In what was a comfortable amount of time our food came to the table piping hot and absolutely delicious. The haddock was light, flaky and obviously fresh covered with a light breading that was perfectly season. The fries were hot and perfectly deep fried. My sirloin tips were exceptional, perfectly charred on the outside and a beef eaters delightful rare to medium rare inside. Marinated perfectly not overstated but just enough to enhance the delicious and tender tips. Not served with gravy or a mushy sauce of peppers and onions or whatever just perfectly cooked beef tips. I think they surely gave the nearby Wildwood Steakhouse a run for the money. My mashed potatoes were piping hot, lightly seasoned and tasted like home made with a home made texture and a few lumps. The veggies were fresh, perfectly cooked al dente' and I smiled as the chef Tom, peeked out the door to give and get a grateful thumbs up. A very pleasant evening out in a pub that certainly does not get enough raves about its fast and friendly service, and truly great food.
