This Pei Wei is really conveniently located for me, so I've stopped in a few times. I'm not a huge fast food eater, but this is an OK option for fast-casual food that has some healthy-ish options. I typically order the lettuce wraps, which are tasty but never come with enough lettuce. Luckily, you can get more pieces just by asking. My husband usually opts for something a little heartier, like pad thai, which is fine but definitely not up there with some of the best. We just tried the kung pao shrimp roll, which is a California roll topped with fried shrimp, and we enjoyed it. Along with the lettuce wraps, it is an offering on the "lighter" options menu. :) The cookies are fine for 99 cents. I didn't love it but I didn't hate myself for eating it afterward either! Service is good. The employees typically seem pretty cheerful and are very helpful for a fast-casual restaurant. They come around to clean up the tables and even offer a smile. If you want cheap and quick Chinese food, Pei Wei is the best bang for your buck without sacrificing flavor. This particular Pei Wei is closest to my job. Every week or two, we normally order lunch from there on Fridays. The take-out line is usually very quick compared to the regular line, so we tend to order online and pick up. They have now, too, that you can pay online, so that makes life easier. Just tell them your name and that's that. If you are dining in, prepare to order and sit down. They'll give you a number and eventually bring you your food; note that drinks are self service though. In comparison to years ago, they have a lot more options in sizes. You can either get a small or regular entrée. I switch it up depending on whether I get an appetizer or not. Oh, and they have lots of fortune cookies you can get for free. My favorites to eat here are the chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice, although I have most recently ordered the steak teriyaki and very much enjoyed it. If basics aren't your thing, they have some elaborate salads, sushi, and Dan Dan noodles to name a few other options. At any rate, Pei Wei is certainly worth a try, so go on and enjoy it. read more

It's really a 2-star but they have nice décor and a good vibe. I ordered curry chicken and it was not curry- it was something else. They didn't have any of the flavor right at all and it wasn't even something I could eat while I was starving. I asked for it spicy- and it was not at all. Also- they never actually brought me my food, they put it in a box and left it up at the front. I said 'for-here' and I had to go up to the front after 20 minutes of not having my food. Overall- the food is dry, flavorless, not prepared how you ask for it, and completely off. I would have to try something else because I'm sure I'll be brought here again. First you order, then staff hands you a number...you sit and then the staff brings you your food. In the past, I believe I had chosen the wrong items on the menu to eat. On my last visit, I chose to eat the Korean Spicy Chicken. I love spicy and this plate was extremely spicy. It took me by surprise. They have a couple new items on the menu, such as the Wei Better Orange Chicken. My husband ordered that plate and it was really good. If you're trying to stay away from spicy, that plate is a good choice. You can choose your rice. The options are white rice, brown rice and fried rice. Servers so nice and helpful, food was fresh and tasty, specials were very good and drink station interesting and Cleaning. We walked up ordered and got our drinks. They had the coke station with its new flavors and 2 teas unsweet that were both amazing. Black chai and citrus something. I had the orange. 4 our of 5 had orange chicken and they finished it all. I was very pleased with the service received at this location. Specifically, Julio was very attentive and patient when taking my order over the phone. Due to the current covid-19 circumstances, I opted out of curbside service so that I could check the cleanliness of the restaurant. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised to see Julio cleaning and sanitizing all over. Once i paid, he volunteered to take my food out to my car so I wouldn't wait inside the restaurant, even though it was obvious he was VERY busy. Great customer service. Great food. We ordered a variety of entries and the spring rolls. Sprng rolls were tasty and the right portion. Food came out in two waves which I appreciate since it means nothing died in the pass. The orange peel shrimp was delicious. The shrimp Pad Thai was hot delicious and had just the right amount of heat. HUGE PORTION. My Thai Green curry was pretty tasty but the brown rice was a tad undercooked and chewy. Not what i would have expected. The wait staff was very nice. Love, love, love Pei Wei diner. I have been to this one 20-30 times over the course of last 4-5 years. I do what I always do, order my entree and get a water cup which I "accidentally" fill with Coke. I mean, I.T just happens. To back up 5 minutes, black dude in a black Chef's uniform, obviously filling in and doesn't know what he is doing, is taking my order and after he repeats it WRONG, I correct him, and he ENTERS it wrong again. Since I order the same exact thing over the last 100 visits at different locations, I know the total with tax down to the cent. The order was a bowl of wonton soup and a SMALL Thai dynamite. He hands me the receipt and at one glance at the total I know he ordered a REGULAR. I point It out to him and instead of him saying "Sorry, allow me to fix it" he mumbles something like "it's just says Thai dynamite here.." to which is respond "SLIGHTLY" condescendingly "you mean to tell me you don't know you serve two different sizes at YOUR restaurant?" He gets offended and tries to articulate an explanation, but he's JUST A CHEF - so he can't -- then gets the little nerdy white girl to fix it, who by the way handles it politely and has sweet energy. Same white girl delivers my food and sees the coke in my water cup and tell the black cook. The now insulted, incompetent cook behind counter who is out for vengeance comes over to my table and in full tone MUTTERS some bullshit apology about the mix up at the counter, which is making me super uncomfortable. Right as I try to dismiss him, he proceeds to say even louder "but you drinkin' MAH Coke and you gon' have to pay for it. " and walks off. Well the scene he causes, with me sitting in a table surrounded by 3-4 tables full of ppl, prompts me to cause an even BIGGER scene. Since he ran off to his dog house behind the counter and I can't speak to him in a normal tone, I start shouting, "HERE YOU GO BIG BOSS", I pull out a stack of $20s & $50s that I don't normally carry on me, I pull out a $20 and... "HERE YOU GO, KEEP THE CHANGE YOU NEED IT MORE THAN ME" I'm not saying I wasn't wrong about "accidentally" putting coke in my water cup and not paying for it, but knowing there's a $6.99 bag of syrup being mixed with carbonated water inside the machine, tends to have me "accidentally" pour coke in water cups quite OFTEN. Message of the story: the incompetent-for-order taking cook, got embarrassed and together with me caused a scene that was super unpleasant for me AND more importantly the 8-9 ppl surrounding us. The food that showed up this evening was 30 minutes late from a gentleman who could not understand his GPS or speak English. We spent quite some time finding someone to put on the phone to help him find his way here. By the time he was here everything was soggy and the lo mein was congealed, but even outside of that the food is not something you would want to eat. After calling, and speaking to the gentleman on the phone who remembered the order, he had nothing but excuses and hung up on me. he said he had no control over the third-party delivery. However, his company can absolutely choose who they choose to do business with in order to maintain the integrity of their food and the reputation of their business. Having a nearby Pei Wei can be convenient for many reasons. Sometimes, when I'm craving Chinese food not much can crack that specific yearning. Often times take out can be heavy and not be the type of meal you're looking for. Pei Wei is essentially the fast food of Chinese cuisine without the drive through. I like it for lunch but it's suitable for dinner as well. It's not fine dining so expecting something of that caliber isn't realistic but the taste is great and that matters. Take out is popular but it's strongly suggested you check your order before leaving to ensure it's accuracy. Its located in a densely populated area so congestion can easily be expected during rush hours. The one thing that makes them lose a star is the sized portions for takeout and dine in vary in size. You might find that your takeout order is a bit smaller than what you'd usually see in person served to you. I personally don't understand it but that's how it works here. read more
