams & linguine, etc. I dine here once or twice a year when in town to visit my family, and each time it gets better! On our last visit, our entire party was pleased with their selections with standouts being the tuna tartare, fried flounder and the incredible desserts (banana pudding pie and key lime pie.) The desserts as well as a wide selection of drinks are all made in house and it shows. We brought our own beer & wine - I think Fortescue is a dry town. I'm not sure why there is resistance to a place like The Charlesworth serving their customers with wine & beer ‍ The Charlesworth is not an everyday dining spot due to the pricing, but I understand how expensive it is to run a nice restaurant with these offerings in an area like Downe Township, so I think the cost is justified for a special meal. It's cute that they give you a tray of old costume rings to sift through and select one to take home. The rings are fast becoming a fun tradition for our family - the kids love it! The service is warm and friendly which makes the overall experience that much better. Definitely give the Charlesworth a try!

At A-Pot, you're not only getting the usual options of meat, veggies, and seafood for your hot pot and grill-- you're also hooked up with a variety of sushi, sashimi, and deep fried food to fill up your plates with. I liked that their sauce bar is filled with ample options of sauces to mix and match whatever suits your tastebud's needs for the day/occasion. For our group, we loved the house special sauce to go with the grilled meat. What also wowed me was that they had a fridge filled with delicious milk tea/iced teas that you can take as part of your meal. I loved the Thai tea-looking drink as well as the passion fruit tea. Some people in our group also had taro and loved it. As for dessert, I love that they have a buffet section dedicated for sweets as well as a fridge full of single-serving ice cream cups. Of all the flavors, I tried their coffee ice cream and it was really good. Since our group was one of the first to dine there for the day, food was still pretty fresh when we arrive. The interior is spacious and designed like a typical buffet, so I guess there isn't much to write home about for ambience. Service was pretty ok, but we had to flag down the servers to change our grill pans and refill our hot pot broth every once in a while. Overall, I'd say you get the bang for your buck here. I would love to go there again.

Be prepared for at least two hours as you have to cook your own food. The service could be better. The waitresses were congregating together and talking and not paying attention to their customers. Their English is not so good and their menu needs to be properly translated as there were grammar mistakes. They should hire a professional to translate. Excitedly anticipated reservations at West Chester Seafood Kitchen and our stay out stood the expectations. Oh what fun it is to brunch!!! We arrived with 10:30am reservations, arrived and were promptly seated in the middle of the dining room. This place has so much space! The tables are proportioned about well and love the long bench seating opposed from the kitchen window. Decor is tidy and of modern aesthetic ocean vibes. Everything complemented, including the floor pattern - which I obsessed over, lol. Absolutely adored the built in and all the nautical knick knacks. Our waitress was a doll. Charming, attentive and spoke with great eye contact. We decided on eats and a mid morning cocktail. I had the standard espresso martini and my husband tried one of peanut butter variety. Both deep in espresso flavor and not too sweet. Oysters to start. A half dozen of 3 varieties. So wonderful to be able to select a few kinds to sample. We enjoyed them all. Very clean and super fresh. My husband loves horseradish, so it was so nice they offered their standard cocktail sauce with extra. The mini Tabasco sauce we had to take home as memento. Brunch entrees- my husband went part poultry and I kept true to seafood. He had first the Clam Chowder. Lumps of clam and a mid-cream broth. Nice balance of stock and cream. Potatoes did not overtake. This was light but hearty. He dove into those Chicken and Waffles with delight. A savory waffle - how can you not love. And the honey jalapeño butter, I found as much as I could to dip into. Chicken was most and crisp. Hitting all the texture and flavors- sweet, spicy, crunchy with this dish. Delicious. Now my Lobster Roll- LOBSTER!!!! This was incredible. I ate the whole damn thing. The roll was toasty and buttery. The lobster was juicy and plentiful, it was allowed to stand on its own. Didn't push up on too much mayo, or celery, or tarragon. Let the seafood shine - and it did!! The fries were hand cut, and freshly fried. Only critique was the slaw. It was just there. Would recommend to nix it. It didn't add to the dish. This Lobster Roll I will keep in my thoughts of how I am now tainted against all others. Wonderfully done. We cannot wait to venture down again and experience more of their menu. Ahoy!! Come here to eat! King of the Sea in the Dub C!

I put it on the fresh pita and it was an excellent starter. We ordered the Caesar Salad - it was very good - fresh, green leafy lettuce - crispy croutons, a sprinkling of grated cheese, and a delicious dressing. Next up, the Crab Bisque. I lived in Maryland for 30 years and had crab bisque many, many times. This was the first crab bisque that wasn't tomato based - it was a brownish, creamy version. It was more like chowder - although when I looked up 'bisque', it most certainly can be creamy. I might have been fine with the 'creamy version', but it lacked any crab flavor and had no crab in it - not one shred. I've never had any fish soup that had no fish in it. I took a few spoonfuls and left it. My partner tried it and came to the same conclusion. The entrees came next - I got the Seared Branzino and my partner got the Shrimp and Scallops. The Seared Branzino was okay - there were bites where I had a very fishy taste - and it was a very small piece of fish. My partner's Shrimp and Scallops came with steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes. The Scallops were tender and cooked perfectly - they were in a delicious sauce and had a very nice sear. However, the Shrimp were tough and chewy - we were both very surprised to have one item (scallops) so good, and another (shrimp) on the same plate, that was so bad. The steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes were very good. While our Caesar salad, Scallops and side dishes were very good, the rest of the meal was lacking.
