15 mins to call in an order and no answer. Ordered online and arrived to 8 people waiting, workers are clearly all in the weeds and no management to be seen. Restaurant was still totally unbussed and messy even though it truly wasn't that busy with sit down customers. Workers were doing their best but they were clearly understaffed? After multiple other times of them messing up to go orders I'm done. We will stick with nhinja for drive through pickup, accurate orders and less hassle. read more

If i could give no stars I would. I'm highly allergic to mushrooms and told the staff that. Every time I've come to a Pei Wei location I always order the signature lettuce wraps without mushrooms. I've seen them make this before fresh and other locations with out the mushrooms because I'm allergic to it. Today at the Edmond location we received the worst service we've ever had. The cooks told the server no they didn't take out the mushrooms, then the server kept trying to force the dish on us to take after I continuously try to explain that I'm allergic to the mushrooms and cannot eat this, and that I would like my money back for this since they didn't remove the mushrooms and wouldn't remake this without the mushrooms. The server comes back and tells me that they picked out the mushroom and asked how bad is my allergy since she didn't know how allergies worked. I once again told her I'm highly allergic to mushrooms so I can not eat this. She then said that they can't do a special order like removing the mushrooms and then said that this is a prepackaged mix they get and asked if I had been sure we didn't want the dish. I told her again, NO we didn't want the dish and only wanted our money back. She rolled her eyes and had her manager finally place the refund for the dish. Unfortunately, Pei Wei isn't what it used to be. The food quality, in my opinion, has gone downhill. Went in today to order a to-go order. There was only one other person in the restaurant, and he was already eating. Took 25 minutes to get an order of lettuce wraps, a pad thai, and a kids orange chicken with noodles. Got home and opened my order to find the lettuce brown, wilted, and inedible. My two-year-old son began to eat his orange chicken and noodles and immediately started crying, drooling like crazy, and wiping at his tongue. Wasn't quite sure what was wrong until I tasted his food. It was extremely spicy and was discarded. My pad thai tasted like they completely forgot to add any spices or sauce. Just bland noodles, chicken and tofu. The only reason I am not giving them 1 star is because the manager was extremely professional and apologetic when I called them. He gave me a refund which I appreciated. With all of the quality Asian restaurants in Edmond, especially Thai, I'm not sure I will be going back to Pei Wei. Not sure what happened but the food quality and service quality have gone way down. I ordered online for pickup for lunch. When I went in to pick it up there was one person taking orders and she was busy with a customer. So I expected to wait a it. The issue was that not one single person acknowledged me until about 10 minutes later a guy came out from the back and helped me. I could see my food had been sitting there and hadn't even been packaged yet. When I got it back to the office I noticed that the fried rice wasn't fully cooked and the chicken was so crispy in some parts that it hurt my mouth. That's not usually something I'd complain about but it was concerning. I don't think I'll be back. The last time I ordered I got charged multiple times so I'm nervous that may be an issue again as well. This is really just the last straw for me. read more

Staff were friendly and food was hot and fresh, but the restaurant condition (seating area, condiments/drink area, and restrooms) needed a good cleaning. This was by far the worst Pei Wei meal our family has ever had. The place was filthy, the men's bathroom was out of order, there were 6 employees basically standing around. One of the cooks had a huge hickey on her neck and hair hanging in her face. They messed up two of our 4 meals and right as we were finally about to eat they stared sweeping the floors all around where we were sitting. Then they were spraying stuff on the back wall and still cooking other people's food right below it. AWFUL!!!!! Nothing tasted right and I think I figured out why! I ordered from my app at 5:45 to have my order ready to Go at 6:40. I arrived a few minutes past that time and paid. I was told my order wasn't ready, so I sat and waited. I waited for over 20 minutes while several Other ppl were served. I noticed there was still a to go bag on the counter, so I asked if they would check on my order. Of course my order was the one that was done and sitting alone on the counter. They did offer to Remake my cold food, but at that point, my husband and 2 year old had been in the car waiting for far to long. This location will definitely not get any more business from me. Service has always been a problem here, but I was willing to overlook it because we like the food. Recently, orders have been an issue and this last time the food was utterly flavorless. Kung Pao that could have been a boiled chicken lean cuisine. I won't be back. Overall my experience at Pei Wei was a forgettable one. The moment my family and I stepped in the door I knew the seating was going to be an issue. I guess that could be a good thing? Either way it made conversations difficult. I ordered the "Spicy Korean" with an open mind. This dish was under the noodles section, which than confused me when I was asked if I wanted rice or noodles. When my meal arrived the aesthetic was pretty disappointing since it looked like under cooked noodles with gochujang sauce (sweet and spicy red chili sauce served on topokki). The noodles were under cooked and the improper use of gochujang sauce was a shame. I believe people would love topokki, and it would be just as quick and easy to make. The 'new recipes' are not an improvement, and my favorite go-to order was ruined with too much breading on the shrimp. The customer service here is deceivingly awful. We made a to go order before Christmas and got home and realized they had messed up our order. We called and were comforted by a waiter named Chris, to know that the credit card we used would be credited the amount of the messed up meal. Thankful for the easy conclusion we wrote a wonderful review on their website. A week later, still uncredited we called back and asked to speak to Chris. He assured us that he knew about the problem and would call us the next day with a solution. The next day. No call. Later he takes our info and tells us we will receive gift cards in the mail. Needless to say it has been weeks at this point. We tried calling again and Chris continues to dodge our calls. It really is the principle of the thing. We visited the Edmond, OK Pei Wei on Monday evening 7/16/2018. My wife and I both ordered the Mongolian Chicken. When the food arrived I thought something was unusual but I could not figure out what was wrong. I walked up to the menu to see what was missing and I realized neither of our orders had scallions. My wife approached the counter and the young man taking orders said yes he knew it was missing scallions but they were out in the prep area and did not have time to go in the back and cut more. He offered to replace the order and within a few minutes later a properly prepared order was brought to our table. I am still perplexed as to why they did not take the time on the initial order and felt it was OK to serve an incomplete entree. We asked to speak with a manager and another young man came to our table. When we inquired if he was the manager he responded that he was tonight. Not sure what his role was but fairly confident he was not a real manager. To his credit he did comp the meal but did not seem overly concerned about the service. I went to the Edmond location a couple of days ago. A co-worker had suggested we grab something from there since she said they are quick. I ordered the Orange Peel Shrimp Wok with fried rice. As promised, it was quick, the staff was friendly and the size of the meal was about what you would find about anywhere. The food was fine but there wasn't anything about it which stood out good or bad. Pei Wei was good for the price and the quick service and serve time. However, there wasn't a wow factor to it which made me think to myself, "Hey, I'd like Chinese tonight, let's go to Pei Wei". I will likely go there again for another chance since they are across from my work but they won't be on the top of my list to visit unless time is a factor. This is our second visit in the last month for carry out. Both times our orders were wrong. I double checked our order with the person on the phone more than once. This time my husband checked our order before he left and had them remake one that was wrong. Then they made wrong the second one wrong so had it remade a 3rd time. All we asked for was sauce on the side so not overly complicated. He got home and the pictures attached are what the sushi looked like a, crumbled up mess. He said it came out that way but he was tired of waiting on food so left without asking for yet another fix. He was offered nothing in return for all the mess ups. To cap it off our food is cold after waiting for all the remakes. We generally like pei wei and their food but this location is awful. I am likely done ordering food here.
